Compound - Minimalist Business & Portfolio Theme

I’m having a similar issue as well. Just purchased, installed and there’s an empty style.css file, as well as the options and settings panels are looking really strange and distorted. Can you please assist? Thank you!

How can I remove the floating menu at the leftm, the one that say Buy templates and gives you colors and options?

Just downloaded and installed your theme, which I like the looks of. I’m getting these warnings/errors on the Compound > Compound Options. Can you shed some light on this?

edit: looks like this is a problem with the php.ini file on the host server. I don’t think they’ll turn the allow_url_fopen set to on, so is there a way around this error?

This is a great looking theme, but I’m pretty frustrated with the issues I’m having.

- Nivo slider works great, then just disappears. Can’t get it back. - Setting the Settings > Reading > Front page display to static page and “Home Page Content” does not display the home page content, even though there is content in the page. Setting it to any other page works, but home page does not. - When I drop the css into the styles.css editor I get an error that “the theme does not exist.”

Hopefully I’ll hear back from you with a support forum login.

Just purchased theme and no css, blank theme shows up??? Also can you simply explain the process for uploading the theme (I tried several variations FTP , File manager,) Your video starts with the theme already uploaded. Is there a current fix for the (broken CSS ) file you can send? Thank you

I’ve just purchased and downloaded and tried to install the compound.zip file inside the initital zip from within WP without success.

Then, I ftp (via Dreamweaver) to the WP/themes folder.

Notice, afterwards the styles.css file was empty, so I downloaded the .css file you posted on this forum…open it and it appeared to be okay. Then, I uploaded to where the empty .css was.

There appear to be other issues, I have “deactivate and activated” Compound several times. I’m now going to uninstall Wordpress and reinstall everything…

Ususally, I can install the theme from within WP, but could not with Compound. Message read “Do you really want to do this?” to please try again…but it didn’t work.

I know I wasn’t to try and upload the entire zip as it was downloaded from themeforest…I extracting the files and uploaded the compound.zip within Compound/WP.

Please confirm.

After uninstalling WP/Compound, then started with a clean install of WP and uploaded Compound folder via ftp/Dreamweaver, I was able to successfully active Compound.

Do you have a sample page of the Title Fonts listed in the Appearance section of the Admin panel?

Though I’m extremely loving the theme itself, it would be useful to have a page were I can “visually” see samples of each fonts.

1. What is the original #Hex color for the following, in the Appearance Settings:

/Main Content (Inner)/Main Background Color

2. I changed the color, but didn’t like it, and did not record the original Hex#. I checked the stylesheet and other .php files, without success.

So, in addtion to replying with the Hex#, Can you tell me exactly where to find it within the stylesheet?

Though the .css is very organize, I’m not showing style description for #main-content-inner-background (perhaps).

fantastic theme. one questions. all the title and menu fonts are capitalized. We would like all headers and menus, and titles on our site to be all lower case. How could i edit this? can you direct me to the code i would need to change for this?

I purchased this Theme a while ago and finally found the perfect use for it and wanted to say that it is the best WP theme I’ve purchased yet! So many features and they all work great. Great job!
