Hi,

how do I set up the MySql DB for the users, and rest of stuff. I could only find one .sql file.

Otherwise, these are just Source file copies of the DEMO, correct?

Thanks Sebastian

Cliptheme

Hello Sebastian, thanks for your message :)

you may want to remember that Clip-one is a html template and it basically represents a sort of “starting point” i.e. the template has to work together with your server-side code. You can use any possible backend technology (PHP, ASP.NET, Python, Perl etc.) but you need to develop YOUR code so that it can cooperate with your MySql DB.

Hope it helps :)

Hi, don’t you supply a full system. Even if it’s paying I would like to buy it. Something in PHP + mySql or something better. With a user login system, tables system, calendar, ...

Cliptheme

Hello there! this would sound great, if we didn’t have a lot of internal work to do. We are really sorry, but right now we can’t deal with any external projects. Thanks though :)

Hello Support.

How are you today? You people done a great job.. Responsive theme works me very well in my software . Here I am facing a problem with the menu while loading in mobile..

Please look at the below image.. Here the menu is working well and full loading in the mobile (Note: Address bar is there in this image)

The second image below showing the problem when the address bar is hidden. I just mentioned the problem with red box…

Please note that, in this view there is no address bar and it shows the dashboard below the menu..

What I want is , When I click the menu I need only show the menu like the first image (Both ways with address bar and without address bar)..

Can you help me on this ? My client is in a very rush.. So Please do the needful as soon as possible..

Thanks for your patience

Hello there, we are all very well, thank you, hope you too :)

As for your issue, try to replace the function runContainerHeight in the main.js (assets/js/main.js) , with the following one:

//function to adapt the Main Content height to the Main Navigation height
    var runContainerHeight = function () {
        mainContainer = $('.main-content > .container');
        mainNavigation = $('.main-navigation');
        if ($pageArea < 760) {
            $pageArea = 760;
        }
        if (mainContainer.outerHeight() < mainNavigation.outerHeight() && mainNavigation.outerHeight() > $pageArea) {
            mainContainer.css('min-height', mainNavigation.outerHeight());
        } else {
            mainContainer.css('min-height', $pageArea);
        };
        if ($windowWidth < 768){
            mainNavigation.css('min-height', $windowHeight - $('body > ..navbar').outerHeight());
        }
    };

Let me know if it works. Have a nice day :)

Thanks for your reply.. Actually we fixed it already with adjusted the max-hieght of menu… Any way let me try the code you mentioned..

I appreciate your responds…

Cliptheme

glad you’ve already found a solution! you’re welcome :)

I am having an issue with the timeline script. When I get beyond 15 items, it seems to cause an issue where one item will separate itself from the center line and justify left instead of keeping to the right of the timeline. It isn’t on the timeline at all.

Any recommendation for a path to fix? You can recreate by simply pasting in about 15 more of the same event on your existing page_timeline.html

Cliptheme

Hello, thank you for your feedback :)

Actually I think your issue isn’t about the 15 items but about their contents. In order to fix it, you should add the attribute “clear” to the main.css (assets/css/main.css) and to the classes “div.timeline .columns > li:nth-child(2n+1” as well as “div.timeline .columns > li:nth-child(2n+2)”. Try the following procedure:

div.timeline .columns > li:nth-child(2n+1) {
                float: left;
                width: 50%;
                clear: left;
}
div.timeline .columns > li:nth-child(2n+2) {
                float: right;
                margin-top: 20px;
                width: 50%;
                clear: right;
}

Let me know if it works ;)

Perfect. Thanks for the quick response.

Hi,

I’ve purchased your theme and implement it for my project. The theme rocks !

But I’ve got a little bug with the sideMenu when it’s reduced (using navigation-small). On a phone (or when I resized my web-browser to basculate in the small view) the submenu doesn’t work. Nothing happened when I clicked on a menu (level 1).

If I removed the navigation-small everythings works fine.

Can you help me ?

Thanks.

Cliptheme

hello again, thank you for the detailed information. Just replace in the file main.js(assets/js/main.js) the function runNavigationMenu with the following one:

 //function to activate the 3rd and 4th level menus
    var runNavigationMenu = function () {
        $('.main-navigation-menu li.active').addClass('open');
        $('.main-navigation-menu > li a').bind('click', function () {
            if ($(this).parent().children('ul').hasClass('sub-menu') && ((!$('body').hasClass('navigation-small') || $windowWidth < 767) || !$(this).parent().parent().hasClass('main-navigation-menu'))) {
                if (!$(this).parent().hasClass('open')) {
                    $(this).parent().addClass('open');
                    $(this).parent().parent().children('li.open').not($(this).parent()).not($('.main-navigation-menu > li.active')).removeClass('open').children('ul').slideUp(200);
                    $(this).parent().children('ul').slideDown(200, function () {
                        runContainerHeight();
                    });
                } else {
                    if (!$(this).parent().hasClass('active')) {
                        $(this).parent().parent().children('li.open').not($('.main-navigation-menu > li.active')).removeClass('open').children('ul').slideUp(200, function () {
                            runContainerHeight();
                        });
                    } else {
                        $(this).parent().parent().children('li.open').removeClass('open').children('ul').slideUp(200, function () {
                            runContainerHeight();
                        });
                    }
                }
            }
        });
    };

Let me know if it works.

Hello nice themeĀ” i have a page with a results of a Db query in a static table. I would like to use the edit button for opening a modal panel with data of any tableĀ“s result to edit them. The question is, how can i send the Id of the record to the modal panel?

Cliptheme

Hello there, glad you like the theme, thank you :) as for your question, you could create a javascript object or use the javascript global variables. Take a look a the following link:

http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_objects.asp

hope it helps :)

Hello there! As I was working on the colors of the login screen – I noticed that the “Back” button takes a VERY long time to get back into the previous page.

For example, if you go to your first example of your login screen: http://www.cliptheme.com/demo/clip-one/login_example1.html

Then click on the “I forgot my password” link. Quickly, you should be in the “I forgot my password” form. However, if you click on the “Back” button link… it’ll take about 10 seconds to get back into the login form.

According to my Firefox Error Console, the javascript jQuery plugins have “too much recursion”. Is there an easy fix to this?

Thanks again

Sorry. *diventa = it becomes ;)

I still didn’t figure this out, sometimes they overlap, and some others, they don’t align. and if I resize the window, they don’t look good, or overlap again.

Hi there, I’ve got your nestable list plugin to work, and I’m using the serialized data. However, I’m trying to figure out how to grab the serialized JSON data using PHP. By any chance, would you know the solution to this?

Thank you!

Hi, after clip-music-3 all other fa icons are wrong. So, if you put: clip-airplane (the next icon comes up) which is the pie chart. How can we fix this? thanks

Default-user

sorry, I was referring to the icons you can add to the buttons. I see there are many icons missing. and also what I mentioned above, which you will see that the icon called clip-airplane is not a plane but a pie chart.

and fa-building is missing its icon

Cliptheme

Hi again Sebababi. With regards to both this and the previous comment, I am afraid I am going to need further information in order to understand and possibily fix your problem. Thank you for your cooperation :)

Default-user

I also see that many basic icons such as: car, bike, train, metro, tram, bus, museum, etc. basically google maps business types icons, are not included. How could I add these as fa- or clip- icons? where are the icons? How can we extend the selection? Thanks in advance.

Cliptheme

Hello Sebababi. Thank you for your several comments ;) Next time, could you be so kind and sum everything up in one comment or send us an email? Otherwise we will definitely overlook something. Thanks a lot for your cooperation ;)

As for your issues, we have been currently rewriting the clip icons library. All the problems you pointed out will be fixed and there will be lots of new icons… stay tuned ;)

Hello, Great template, i have a small issue with the form wizard, this appears in the demo as well, if you check the checkbox’s it doesn’t display their value on the summary screen, its blank. The other form elements seem to work fine.. Im guessing its with the code in form.wizard.js. else if (input.is(”:radio) || input.is(“)) { $(this).html(input.filter(”:checked”).parent(‘label’).text()); } I would like it to at least just display true on the summary page. Please can you supply a fix for this.Im using chrome.

Cheers John

Cliptheme

Hello John, thank you very much for your feedback!

As for your small issue, please replace the function “displayConfirm” in the form-wizard.js (assets/js/form-wizard.js) with the following one:

var displayConfirm = function () {
        $('.display-value', form).each(function () {
            var input = $('[name="' + $(this).attr("data-display") + '"]', form);
            if (input.attr("type") == "text" || input.attr("type") == "email" || input.is("textarea")) {
                $(this).html(input.val());
            } else if (input.is("select")) {
                $(this).html(input.find('option:selected').text());
            } else if (input.is(":radio") || input.is(":checkbox")) {

                $(this).html(input.filter(":checked").closest('label').text());
            } else if ($(this).attr("data-display") == 'card_expiry') {
                $(this).html($('[name="card_expiry_mm"]', form).val() + '/' + $('[name="card_expiry_yyyy"]', form).val());
            }
        });
    };

You may also want to replace the function validateSteps with the following one:

var validateSteps = function (stepnumber, nextstep) {
        var isStepValid = false;
        if (numberOfSteps > nextstep && nextstep > stepnumber) {
            // cache the form element selector
            if (wizardForm.valid()) { // validate the form
                wizardForm.validate().focusInvalid();
                               $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").removeClass('wait');
                //focus the invalid fields
                animateBar(nextstep);
                isStepValid = true;
                return true;
            };
        } else if  (nextstep < stepnumber) {
                $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").addClass('wait');
                 animateBar(nextstep);
                 return true;
        } else {
                $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").removeClass('wait');
            displayConfirm();
            animateBar(nextstep);
            return true;
        };
    };

Also add the following functions in the file main.css (assets/css/main.css):

.swMain ul li > a.done.wait ..stepNumber {
                background-color: #F6F6F6 !important;
                color: #CCCCCC !important;
                text-indent: -0px !important;
}
.swMain ul li > a.done.wait .stepNumber:before {
                content: "" !important;
}

Let me know if it works ;)

Hi there,

This theme is amazing and I am having a blast while using it!

I have come across one issue which is boggling my mind.

On step 3 of the form wizard, the javascript validation is not stopping the user from proceeding to the final step. This is occurring in both my implementation and your demonstration build.

I am running Firefox.

Any assistance would be very helpful.

thanks in advance, Spencer

PS. The ‘back’ button does initiate the validation but not the ‘next’ button.

Cliptheme

hello there, glad you like the theme so much :)

Thank you for your feedback. I will definitely fix the problem with the next release. Meanwhile, you can replace the function “validateSteps” which is in the fil form-wizard.js (assets/js/form-wizard.js) with the following one:

var validateSteps = function (stepnumber, nextstep) {
        var isStepValid = false;
        if (numberOfSteps > nextstep && nextstep > stepnumber) {
            // cache the form element selector
            if (wizardForm.valid()) { // validate the form
                wizardForm.validate().focusInvalid();
                               $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").removeClass('wait');
                //focus the invalid fields
                animateBar(nextstep);
                isStepValid = true;
                return true;
            };
        } else if  (nextstep < stepnumber) {
                $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").addClass('wait');
                 animateBar(nextstep);
                 return true;
        } else {
                $('.anchor').children("li:nth-child("+stepnumber+")")..children("a").removeClass('wait');
            displayConfirm();
            animateBar(nextstep);
            return true;
        };
    };

Please, also add the following classes in the main.css file (assets/css/main.css):

.swMain ul li > a.done.wait .stepNumber {
                background-color: #F6F6F6 !important;
                color: #CCCCCC !important;
                text-indent: -0px !important;
}
.swMain ul li > a.done.wait .stepNumber:before {
                content: "" !important;
}

You might also want to modify the function “displayConfirm” in form-wizard.js :

var displayConfirm = function () {
        $('.display-value', form).each(function () {
            var input = $('[name="' + $(this).attr("data-display") + '"]', form);
            if (input.attr("type") == "text" || input.attr("type") == "email" || input.is("textarea")) {
                $(this).html(input.val());
            } else if (input.is("select")) {
                $(this).html(input.find('option:selected').text());
            } else if (input.is(":radio") || input.is(":checkbox")) {

                $(this).html(input.filter(":checked").closest('label').text());
            } else if ($(this).attr("data-display") == 'card_expiry') {
                $(this).html($('[name="card_expiry_mm"]', form).val() + '/' + $('[name="card_expiry_yyyy"]', form).val());
            }
        });
    };

Please let me know if it works. Really hope it helps :)

Default-user

Thank you for your timely reply. unfortunately after replacing the suggested code, the form was just printing on one page.

I had made one minor adjustment to the validateSteps function which resolved the validation of step 3 but then the step 4 reporting data was lost. For my needs this is ok.

The change made was from: if( numberOfSteps !== nextstep )

to:

if( stepnumber != nextstep )

Thanks, Spencer

Cliptheme

Great you figured it out, Spencer, just contact us, if you need anything else ;)

Hi I had purchased your tempalate and its a nice and cool one. But I’ve a little problem when I tried to integrate that with ASP.NET. Everything looks fine. But when I change the style from wide to boxed, the header and footer keeps their state and everything else changed their style from wide to a boxed state. I didnt understand the issue. Requesting your support.

Thanks

Cliptheme

Hello thank you for your message :) glad you like our theme!

Well, offhand, your issue doesn’t seem related to ASP.NET but to the CSS. Please, make sure you have placed the CSS in your master page, according to the following order:

1) bootstrap.min.css

2) main.css

3) main-responsive.css

If this order is correct, please send me a mail with the link to your demo, so that we can check it out ok? ;)

Can I expect frontend of this theme? somewhere you mentioned it will come in second half of jan but it is almost end of jan. Can you share atleast snapshots of your frontend so that I can plan the content of my website accordingly.

I am loving it.. appreciate your efforts

thank you. means a lot to us :)

Hi there,

How can I save the dropped items in the calendar to MySQL i have tried many tutorials but cant make it work with the form-calendar.js provided.

I do not mind paying from a script that will do this… Can you help?

Cliptheme

Hello there, thank you for your message :)

Well, you can perform this action (save) both in the drop and in the submits of the form-calendar.js. Unfortunately, we cannot engage ourselves with external projects, but I don’t think you’ll have any troubles in handling the functions you need :) Good Luck!

Hi there,

Thanks for your previous help – but a new question – printing in general – I noticed your theme doesn’t print nicely. Ideas? I need to be able to print general tables etc.

Most of my printing is through a modal window. I saw in your recent release you have a printable invoice (I checked it in chrome however and it still doesn’t look that good – its ok but not great – I can send screen shot if you want) – but its not just invoices I need to print – mostly I just want to be able to print the bootstrap grid and tables. Ideas?

Thanks

Cliptheme

Hello aabbadi. Thank you for your suggestions.

As you maybe have already noticed, we constantly improve clip-one and its functionalities in order to deliver the best possible services. don’t worry, we’ll work hard on the printing function as well ;)

Hi,

How can I make the .horizontal-menu less high. I tried everything, also in its 3 containers. and can’t find the solution.

Hello again sebababi. I am afraid I need some more information to help you out. Can you please provide me further details? Thanks :)

Hi there,

Cool theme, especially in terms of visuals. However, I think you should remove that you have less support. As Vinco also mentions the project is missing all the LESS files you have used to build it with. Therefore, we cannot easily adapt components to our needs and the theme, which means that we unfortunately cannot use the theme. Do you have a chance to update the project with the missing LESS files? This will truly be awesome, we would love to use this theme.

Best, Kfiil

Hello Kfiil, thanks for your message. The file LESS is currently used to manage color variations. We have been working on a new clip-one version though, with a definitely more efficient LESS support, so stay tuned and thank you very much for your suggestion :)

Hi Friend Am facing a strange problem in Firefox only when firebug in opened. When we try Dropdown with multiple selection when firebug is opened , its firing an error in firebug which says TypeError: elem.dispatchEvent is not a function and also the control is not working when that situation. When we turnoff firebug and on trying that again, that will work without any issue. Mine is an aspx page. Requesting your urgent support.

Hello friend, that really is a strange problem, and I am not able to replicate.

Would it be possible for you to send me a link to your work in aspx to check a few things? thanks :)

Dear friend,

first of all, I am really sorry I overlooked your comment, it was placed at the bottom of the page, so I didn’t see it at all. Anyway, thanks for your message!

As for your request, the minimum height is usually set by the main.js (assets/js/main.js). Yet, if you want to control it via css, please put an ”!important” in the min-height and in the height of the classnavbar-collapse, as follows:

.navbar-collapse {
    min-height : 1200px !important;
    height: 1200px !important;
    max-height: 1200px !important;
}

Hope it helps ;)
