I´m having trouble installing the theme on wordpress… When I put “upload theme” it shows me this following message:
“Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
How should I procced? How do I get this stylesheet?
Have you extract our zip package you’ve download from Themeforest before? If you don’t, please extract the package from themeforest first, then you’ll find it inside THEME folder in zip. Upload it (zip file inside THEME folder) again through your dashboard and you’ll be fine.

but it didn’t work!! I changed all the #colors to #000000 (because i want it to be black) but it doesnt change anything…

I saw that – but that’s the full version. That means i’ll have to replace the theme that I have installed months ago! – which means all settings that I have will be gone once replaced with the new version of the theme. Do you have an update that I can apply to the current installed version?
Did you mean settings you save in the Theme Options, or the files in the theme that you have modified?
If you mean the Theme Options setting, don’t worry, it will still work on the new version.
If you’re talking about modified theme, then we’re really sorry that it will of course replace the previous version.
We recommend you take notes of your modification in the previous theme and create back up of it.
After you installed the new theme, you can apply your modification again.
Or it is recommended that you create a Child Theme based on Commerce as Parent Theme.
In this way, everytime you update the Parent Theme, you won’t lose your modifications.

You can find it under the theme folder which has the name
commerce-child/You can start using it as your base Child Theme for Commerce.

I was looking to create a website on the topic of Pipes like half pipe. Does your theme support back end operations other than us? What about plugins?

Commerce is actually only a WordPress Theme, means that we put our consideration mainly on how your site is going to look.
But the functionality of the site, or in your term, back end operation, is mainly handled by the core WordPress.
We noticed that the sample site you’re giving to us is an e-commerce site. To achieve this, you’ll have to install an additional e-commerce plugin for your WordPress site.
We recommend to use WooCommerce http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/ and Commerce has fully supported this plugin. You can see at our demo here: http://demo.nesia.me/?theme=commerce to see if the theme suffice your requirement.
If you’re looking at another similar theme which support WooCommerce, we also recommend Shoppinggo http://themeforest.net/item/shoppinggo-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/4571164But of course, the choice is in your hands

FYI – The current script.js in the commerce-child/js has bugs and should be updated to reflect the one in the parent theme or just load the parent theme version and remove it from the child. Product sliders are broken until one figures out that it is not the same version as the parent even though it says 1.0 also.

I would like to use Shop Masonry for my site just to showcase a pinterest like ecommerce site but the thumbnail isn’t showing up and I tried to find various tutorial on the web and their steps doesn’t really reflect exactly the file name as in the theme so I have trouble setting up WP Post thumbnails.
Do you have a more detailed doucumentation on how to set up the thumbnails step by step ?

Hi, I have a pre-order question. Does the theme support standalone ‘registration page’ and ‘my account’ page? since i didn’t see any from the demo. And also how about ‘track my order’ page? I see these pages in other themes but not in your theme. Love your theme btw

I deployed Commerce 1.1.3 several months ago and now I want to upgade it to 1.3.1. However, I want to keep previous configuration. How can I do it?

Have you modified the theme files? If not, then you are safe to upgrade.
Your configuration (by “configuration” here, we assume you mean your Theme Options setting) will not lose when you upgrade your theme.
However, we still recommend you to back up your old themes and WordPress site before you upgrade any of your themes, plugins and core WordPress installation.

I have tried to upload the zip file by ftp and renamed the old folder to commerceold. However, by doing that, I lose my homepage: images in the slider don’t appear any longer, featured products are not there, etc. Any suggestions?
