It’s certainly possible yes however you will need to alter both the HTML & CSS . How easy that is depends on how proficient you are in those areas.

Thanks. They would break out of the blog content column. You could resize all the images by adding a single line to your CSS file which in effect would give them a maximum width.

Thank you for your answer! But I don’t have any picture wider then 500px on my website. This is my maximum size. :( So it’s a problem I guess (I have more then 300 articles so I can’t reupload wider images)...

The images don’t have to be 500px wide, I thought you asked what would happen if you did have them that wide? You can insert any size images into the blog section.

Great theme. Ive got a problem though. I originally created a page called “portfolio” for my portfolio theme. I decided to change it. Now whenever I create a portfolio piece the item posts to the /portfolio not the new name for the page? Ive checked to make sure the new page is using portfolio page? also the Jq filter has stopped working?

Just to clarify, the images on the detail pages of the portfolio HAVE to be 700 px wide, otherwise they will be stretched to that size automatically? (that’s what is happening to mine.) – if so, that’s fine, I just want to be sure that there isn’t some option I can uncheck to unscale the images.

That’s correct, they HAVE to be 700px wide in order for the theme to dynamically calculate the height of each image – this is so the slider functions correctly.

I wish I had known that, because the only way I see around it if I don’t want my image to be 700px wide, is to have a white extension built into the image itself to sorta fake it out. Of course then, you open lightbox and now you can see the white box work around.

There is no way to turn off the light box functionality and go straight to the detail page when clicking the thumbnail, is there?

Hi,

A few queries – I understand you can’t choose more than 1 category for the portfolio. Is this going to be possible in the future? So many of my items cross into several categories, and to be honest I’m really dissapointed that I can’t have post items displaying in more than one “skill” area…

Another issue I’m having is with permalinks. I tried to use custom permalinks and the portfolio items wouldn’t display. That’s a bit hit in the SEO department. I was hoping each item would have its own unique URL with ksearchable keywords.

Any help with these issues?

The slider on my site has stopped working randomly, I haven’t touched any of the code.. it worked yesterday and when I look at my site today it only has the first image and doesnt continue through.

Any thoughts?

HI. I can’t add more than the thumbnail and one image to a portfolio. First of all Wordpress won’t give me the ‘insert into post’ option all the time. So i paste the url of the image into the slot where I am supposed to ‘browse’ for the image. That works fine for the thumb and the first image. But after that it won’t pick up the 2-5 images? What ami I missing?

I just downloaded this theme – which looked really good on here – but unfortunately, looks nothing like it on my site… in fact there is no slider even though I uploaded the five necessary photos. It just simply says “The Blog” in ugly lettering and has my posts and photos all squished up under it. How do I unsquish my photos – so they can be their big glorious selves? And how come I don’t have a slider displaying the photos I selected? I have faith that these issues will be resolved, thanks sir =)
