Hello Mixey, I am considering using this theme as my news blog, which would be secondary to my current main site. I need to know a couple quick questions first though. Thanks for your time.

1. Rather than images being the post visual is it possible to have a video? ( youTube or Vimeo ) As shown in the second post on my example.

2. Will I be able to customize the look? I would need to have a header BG, with borders and directly below a Content BG also with borders. The main BG would be a repeating patter which sits behind everything. I’d also like to get the menu nav as close as possible to what I currently have but not as critical as matching the design look. I also assume that these nav buttons could link back to my original site?

3. In the right side column, does it need to be latest tweets & flicker, or am I amble to place my own product ads & images all the way down it?

I have a few questions. I can’t get the feature to show up, I have uploaded over three posts and used the URL bar at the bottom of the post. Infact, nothing shows up on the main front page. http://momentsbylauren.com

Also I have a “Sub menu” that has appeared above my Twitter feed in the right hand column which I would like to get rid of, as well as the additional links to the sub menu that appear as text links at the very bottom of the page.

Also what Flickr ID is a group ID? I don’t think I have any groups? I would just like my latest photos to show up.

Is there a facebook plugin that you can recommend that works well with this theme, either / both a like box and link button on individual posts.

I know this seems like a really stupid question, but I can’t get my menu to work. I went into the menu area to create one and tried to set it to appear as the Main Menu. Nothing shows up…I’m assuming the main menu should appear in the header to the right of the logo. I set it to appear in the Top Menu and it worked then, but that’s not where I want it. Do I have to do something with the code to make this work? It’s fine if I do…just don’t know what to look for.

I got it figured out, but still not sure why it was an issue. I have a child theme going, and it worked only after I put header.php in the child theme folder. Thought that it would just inherit the page from the parent theme, but apparently not. If you could explain, I’d appreciate it.

Trying to use the Fancybox for Wordpress plugin (and have tried countless other gallery plugins) and NONE of them work! I thought I was doing something wrong, but after trying everything and getting very frustrated, I activated the 2011 theme and voila! Fancybox works perfectly. Is there any way you can fix this?

I am having trouble linking my twitter feeds in the side bar. I have put my twitter username in the clean blog settings, but nothing is showing, any ideas?

Hi, I recently started to change some things around on my blog, using your cleanblog theme, which I have been using for a while and love.

I changed the category names and moved some things around to line up better with my portfolio site, but now when you go to my blog there is nothing on the main page. When you click on categories my posts display fine, but nothing on the main page, as well as the scrolling featured section.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I may have edited them, would you know where I might find the script to fix this?

I did a lot of editing to move the page over a bit.

Do I need to download the latest files here or will they update through wordpress?

Hello, We recently upgraded to wordpress 3.3.1 and now all the images on the featured slider and home page are all gone!! They show up in the actual post and in the media library, any idea how to fix? Love the theme btw. Our site is www.dmvsgotstyle.com
