Hey Matt,

Just a couple of questions if that’s OK?

1. Is there a way to remove the lines under Heading, or change the font size 2. Is there way to center the custom logo, or is there a optimum size to make the logo so it always covers the whole width of the active page?

Many thanks

Hi Matt, any chance you could get back to me this week? We’re planning to launch next week! best regards, Matt

Sorry for the delay. I don’t check here often these days.

Anyway, for number 1, if you’re referring to the double border under page and post headings, add the following to the CSS tab in Theme Options to remove it.

.single article h1.pagetitle {
    padding-bottom: 0;
    font-size: 3.6em;
    border-bottom: none;

Change the font size to whatever you want. 3.6em = 36px

2. Yes, this is possible with a bit more custom CSS.

#logo-custom {
    float: none;
    width: 120px;
    margin: 0 auto;

You’ll need to change the width value to the width of your logo. If you want to make it full-width, the logo should be 960px wide.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Matt. That seem to have solved my problems.

Hey Matt -

Looking at Conduit for a video contest site. The review fields are perfect for displaying the stats after we do our judging.

Currently, we use Gravity Forms to build our entry form – it sends us the actual entry, and populates a post with all of the necessary details for the video. Have you tested Conduit with Gravity Forms? Are there any strange post types or taxonomies that you don’t see in off the shelf Wordpress? If not, have you considered adding something like this to the theme?

No, I haven’t tested Gravity Forms. It should work fine, but you’ll have to use the default GF styles.

There are no custom post types or taxonomies in Conduit. It uses standard posts and custom fields for the review data. As such, you will be able to have those fields populated by GF data by using custom field inputs in your form.

Hi Matt,

Can you update the changelog for the latest version so I can see what changed? Its difficult to tell if the latest update is likely to break child themes or plugins that are build on this theme.

Just did. Mostly just a security update, but I also replaced IcoMoon icons with Font Awesome.

Great, thank you!

Lost my stars for reviews after latest update.

Thank for the quick response. I was able to update to 1.2.1 but now the stars only appear when I am logged in. If I log out, they disappear

I’m seeing the stars on your site here, and obviously I’m not logged in. Maybe you’re caching an older version of the stylesheet. Try holding down the shift key while hitting the refresh button in your browser.

Yes, thank you…

Hi, cool theme. I’m trying to set it up.

The front page new posts have a bugged page navigation. Here’s the screenshot:

Sorry about that. This happened in the latest release. I’ll get an update out soon to correct it. In the meantime, you could use the WP-PageNavi plugin. I recommend people use that over the default pagination links anyway.
