Hi, I have two more questions
is there any way how can i add this to a top menu?: http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/snippets/display-my-account-link-in-a-template-file/ simply when user is not logged in in menu there will be: Login or Register, and when user is logged in there will be My Account.Next question how can I add to preddefined My Account page register or login with Facebook?
Thank you for help!
I checked THIS
Compatible Browsers IE8 , IE9, Firefox 4, Safari 5, Opera, Chrome
Looks like you are not going to refund my payment. So I will open a dispute in Paypal over your crappy theme.
Have you try the solution i gave it to you in my previous comment?
one more question
i found that there is no simple way to show on home page some choosed products or post (i´m using for home page custom created Page with template “template-home-all.php” and i tried to use shortcode to show products or post by category which have to be on home page but it still show all content), so maybe is there way how to show my desired products, post on home page by editing this file template-home-all.php and add there a filter to query only post, products by category or maybe better by a tag (cause categories are different for products and post). So can you please tell me what i need to change or add in that file ? Or is there more simple way?
Hola Lukaydo,
You must modify the code with query_posts(). You can learn how to filter the posts or products here http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/query_posts
Cheers!
and could you help me with code ? I think it´s quite easy but it doesn´t work for me, i need this to work query post and product in category with ID 184 and product category with ID 184 i have this:
$args = array( ‘post_type’ => array(‘post’, ‘product’), ‘paged’ => $paged, ‘cat’ => 184, ‘product_cat’ => 184);
if i query only this: ‘cat’ => 184 – it is working than if query only this: ‘product_cat’ => 184 – it is not working, no product from that category is showed, and if it will be working how can i add OR between this arguments to this code: $args = array( ‘post_type’ => array(‘post’, ‘product’), ‘paged’ => $paged, ‘cat’ => 184 OR ‘product_cat’ => 184); i don´t see it in wordpress codex
thanks for your help
Mate.
Show me the code, does it possible for me too look at it online? Try http://codepad.org/ or similar code hosted so we can quick analyze the code from yours. Posting in here is quite hard to understand. Thanks and we’re looking forward for this one, could be useful for others.
Gracias!
here it is: http://codepad.org/Piz2KEBn
it´s practicaly the same as “template-home-all.php” file in your theme, only change is in that query_posts, because i need only some products to be showed on homepage, so i created category “homepage” in posts and also in products, so the posts and products in that category will be showed on homepage. This way I think is the simplest. But it doesnt work for products, posts are ok.
Or do you need access to wordpress dashboard ?
Mate, try this code.
Use this code as arguments for query_posts()
$args = array( 'post_type' => array('post', 'product'), 'paged' => $paged, 'tax_query' => array( 'relation' => 'OR', array( 'taxonomy' => 'category', 'field' => 'slug', 'terms' => 'homepage' // Category slug ), array( 'taxonomy' => 'product_cat', 'field' => 'slug', 'terms' => 'kids' // Product category slug ) ) );You can see full documentation here
Thank you, you are perfect
It´s working!
Hi there,
Just a little request.
On the homepage where the categories are listed by their thumbnails, near the bottom of the page, when I mouse over the thumbnails, it shows the description of the categories in a black box.
I love this feature so much. Is it possible to make the whole of this black box clickable?
Right now, only the title area of this black box (at the top) is clickable.
Thanks for you help!
Mate, it’s easy.
Hit me through contact form on our profile page when you’re ready. Note: it just works for category, we’re taking benefit from one of woocommerce features.
Thank you for stopping by.
Hello, I have sent a couple of emails. I am really struggling with the sluggishness of this theme. Each edit takes a minimum of 30-45 seconds. The site hosted by GoDaddy and their main site works just fine. It’s just the wordpress portion that is monsterously slow. The new site we’re building is at http://aarongalleries.com/new/
Additionally, the images in the posts do not open into a lightbox but rather open a new page which is not what the demo shows. How do I get the post images to open in the lightbox?
One more problem I forgot to mention. The posts in the categories are using the thumbnail image but it they keep displaying the big image anyway (and stretching it in some cases which is not good for art). Why are the categories not showing the thumbnail image as I am specifying. Here is an example:
http://aarongalleries.com/new/category/medium/prints/Already assigned each of them to handle. Thanks
Any word on these two issues yet? Client is waiting. Thanks.
My team has got a question about WP Account. Do you receive that mail? If not, give me your WP Account.
Did not receive any emails from you. Not sure what you mean by WP account. If you’re asking for admin to the WP account I can do that but not on a public forum. I’d need an email to send that to.
you can send it to support@nesia.me mate.
Cheers!
Hola,
I have checked your post. That post doesn’t have any image. That’s right? I think you can add an image for that post. I mean this post http://aarongalleries.com/new/margaret-burroughs-riding-together/
Hi again,
Unfortunately you completely missed the point of my question and I’m not sure why you went to the post when I was trying to have you look at the category as a whole. Hmmm. I think we perhaps need to get on the phone as this is taking a long time. First, I’ll to try to restate it again. I am creating an art gallery with thumbnail images. However when you click to the category pages the thumbnail images do not come in as thumbnail images even though I have chosen them to be thumbnails. I cannot have people scrolling down 8 pages to look at photos when they should be easily viewable as thumbnails for each artwork (in categories).
Here is another example link, notice that the thumbnail images are not thumbnails but huge, full-size pictures (which I have not chosen):
http://aarongalleries.com/new/category/artists/david-cantine/Additionally if I go to an individual post page and click on the thumbnail it does not open the image into a lightbox but rather opens a new page which is completely different than your demo site. What do I need to do to get the thumbnails to open into a lightbox instead. I really need to get this resolved (both issues please). Thanks.
Hello waterwalk, sorry for previous comments. I’ll try to assist you again.

Answer: At first I see your pages, you point me to your blog page, not a product page. That’s why the image comes with full size, just because on our blog page (demo site) it is exactly full size image as featured image. You can see it here http://demo.nesia.me/wp/commerce/blog/ take a look at our post sample called “Sample image for blog”. It is the same like you have on your site.

It’s on the blog page, mate. Just like we have here http://demo.nesia.me/wp/commerce/category/image/ same like you have on your link above.

Answer: Yes, because there are no lightbox for image on blog page/section. Lightbox if for product section, they have the thumbnails and have lightbox when each thumbnail get clicked on it. Take a look at this page http://demo.nesia.me/wp/commerce/shopping/sample-product-with-attributes/ it is different within link to your page, as you give me above. Both.
Thank you so much and do not hesitate to buzz me again, mate.
Many of these are not going to be for sale so I didn’t want to have to have a ‘buy’ button. Plus, when I tried to do a custom category page with Woo Commerce it didn’t work at all so that’s why I was just using regular blog instead. How can I change the default for the blog then? And is there a way to make these blog thumbnails open into a lightbox? It seems so strange that that would not be the default. I’ve built over 30 wordpress sites and have never seen a thumbnail open into a separate page by itself.
Or maybe if you don’t want users to scroll down just to see your image what it looks like, you can make your blog post just like pinterest then set it as page/homepage then assign it into your primary menu, on top of your page.
That’s all and good to hear something from you!
It seems so strange that that would not be the default. I’ve built over 30 wordpress sites and have never seen a thumbnail open into a separate page by itself.
Answer: Yeah, because we already have a large size picture when featured image is set for blog section and we also have a slider for that in large size image, too. If we don’t have it yet, then we might be use lightbox for that. Make sure you set image as featured image.
Thanks for the comments. I may just have to go back to using the woocommerce instead. I kept getting an error every time I tried to go to a category page with that installed unfortunately. So it appears whichever way I go there will have to be some troubleshooting.
Yeah, just let us know if you need some help about it. Thank you, mate.
Hi, I recently bought this theme and found it great for me, but I have a problem installing it. When I install the theme everything works OK and I can customize it fine, but when I install Woocommerce 1.6.5.2 plugin it won’t activate, nor Jigoshop plugin. This is on a fresh Wordpress 3.4.2. I tried the other way around as well: on a fresh WordPress installation installed Woocommerce, no problem on the default theme (twenty eleven or twenty ten), but when I installed and activated this theme a memory limit error appeared: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/sydneyci/public_html/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 547 and I couldn’t access the dashboard. the domain is sydneycityled.com.au
I appreciate any quick response.
Hola,
Please send your WP Account here http://themeforest.net/user/nesia. We will help you for install this
Cheers!
Thanks Nesia for the reply. Already sent the details to you…
Hi there,
Thanks so much for your help so far.
I have another minor issue which has been frusturating me for some hours now. Please take a look at these pages: http://66.147.244.143/~katcdesi/shop/product-category/handbags-and-totes/page/3/ http://66.147.244.143/~katcdesi/shop/ http://66.147.244.143/~katcdesi/shop/product-category/lifestyle/The products refuse to line up no matter what I do. I have made sure all the product images are the same sizes (360×410 pixels) but this doesn’t help.
Any ideas what I can do to make sure all rows line up properly?
Thank for your help!
Support team still workin on it since your last email, it takes more time to solved. Thank you, mate!
Hi,
Thanks for your earlier support. The problem was from server as you said. I am still discovering your theme but to be honest I quit like it. Today I noticed that the 3D slider doesn’t work properly in windows explorer 9.0 (to be exact it only shows the front image and the other two are hidden and there is no transition effect). I don’t have older IE but can you also make sure that it works with them too. Thanks
Hi,
The 3d slider effect only work on modern browser like, google chrome and mozilla firefox. IE9 and lower does not support 3d transition effect. The slider still work on IE, but the effect only fade in and fade out.
Do we have to manually integrate woocommerce plugin, or we can just install the woocommerce plugin, and it will work out of the box?
Just install woocommerce plugin and you’re ready to start selling, mate. If you need documentation about woocommerce, woothemes already have it for every user http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/
BTW , very nice theme
Lot of possibilities for customization..
Hi Nesia,
Again wonderful theme, I only have one problem with my site: The search results are not showing up. Just the header, subnav and title show up, even the footer is disappeared. Any idea how to fix this problem? You can see for yourself: http://pcgamepoints.com/
I think you’ve missed lines of code while customize your site, probably. Have you check/compare with the original search.php that comes within the original theme package, mate? Got something else? Hit us through contact form on our profile page.
Thank you so much!

Hello, i need to know whether i can replace the current homepage slider with a custom slider, viz-a-viz , Layerslider WP in codecanyon.
I need to do this without any coding mumbo jumbo. So is the slider position, actually a widget area (or a page function). If so, is it easy to substitute with that slider i mentioned?
If you need that without any coding mumbo jumbo, then you have nothing to do with the slider. You will add few more lines of code, for sure. And make sure across device and make it fit with the slider style from codecanyon.
So, this silder, is not a widgetised area in your theme?
PS: That slider is already responsive-out-of-the-box. it just needs a widget area, or it can be put into the template with php tags.
Yep, it’s a function instead widget.
So your slider just needs a widget area? Then you should call it as a widget using the_widget($widget, $instance, $args); from WordPress, take a look more detail here http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_widget you could call any widget, anywhere inside your template.
One more question, Can I echo the slider (full) somewhere on my shop page? Thank you so much!
Hmm. Echo? Do you mean display the slider on your shop page? Well, by default you can’t. But I think you can do some custom, just extract the slider structure then put it on your shop page manually.
Hi Nesia,
Thank you for your theme, its really fantastic!
Is there any possibility to let the users buy every downloadable item once and then get it every time in an extra menu? Or when he go to the item, he sees not anymore an addtocartbutton, then he sees only an downloadnowbutton? That would be really great!
Thanks for your time, lemonjoe
Hi Joe!
Well, basically it could be done by some custom code. Not sure, cause we haven’t tried with that kind of workflow and this theme just using standard hook method for woocommerce and wordpress. By default, woocommerce can’t do that workflow for downloadable item, mate.
Hello, I have written several times I know trying to get this theme working. I tried your latest suggestion and went back again to using the woocommerce area for trying to get our art pieces listed as products and am running into another error unfortunately. I contact woocommerce and they looked at it and said that it is an issue with your theme. If you go to this page you will see the error:
http://aarongalleries.com/new/shop/product-category/artists/Fatal error: Call to a member function is_visible() on a non-object in /home/content/a/a/r/aarongal/html/new/wp-content/themes/ArtGallery/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php on line 21
This has really taken a long time to get up and running correctly compared to most other themes. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. Thank you.
Hola mate,
Ahh I see.. that because your theme still using 1.1.3 version. This version support for WooCommerce 1.5.x version not 1.6.x version. We have update on this. But will take a longer time for checking this theme from ThemeForest. You can downgrade WooCommerce into 1.5.8 or you can contact us on here http://themeforest.net/user/Nesia for upgrade the themes.
Cheers!
Hello:
My name is Sergi and I have just bought your theme called “Commerce WordPress Theme” version 1.3.3. I have installed WooCommerce 1.6 and I have already typed most of my content. The theme is not working and I have seen a post explaining that that version is not compliance with WooCommerce 1.6. Please, could you send me the correct version of your theme? I have already sent you an email.
Hola Sergi,
You can contact us via form here http://themeforest.net/user/Nesia
Cheers!
In fact, my problem is that images does not appear on the shop as you can see at http://www.curulina.com
