@Cupcakes: I figured I’ve been misunderstanding you all along =) I realize all you needed to see was a short snippet taken from the theme before buying.

I’ll do it, please let me know next time if you come up with any other item of mine =)

About the selector type choices, it’s your and my own preference of styling elements, we don’t need to argue on that – since I’m not perfect, there’s always better ways to accomplish things – =)

Thank you again for the purchase

Fantastic template. Nice and clean and well documented!

Quick question though… When the top level tab has submenus and is selected, the dropdown text disappears (text the same color as the background?). The nav arrows are visible, but the text can only be viewed by hovering.

Quick fix?

@fivedobies: thank you very much!

About your issue, did you change the code? It works perfectly in normal cases.

Onuro, once again, what a great design you created. However, I have a quick question:

I noticed that for the sidebar menu you used jQuery accordion, which is great and means you are using an existing jquery core. So when I tried to add a downloaded datepicker from jquery.com the datepicker appears correctly, but messes up my sidemenu (conflict between the two widgets? sidebar and datepicker perhaps?)

Please notice I am using the same .js file from your design, but for the datepicker a different css, the one that was downloaded from jquery.com after choosing the desired theme.

How can I fix this? Would you provide a datepicker with your design? Thank you very much in advance for your time and support.

@kulander: thank you very much for the purchase =)

Unfortunately, you need to modify datpicker css file yourself (which is easy) since I don’t know what other detailed modifications you have made to the theme and I might fail if get my hands on =)

Thank you! Onur

Indeed, but guess what? (first of all i am no experienced user, but try my best). When I change the CSS for the datepicker, for some reason, the sidebar changes as well, as if both where using the same “widget css tag”. I tried looking at all of the code from your files, but couldn’t find a solution.

Are you using the “default css tag” from jquery for the sidebar? If so, where can I find it so I can change the name and both the sidebar and datepicker have different css tags??

Thanks a lot Onuro and for such a quick response!

Ah I understand. Ok well:

- Jquery ui uses a common class structure for all of it’s widgets. That’s why when you change a plugin’s style, others get affected as well.

Siebar’s accordion menu is not any way related to jquery ui’s styles actually. All the necessary selectors for the sidebar is located in the style.css file.

But; my assumption for the the main reason of sidebar being affected is that you try to modify a common class like “.jquery-ui” which has domination on all elements. If you just modify the selector like “ui-date-picker”, that will do just fine without any problems (that’s how I styled the calendar on the right).

If you can’t solve the issue no matter what:

My personal opinion; the best way to style datepicker separately is to download a copy of datepicker plugin as standalone, including it’s style document. I’m sure there are many unofficial jQuery based datepickers around.

If you follow my suggestion please let me know how it went and let me know if there’s been any challenges. I’ll more than happy to help.

And thank you=)

Nevermind about using a custom theme…it’s just very time consuming trying to find a solution…I will do this when I have more free time.

In the meantime, in order to use the current datepicker you have with the design, which is found on the cleanity.js file, how can fix the form input with the “pop up datepicker”?

According to http://jqueryui.com/demos/datepicker/#default the form input is the default state instead of the “in-inline calendar” (as seen in your index file). The website says to use the css id “datepicker” for it to pop up, in this case the “id=calendar” tag. And it works, the datepicker pop ups. But the following problem appears:

1. The “headers” of the datepicker do not appear correctly (please notice I have gone back to the original files of your design). By headers I mean: Month, year, previous button, and next button.

Onuru, once again thanks for your support and time! Take care, K
