My portfolio has several categories of photos such as ‘natural elements’ and ‘derelict and decay’ so I was wondering if If there was a way of separating them as the portfolio just shows photos but there are no categories.
How it’s packaged… no, there’s no way to separate the portfolio images into sections… it was was made just as a simple slideshow portfolio..
However, there’s always customization that can be done… you may be able to block the group of images into DIVs and float them so that they stay inline…

I’m sorry that you’re annoyed by that… As designers we can’t predict what everyone will use our templates for… we can only create something that is use able in it’s packaged form and for buyers to be able to build on top of it…
If you have any knowledge in HTML , CSS and jQuery it shouldn’t be difficult to make adjustments to suit your needs… if you don’t have that knowledge… it’s best to hire someone for a couple of hours to customize it for you…

Would anyone be able to add an extra page to this template for me for I can put my .swf files into it. I would want it to be simliar (the way it scrolls etc.) to the “portfolio” page only difference is having .swf files in it except for pics and having them play upon clicking and when the user clicks on another part of the page it disappears (just like the portfolio page). Hi, I really like this theme, but am new to using themes and accidentally bought this assuming it would work with wordpress. I’m disappointed to find it doesn’t, but it’s obviously my own fault…lesson learned!
Can anyone recommend any similar themes that do work with wordpress, or (bit of a long shot!) tell me if there’s a way I can make it work?
I’m looking for a theme that has very little content and has a video portfolio feature.

If you’re going to have only a couple of portfolio images, where you don’t need the slider function:
Add this to the bottom of the styles/master.css file:#portfolio-images { text-align:center; }Remove (or comment out) all the HTML inside the “slider-container” DIV right below where you put the portfolio images in the index.html file.
However… if you are using more than 3 images I would not do the second part as people using smaller screen resolution will not be able to search past any of the first 3 portfolio items.

This is just a simple HTML /CSS/JS template… pretty much what you see is what you get…
If you are comfortable with HTML /CSS/JS and maybe a little Photoshop-ing, then adding pages and moving around content shouldn’t be to problematic for you…

PSDs are in the extra/psd directory in you download…
Not sure where to download Helvetica… but you can use Arial which is close to Helvetica…

Hey I have a couple questions..
How can I change the background color? Is it a script? I just want to change the blue to a purple color.
I’m also having problems with the pictures? I tried to just replace the link in the template with the picture I want but it says, “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.”
Also is it possible for the “big” picture in portfolio to be larger then the template one? I’d like my pictures to be as large as the browser..

To change the back ground color… do a search in the style sheet for:
#about-col1 {Inside there is a background-color style and you just need to replace it with the hex color of the color you want.
The pictures don’t seem to be in the correct location on your server, at least not in the path you place in the HTML …
The theme doesn’t allow for the lightbox images to get any larger… this is so they work well on all screen sizes…
Is this template suitable for Smartphone and Iphone please?
