Hey,

At the moment it won’t work with Joomla 3.0. An update will be available some time next month. I’d advise sticking to Joomla 2.5 until Joomla 3.0 stabilizes and common extensions fully supports it.

To Hi Alex,

To build your site like my demo, you need to run the clarke_j25_quickstart.zip like you would a Joomla installer package. (the dump is located in in the quickstart package under /installation/sql/mysql/joomla.sql folder)

Navigate to extensions > module manager > filter/search for ‘Slogan and Spot-on’ and edit. A PSD is provided in images_sources.zip > _elements/content/top-spot.psd on how to use the same effect on your custom images.

Hi,

You need to open layouts/template.php, then search for ‘top-links’ and remove the entire div (and anything within the div). That way you’ll be able to use the entire span for the top navigation.

Hi, I download Clarke joomla template and install it but when i log in via administrator. When im trying to change style for blue and push save. Template back to default style. How to fix this?

Hi colddog,

This is normally caused by file permissions not being configured correctly. Please see this documentation on how to set the correct permissions for warp framework to work correctly: http://www.yootheme.com/themes/documentation/troubleshooting/file-permission-issues

Warp stores all the config settings in a file named ‘config’ and if your settings are not properly set or the file ownership is wrong you’ll notice that nothing is changing in the profiles. Basically what is happening is when it fails to create the ‘config’ file, it defaults to the default style whose settings are stored in ‘config.default’

Hey Colddog,

Did you read the entire documentation that I provided? You also need to set the correct file ownership. The only two reasons that the config wont save is file permission and CHMOD ownership. Please also note you need to set the recursive option on when setting the file permissions.

I have a problem when I choose the SEO friendly urls. It work’s only in first level. forexample: home is ok, but home/about isn’t. in the 2 or 3. levels it show 404 error page. Do you know why?
