Looks good. Not too easy to use.
Hi – great looking theme- could one of the sections be used for a blog? Like the portfolio section near the bottom?
Hi, thanks. Actually no, blogroll can’t be inside one section except if you make some customization. Standard blog pages exist and they can be linked from anywhere on homepage as they are linked now from portfolio and gallery sections.
I love theme! The only thing I can’t seem to figure out is how to make the individual team member’s section smaller. And by the I mean I want 3 members per row, instead of the standard 2, as we have 9 team members, and scrolling that far is a pain in the butt.
Is that possible?
Hi, that should be possible. Try this – in assets/php/team.php find class “col-lg-6” and replace with “col-lg-3” to get 3 instead of 2 members per row. Instead of the_post_thumbnail(‘team-large’); and the_post_thumbnail(‘team-medium’); add the_post_thumbnail(‘team-small’);. If you still notice that images not scale down properly on smaller resolution then try to change “add_image_size( ‘team-small’, 280, 9999 );” in functions.php, for example add 220 for image size instead of 280.
actually for 3 members per row add class “col-lg-4”. in that case I think you shouldn’t change anything in functions.php
Before buying it I’d like to know if it is possible:
- activate the effects animations from the HTML5 version
- change the homepage products list with the Categories list
Hi, thank you.
1. No hidden effect in theme – what you see is what you get.
2. Unfortunately no it is not possible without additional customization.
Before I purchase I want to know how this theme responds to SEO. I’ve seen some successful parallax sites use an anchor link on their parallax sections to create “new” pages for SEO. Is there a way to do this? Or any suggestions on how to incorporate this with good SEO practices? This is important because the website I want to redesign to this theme has well established SEO and I don’t want to lose their rankings.
Hi and thanks for interest in my theme.
I’m not SEO expert but I can confirm you that page sections and parallax sections are separated post types. You can add or remove parallax section for every page. I just tested theme and can say that every custom post (eg team, gallery etc) has it’s page where only one post is visible. Link for that page can be visited from dashboard for parallax and page sections too but unfortunately it doesn’t display that parallax or page section. Maybe it’s something in theme dashboard settings I am not sure but that’s what I see now.
The idea you told me is really good and I will try to achieve that in next update whether it’s problem with theme or just dashboard settings.
