Dear Team,

I already do some colors changes (color scheme) in your PSD template. Kindly need your advice about the slicing (names’ filing, size and scaling)?

I mean, It’s a hard things to slice/implement the PSD without any guideline at all (useless PSD ) // especially in the angle part.

Kindly need your advices Best Regards & Many Thanks

hellotiko

Dear Team,

I already press the “Ctrl +” to enabled the guideline, and it’s still confused.

Due to avoid the misleading, especially in precision issues, really appreciate if you can inform me the slice option (position)

You can contact my email (informed to you) anytime

Best Regards & Many Thanks

Hello there,

Sorry for getting late on the reply. The PSDs are only to guide you regarding the grids, There are no specific sliced graphics that are used on the theme. The guides are simply for multi column layout.

If you are getting any confusion on guides, you can send me your PSD file at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com so that I will put appropriate notes/guides for you.

Hi there

Nice LP.

I’ve noticed in IE7 , IE8 and IE9 that the pager icons
<ul id="pager"></ul>
do not centre like they do in FF.

Any chance you could fix this?

Thanks! :)

SaurabhSharma

Hello there,

The list items uses display:inline-block property which is not supported properly on IE. So a default fallback will be left aligned bullets for IE. I will see further if there is any workaround.

Regards

Thanks for looking into it. I could live with the pager links on the left, but I’m trying to have ‘next’ and ‘previous’ links too. So when I try and put the pager links on the left, and the prev/next on the right (using floats) the bg image for the shadow obviously doesn’t continue along the full width of the panel.

If you can’t find a workaround, is there an easy way to have a ‘prev’ link on the left of the pager links, and a ‘next’ link on the right of the pager links?

Thanks for your time! :)

SaurabhSharma

Hello again,

You are right. The background image below the slider is actually a background image of the ul aligned to top.

You can have prev/next links absolutely positioned with left:0 and right:0 respectively. You can also adjust z-index and top position value to put them at appropriate place. The absolute position on next/prev buttons will let the ul stay at the current place. Hope that helps.

Regards

Thanks SaurabhSharma, I will give that a try. ;)

Unfortunately I don’t think the solution is good. Because of the original issue of IE not centering the circles. : (

I tried an alternative, I removed the text align center on the UL so that everything would be aligned left. But if you compare the positioning in FF and IE, you will see they are both left aligned (naturally) but in IE they seem to have padding or margin applied to the left (even though they don’t!).

I don’t know what else to try! :(

SaurabhSharma

Hello again,

Try to change #pager to ul#pager inside style.css file. Hope that will work. IE is too stubborn to recognize UL with just class names.

Regards

Excellent, thanks. Now the UL aligns to the left neatly and exactly the same as FF, so I can right align the prev/next links.

Thanks again! :)

Dear Team,

Thanks for your prev. advice.

Due to configure the new theme : I already implement your tips (“slice” and “save for web”), I strongly believe that the numbers of PNG are correct too.

But the result is bad (It’s just doesn’t fits at all)

I already send you my slicing for your perusal (please check your inbox) Kindly need help and advice

Hi, would you have a Wordpress version of Clickr??? I truly believe your design is magnificent and I would love to use it for several websites if you have it in WP. I hope so!!!

SaurabhSharma

Hello there,

I will definitely consider if this can be implemented with WP. Since a WP theme will have many more elements, like a sidebar, footer area, flexible options etc., I will have to see whether they fit with this design or not.

Hi, First of all, beautiful landing page!

I have one question/request and I think it will attract a lot more buyers. On the “with page content” preview there’s a newsletter subscription input and button, would it be possible to replace that and the testimonials block with a contact form? I mean, remove the newsletter and testimonial block and add a 3 fields contact form, Name, Email, Messaje + Button?

I’ll be waiting your reply to proceed with my purchase.

Thanks in advance!

SaurabhSharma

Hello Cromatico,

Thank you for your interest in Clickr. The idea of a contact form is good. As you mentioned, those fields can be added by duplicating the input fields with same classes but different name and IDs. This should not be too complicated. Since there is already one input field and button, it would be easy to add a couple more input fields.

I will see if I can provide that in future updates.

Regards

Thanks for your reply, I did modified the html and css to add a contact form and it looks very cool. Here’s an screenshot: http://cl.ly/C4pw My CSS skills are far from perfect so I was wondering if you can help me add the validation/error message to the right side of the submit button so it will look like this: http://cl.ly/C3ym

Please let me know if you can help me do that :)

Thanks in advance, C.

SaurabhSharma

Hello again,

Once you are done with the script, there will be a div or span block that contains the error. We can set that block to appear at the desired position using the “position:absolute” or a float. I can be more specific about that once I get the code. :)

Hi Saurabh – thanks again for this great template – I bought Klix a few days ago, and now trying Clickr as well. I wonder if there are some simple changes I could make to the subscribe.php in Klix that would make it work with the subscribe form in Clickr? Thanks in advance, Chris

SaurabhSharma

Hello Chris,

Thanks for your kind feedback.

The subscribe form in Clickr should be replaced by the entire form as in Klix. i.e. open index.html of Klix and copy entire form block, including the success and error message. Next, paste this block in Clickr, replacing the old form.

Copy subscribe.php to the Clickr folder. The top and bottom portion of subscribe.php is plain HTML that should be same as in index.html of Clickr.

Finally, open klix/js/custom.js file and copy the “Subscribe form validation” code. (Line 104 to 134). This should be pasted inside clickr/js/custom.js file (just before line no. 17).

I’m not sure if I was clear enough in explaining this, but I hope you will get this done. Meanwhile I will try if I can place an update for working subscribe form in Clickr. :)

Hi,

Thanks for a great theme!

I have a problem displaying special characters such as åäö between

tags.

Trött på dig

will display: Trtt p dig Do you have a fix for this?
SaurabhSharma

Hello fredrikstraat,

The main heading uses Cufon font PT Sans. The js/PT_Sans.font.js file contains only basic Latin character set. You can create a new font JS file from the Cufon Website and replace js/PT_Sans.font.js with the new one. While creating this new file, choose other character set as required.

If you wish to disable Cufon, you can do so inside index_default.html file:

<script type="text/javascript">
Cufon.replace('h2');
</script>

Delete this lines and save the file. The headings will use default sans serif font, and will support special characters.

Dear Mr Sharma,

Looks great! Is there anyway to get rounded corners on the button and the slider border in IE? Possibly curvycorners.js? I’ve never implemented curvycorners so I’d need some guidance.

Thank you! :)

SaurabhSharma

Hello szombory,

CSS3 properties like rounded corners are not supported in IE. Instead of using a JavaScript workaround, I’d recommend providing the rounded images that are created in PhotoShop.

I haven’t tried curvycorners before. So you can try that as well.

Hello

Want to buy this template but wonder if I can use it in my facebook page. Can I resize the template in 850px width ?

Regards

SaurabhSharma

Hello Numenor,

Thanks for browsing this template. The template is built on fixed 960px width. changing it to 850px will require changes in PhotoShop images and CSS . If you are good at CSS and Photoshop, this can be done. I can only assist with the required selectors to do so. No personal customization is provided.

Hi,

I would like to buy this template but I wonder if it works in Google Chrome?

Thanks

SaurabhSharma

Hello monurakkus,

Yes it works in Chrome. Didn’t you checked it in Chrome browser yet? Let me know if you are seeing any issues in particular version of Chrome.

Regards

Dear SaurabhSharma,

I already bought it and it is working pretty well. However now I need to change my email subscription form and another image in my website. My web site is www.indiream.com Do you have email subscription templates that could be inline with Clickr template?

Thank you

SaurabhSharma

Hello monurakkus,

Currently, the email newsletter form is only a static HTML form. In order to make it fully functional, it will be required to add some server side script to it. I have provided a working php newsletter in my Klix Landing page.

You can also search for some good ajax/php script that can be used for the newsletter form. In future I will try to update the template with a working script.

Hello!! I have just purchased this theme but I have problems when installing it.

Since I am a complete noob in this business, I just dragged the “clickr” folder into the /public folder through my ftp client, without modifing anything.

Then I try to acces my site using any browser and it says:

“Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”

For sure there´s something I am not doing correctly, could you please help me?

Thanks :)

SaurabhSharma

Hello momofrg,

You can upload the clickr folder at the root directory of your hosting. After doing so, you should access the URL as http://yoursite.com/clickr/index.html

You can also copy the inner contents of clickr and paste at the root leve so that you can access it directly as http://yoursite.com/

If this doesn’t work, kindly send me your FTP details at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. I will check it.

Regards

Hello,

I am getting this error message when I try uploading theme.

“The package could not be installed. The style.css stylesheet doesn’t contain a valid theme header.

Theme install failed. “

SaurabhSharma

Hello bjorn,

I’m sorry to say but this is not a WordPress theme. It’s a static HTML /CSS template. You can upload this template directly on the server root within any folder name. For example, upload the clickr folder to your hosting’s root directory. So your landing page URL will be http://yoursite.com/clickr/index.html

Regards

nice work :)

SaurabhSharma

Thanks mate. :)

Hello

I would like to purchase this but would you be able to provide me simple instructions to move the subscribe area to where the ‘buy’ button is?

I wish to submit more fields too ie. name, address, event date, contact number, etc.

Thanks in advance

SaurabhSharma

Hello stevengraphic,

Thanks for browsing the template.

Subscribe area can be shifted to slider promo area by simply copy and pasting the code. I will help with that.

For adding additional form fields, it can be done by duplicating existing fields and modifying the php code. I will help with that.
