Mad Dot – great theme excited to start using it.
I tried opening up the Theme Admin Panel but it doesnt load any content. Is something outdated? I tried it on chrome, firefox & safari & 2 different mac’s. But it still isn’t loading anything options for me to change.

Thanks for the purchase, please make you sure you uploaded only the theme to the wordpress directory, not the entire zip file. Just checked your site, it is not my theme.

dummy content ready? Does the slider come ready in dummy content?
Yes, you can import theme demo content. The slider does not come with the dummy content.

I am wondering how the performance of the theme is. In the demo, every page I visit has the “loading” icon for a second or two…but on other sites, pages load fairly fast and instantaneously in many cases. I’m wondering if this indicates the theme’s performance, or if it’s just an issue with the demo server?
It would be great to see some other examples of sites using this theme.
I you the preloader to load the whole content at once, not just load the text and wait till the images are loading

Hey there, wondered if
1. the Page Background Image is sitewide? or can be selected on a page by page basis? If not can this option be considered in an update?
2. Can the page builder GT3 be disabled? I tend to use Visual Composer on my themes for uniformity – if not does yours allow widget placement anywhere in the pages?
3. is there a custom CSS over-ride in the theme options?
4. I noticed that the demo does not validate fully – any plans to correct this?

Hello! 1. You can set the default background for all the pages, or choose the one for a specific page, it is up to you. 2. You can’t disable it, this theme is based on its functionality. 3. It is child theme ready. 4. will take it into consideration.

Thinking of purchasing – beautiful theme. Can the pageloading icon be disabled – I think it may be slowing down the page loading a small bit – not sure. Also, can I disable breadcrumbs in admin panel – too much space for me between the top links and body.
Hello! Yes, it is possible to remove preloader. You can disable the breadcrumd globally or on the specific page.

Frankly speaking do not see slow loading on my end
I want this ssssooooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddd! But it’s loading really slowly on my phone. Wouldn’t mind so much if it loaded content first and then loaded the slider, which I’m assuming is what’s taking it so long…
Just found a much bigger issue, I couldn’t find the menu bar on my phone and then by turning my phone to view a video, I see that the slider is loading OVER the menu bar…
A super quick answer on this will get me to purchase…

Yes, the slider is taking the time to load its content. I will take a look what can be done, but via wifi it is loading fine. As for the menu bar can you please send the sreenshot from your device to help at themedev dot me and also let me know your phone version.
Hi Mad_dog Just a pre sale question. As for showroom I have noticed on your video that in the portfolio page is possible to select between three different formats ( standard, image, video), tha is mean that if you select video as format you can have a video as a thumbnail rather than the featured image? thanks in advance
I use the images for the thumbs in all formats, had too many requests regarding this issue, though I had video instead of image in the thumb.

But, I’ve got a few questions:
1. Can we change the size of the logos (so header+footer logo)? 2. Is there a way to disable the load icon when you open a page?
The second question is not that important, but I just want to know if that’s possible. The first question is the thing I’ve got trouble with.

I am also concerned about the loading time. The theme seems to load slowly, especially on a phone.

The only page where it can load slowly is a shortcode page, where there are a lot of info.
It’s loading slowly on all pages. On my iPhone (with iFrame disabled, of course) it takes anywhere from 2-8 seconds to load any page, whereas other theme demos load in less than 1 second. On a computer the results are similar. I ran speed tests (gtmetrix.com and webpagetest.org), and the results were extremely slow: almost 7 seconds on GTmetrix, and almost 25 seconds on Web Page Test. Other theme demos were much faster there too. I don’t know if the problem is in your theme or the demo server, but there’s definitely a problem. I’m not saying it to be negative…I’d love to find the answer and buy the theme. There is the specific URL I test:

Also please note that I use preloader to load all the data at once, a lot of images, for example is the slider. Hey mad_dog love the theme just bought it and loaded it in – all working well except for the following issue.
Notice that the Excerpt function is not available for Posts. It is available for Portfolio. Notice that the dummy content uses Excerpt or teaser but wondering how to make this feature work. Thanks and love the theme! Using WP 3.5 B.

You have to enable the excerpt, once you are in the post, please click “Screen options” on right top corner and check “Excerpt”.

The theme looks great. I have a pre-sale question. Can more than 6 logos be uploaded to the ‘Our Partners’ section? If so, will it create a new line, or use a slider feature like the other sections use?
It is displaying the number of items per line (latest ones), there is no scroll.
Login for members area. I like your theme. Is there a way to have pages which can be viewed only by members who are logged in and to restrict the ability to register for the site to a specific set of users (members)?
You need a specific plugin for that. Membership wordpress plugin
I just bought this theme and when I go to download it a screen pops up and says this site contains malware and wont download this theme takes me to an error screen when I click continue. How do I fix this and did I just infect my computer downloading this theme?
