Yes, you can use the slider for Homepage. This is just a set up in the wordpress settings.

I, too, am seeing the loading circles (using iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1). I’ve been waiting for a theme such as this and I’m on the edge of purchasing. Writing here so that I’m kept up to date for when this is resolved. Has this theme also been tested on Android?

Have you updated your sample theme to the new version? I’m only seeing one “loading circle” now, but it seems to stay there forever and doesn’t go away. This shows on the home page and on the individual project pages once clicked through. I just sent screenshots to your e-mail address.

Slider + Text is currently not possible. Only caption text for each slide.
You can add as much Video-Slides as you want.
