Create a blog page using the blog template, and make sure you don’t have that page set as the posts page in Settings > Reading.

Hi,
Is there a way to have my twitter feed show up automatically on my blog page? It appears that it is possible based on the live preview.
To further add, if there is no way to automatically show my twitter feed, how do I get my tweets to show the same way as the live preview?

Unfortunately not, the tweets shown in the preview are manually added.
All you need to do is provide the URL to the tweet in a post (make sure it’s not made into a link when you paste it into the editor).

Hi Ed! Currently I have my blog page set in the non-masonry mode, as in my Settings > Readings options are under “static page” with the Front Page set on “Home” (a landing page I created using the default template) and the Posts Page set on “Blog” (a page set in the blog template). I really want to change my Front Page to my blog but every time I try to reconfigure that on my Settings, the blog reverts back to the masonry format. How can I resolve this? Thanks!
You could set the front page to “your latest posts”?

You can’t edit the page as such, what are you looking to change? The page is automatically created by WordPress.

Hi Ed! Sorry to bug you again.
I currently have my blog set up in the “posts” mode (as opposed to masonry) and I have it set up so that you can view the entire post on the blog page (as opposed to preview links that link out to individual posts) with the CSS you have provided me. As of now, the 1) date, 2) add comment option and 3) share options don’t appear until you click on the individual blog post. I was wondering if there was a way to have these three components appear on the blog page, like the following blog: nubbytwiglet.com.

Unfortunately not, you can only have those on the individual blog post pages.

That’s unfortunate. Can you explain to me why this isn’t possible? When we set up the blog page so the entire posts could be seen, it seemed like the components could simply be added in by altering/adding in php commands.
It’s not something that WordPress supports as standard. You could try what’s suggested here though – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/comments-on-blog-page-2

Hello,
I’m trying to import the demo content and it just seems to “stall” during the process and do nothing. Some of the images uploaded but I’m not sure what the problem is. None of the blog posts, pages, or other information is there. Any idea what might be wrong?
Also—-I selected the menu correctly and there appear to be links there, but they’re the same color as the background and do not work the same as in the demo.

For the import issue, try increasing your php limits (or asking your web host to) – http://cl.ly/Mjr1 . There is a lot of content in the import, hence why increased limits are needed.

I’ve tested your theme on my site and I’d like to purchase and use it, but i noticed you’re not using featured images for the post thumbnails, and i realllllly don’t feel like editing 400 posts just to add a thumbnail.
I’s it possible to simply edit the code to use featured images as post thumbs?
Hmm.. Can’t really appreciate the fact that you downloaded the theme illegally – but ok!
We are using featured images as a fallback, best of both worlds. It would be easy to change the files to set the default thumbnail type to image too.

Understood, i blame the internet though. On a new site i would of just purchased the theme.

First, this theme is great.
Second – 2 questions. Since I’m using this for a portfolio, I’m using the portfolio as the home page, and only page. Is there a way to password protect the entire site? Also, is there any way besides changing the dates to reorder the portfolio pieces?

Thanks so much for the theme, it is working out great! I am new to wordpress and have used your demo content as a guide. The one thing that I would like to change is the header and size of the logo that I can use. I see the Clique logo is 260px x 50px, I would ideally like to be able to insert a logo that is 150px in height and would like to adjust the header space accordingly.

The header space will adjust accordingly, up to a max image width of 220px.

The width of the image isn’t the problem, it is the height. Is there any way to increase the height of the header so that a logo with the height of 150px will fit in it without resizing?
If you upload an image that is 150px tall it will show it without resizing it.

One more critical issue for me. The portfolio filter.
In my case each portfolio item has multiple categories. But if I choose category 1, not all items, that belong to category 1, would appear.
The filter only filters items that are shown on the page. If you’d like it to filter all your items, you’ll have to set the number of items on the page to be as many as you have or more.

Sorry, you didn’t get me. And I understood now that my problem is not solved.
Let’s say I have 10 portfolio items and 5 categories.
Each portfolio item belongs to 3 or 5 categories.
It means, when I select category 1, 2 or 3, I expect some items to repeat, because these items belong to all three categories.
However with Clique Filter script, it doesn’t appear in each catergory, it appears just once in one category.
It’s a problem for me

I’m not sure I understand you.. If you have an item that belongs under multiple categories, then it will show for the different filters.

That would require quite a bit of custom work. I’d suggest you try and hire a freelancer if you’re not comfortable doing so yourself. Shouldn’t be more than an hour or two worth of work.

Portfolio Item / Main Detail Options Checked the Full width checkbox to make the images in slider appear fullscreen.
This way the text goes below the fullscreen slider, which is right.
(I have social sharing turned off for now, before I work out how to add more social networks.)
The problem is.
There’s a thin horizontal white line across the whole screen between slider and content below. It doesn’t look good at all. How can I remove this line?

Hey Ed, I’m having a little trouble with the Twitter to blog function. I put the url of the tweet into the post content but the twitter box doesn’t appear in the masonry blog with all the other posts. Instead it just shows the Tweet with no box and/or follow button. How can I fix this so that the tweet ends up on the post page a la the demo site?
All you need to do is make sure that you’re posting the tweet URL on it’s own line, and that it’s not embedded as a clickable link. Also make sure that you select the “status” post format. The rest is automatic.

Sure. The best way to go about it would be to create two parent portfolio categories, then you can separate them by choosing a different category for each page.

1. Can you tell me how I upload an embed code for a VIMEO video.?
I want to have my videos at a specific dimension; so they are 640×360px. Currently I can only upload a video FULL WIDTH or on the left of the page and is squeezes the video making it the wrong aspect.
2. How do I get rid of the date on pages.?

I director TV commercials; so I want to embed a number of videos into separate portfolio pages. I have been able to bring a video into a test page as 16:9 but the theme squeezes it and creates a letterbox; making black bars either side; which isn’t right.
How can I embed and show videos 16:9 (unsqueezed) at 640×360px or larger.?

I will double check but I don’t want the videos in portfolio to be FULL WIDTH.

That is a simple fix, that code will stay when you update the theme. We can’t make the theme ready for every possible user desire, so we have to come as close as we can, then we go out of our way to help people that want it different
