Nice them but your home button on the demo goes to http://localhost/wpmu/gnomist/

:) I made that mistake before too :)

imaginem

Thanks for pointing it out. That’s the localhost server path. Fixed now.

Thanks :)

Are you planning on adding responsiveness?

imaginem

It’s not under development yet. I’ll note this feature.

Hello

Great looking theme. How big do the pictures have to be in the Home page slider? I also assume I can choose to deactivate the widgetized footer as well as the different sections in the home page right? For example, if I only want the slider, the area called “some of our work” and the section “our services” but not the rest would this be possible?

imaginem

Hi,

1. For the featured images you can set a width of 1000px by any height.

2. The mainpage sections can be rearranged as well as switched On/Off.

3. The footer widgets can be switched off via theme options.

4. Yes. You can have the both those sections ‘Some of our work’ and ‘Our Services’ you mentioned with the rest deactivated.

Thanks

Hi,

Great looking Theme. Would you be able to provide XML to get the same version as in the preview??

Cheers

imaginem

Hi,

Yes the XML file is included with the download pack. I’ve included XML files separate for posts, pages, featured and portfolios, and one additional file with everything included. This way you can populate a particular set or everything if preferred.

Thanks

Another knockout marvellous design.

Mondre, please advise whether this is responsive., ie, fits mobile devices.

imaginem

Hi,

The site doesn’t adjust to the resolution as in responsive layouts but it should do well in mobile phone browsers.

Thank you :)

Hi, Nice theme and I’ve just purchased the theme!

I have a question: Somehow I’m not able to show the featured pages in the menu. I’ve added a few new pages, but the only page that is show in the menu is “home”

Please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you.

imaginem

Hi bountygirl72,

Thank you for purchasing the theme.

You can customize the menu using drag and drop from wp-admin Menu builder.

Here’s the Menu User Guide

http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

Same link and screenshots are present in Page 8 of Cobb Help Guide with the download pack.

Let me know if you need more info.

Hello,

Thanks for your quick reply: your solution worked! ;-)

I have 2 other questions: 1. how to add an image to the slider? 2. how to show the images in portfolio? (i’ve added some images, but they do not show)

Thank you.

imaginem

Hi,

Best if you can contact me via my profile with login info. I can create a sample posts and portfolio for you to follow.

Further you can check Help Guide, page 11 and 12 on creating Featured slides. Page 17 and 18 for Portfolios.

Thanks

Hi, how do I reduce the height of the main featured images slideshow? I’ve reduced the physical images and checked all the css, but can’t see how to reduce the background for the slideshow.

imaginem

Hi,

This setting is in theme options in wp-admin , under the respective featured option.

Let me know if you need more info.

Does anyone have a live preview of this theme? And I do not mean the live demo from imaginem.

I consider this theme but would like to buy another version to see the demo.

I have an other question: Is it possible protect images by disable right click. I know it’s not 100%, but it’s a start.

imaginem

Hi,

Yes this can be done by disabling the right click. There’s plugins which can give you this feature from wordpress.org plugins repository. This takes a small addition of javascript to get it done.

Thanks

I’ve already purchased the theme. To begin, it is a very nice theme with lots of possibilities.

Is it possible to set the height in Featured option? I want my pictures in the 3/4 size displayed so they will not cropped.

imaginem

Thanks for purchasing the theme!

You can adjust the featured section height from theme options. There’s a slider in pixel units that you can set to adjust the height.

Let me know if you need more info.

Imaginem,

Thanks for your reaction, for the “security” of the images I use WP-CopyProtect.

I have found the hight option Featured section. If I had looked better, I might have found it by myself.

Thanks again.

I still have a strange problem with the Anything Slider in IE9 . I get vertical navigation dots instead of horizontal navigation dots. In the demo version it works fine in IE9 .

Do you have a solution? or can the navigation dots be turned off?

imaginem

Could you give me the site url to check on this.

Thanks

In the slideshow pictures are scaled (scaled to fit). Is it possible that photographs not be scaled. I can’t use portrait pictures in the slideshow.

imaginem

Hi,

Please provide me a link to the slideshow page. This way i can give an accurate solution.

This may be a really dumb question, and for that I’m sorry but I could really use some help. How can I “set” a particular page to display the built in home page features. All of the features are selected as “on” and I have a home page set up, but I can’t get anything to show up. I’ve looked in the usual places to set a “home” template style within editing a page and there isn’t anything there.

I’ve looked over all the documentation and I can’t seem to find any answer. Could I get some help?

imaginem

Hi,

The homepage is active by default. Could you login to wp-admin

Check > Settings > Readings

The choice selected should be ‘Your latest posts’ , this shows the default page as it’s the default setting chosen by WP.

Let me know if this doesn’t solve it.

Thanks

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I did have a static page assigned as the home page under general settings.

Great theme by the way and thanks again for the support!

imaginem

Good to know it’s working now. :)

One last separate issue I’m running into. I set a background image when I first started messing with the site. I’ve since removed it and it still shows. I don’t have any cache plugins installed and I’ve tried clearing the browsers cache. I’ve also deleted the image that was used from the WP “gallery” of photos i’ve uploaded. Any reason why it would still remain the background? I’ve even reset all the settings. No luck.

imaginem

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. No reason it should show up if the source image has been deleted unless it’s being display from the cache.

If you can provide me a link i can check and give an accurate solution.

Thanks

Imaginem,

Do you have look to my questions?

Thanks

imaginem

Hi,

Could you use the optional thumbnail option for post thumbnail that need extra adjustments. This way you can use a separate image for the portfolio details and thumbnail.

Page 17 of Help Guide displays a screenshot where the option is marked.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks

Hi Mondre,

That theme looks great!

Is it possible to configure the portfolio pages that a click on a thumbnail jumps into a portfolio detail page (instead of opening a lightbox)?

Also, Responsiveness would be an awesome feature.

Thanks, Michael

imaginem

Hi Michael,

Yes that is possible. You can have a lightbox or link to portfolio item using the link option. This directs it to the portfolio details instead of lightbox.

I’ll make note on the responsive feature. Thank you for the suggestion.

Let me know if you need more info

Hi (again)

I have a question: what’s the easiest or fastest way to change the colour of the main text in added pages and the home page?

I’ve chosen the orange theme colour and the text is mainly in a light grey colour, which isn’t easy to read for everyone, so I want to change this colour into black.

Can you help me? Tnx

imaginem

Hi,

You can edit the style.css and change color of the following class

.entry-content, .entry-content p

That’s line 1684

Other classes and elements can be found easily using firebug extension for firefox. Clicking on elements of the theme reveals the class and file with line number to change.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks

Hi,

Really great theme – makes a lot of fun to work with!

Is there any chance to activate a cross-fade effect for the featured slider?

Thanks, Michael

imaginem

Hi Michael,

Yes, that can be done using jquery.

The script is in conditional_featured_scripts.php

Line 152 and 159 can be coded with jquery to have custom transitions. If you can contact a jquery developer on this will be easy.

Thanks
