Installed the DataTools plugin. I’ve managed to replicate the ‘tools’ button as seen in your examples, but whenever I click on the button the screen fades as if a modal was being opened up and the drop down options are not clickable (focus goes onto this new layer).

Also, the print option does not remove the header and sidebar from the screen.

Other than that it pretty much works. I noticed you already have the js and css for datatools present. Is it possible to supply correct values?

keenthemes

Hi,

Sorry for confusing you with Metronic theme. Actually it applies for Conquer as well. DT_bootrap.css and DT_bootstrap.js are datatable configuration for Bootstrap framework and datatools plugin requires further integration with Conquer. We will be working on this and implement it in a future release soon. Stay tuned.

Thanks.

Default-user

thanks… do you have any timeframe on this?

keenthemes

At the moment we can’t confirm the ETA yet. However we will try to include it in the next update. Stay tuned!

Hi Is Conquer compatible with Metronic? In other words, can I use Metronic FRont end with Conquer Admin? Regards,

keenthemes

Hi :),

Sure, the Metronic frontend is a separate theme so you can use it with Conquer as well.

Please let me know if you need any further clarification.

Thanks.

Hi, What is the difference between the 2 folders: template_content vs template_content_rtl

Regards,

Jacques

keenthemes

Hi :),

I guess you wanted to post this comment for our Metronic theme. But your comment posted on your Conquer theme. Is ok. You can get the reply here.

Metronic has 2 versions. default(template_content) and RTL . RTL is right to left writing mode for languages such as Arabic.

Please let me know if you need any further clarifications.

Thanks.

Can you point me in the right direction for adding a custom js function? I was able to add a few others, but for some reason this one is not working properly. Is this the correct format for your custom js init method when a value is passed?

var Custom = function () { // private functions & variables // dropdown menu anchor jump var scrollTo = function scrollTo(target) { var targetPosition = $(target).offset().top; $('html,body').animate({ scrollTop: targetPosition}, 'slow'); } // public functions return { //main function init: function () { //initialize something here scrollTo(target); // dropdown menu anchor jump } }; }();
Default-user

thanks… I was able to use

onChange="App.scrollTo($(this.value))"

for a drop down menu that jumps to. Does the built-in function provide setting an offset? Due to having a fixed header I noticed the actual scroll location is going to far.
Default-user

nevermind…

onChange="App.scrollTo($(this.value), offset)"

keenthemes

Yeah. That’s right :).

Liking the latest release! I noticed with the Draggable Portlets page, if you move all the portlets from the first column, to the 2nd column, you can no longer move a portlet back to the first column (this is true for all columns on this page but just wanted to give an example of the issue). Any ideas if it’s a bug or it’s supposed to be like that?

keenthemes

Hi,

Please note this is a known bug of jQueryUI Sortable plugin. We are still struggling to find a workaround as the official fix is not released yet. Hopefully we can solve this as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Default-user

Thanks for the quick response and update; I appreciate it! Looking forward to future releases; this template works really well for us. :)

keenthemes

You are most welcome! Glad to hear that :)

+1 on the latest release. The addition of the session and idle timers is very useful! The font-awesome icons have some incorrect values on the ui_buttons page that might confuse some people… fa-clock-o”s for example. Any update on datatools integration?

keenthemes

Hi :),

Thanks for the comment. We will check it further and correct it in the next update.

The datatools integration will be coming soon. Hopefully we can attend to it asap. Stay tuned.

Thanks.

This might be a little off topic, but maybe you can help. I am using jquery load for loading a remote file into a div. Since the contents of the div are loaded with ajax there are certain js components not working. I have managed to fix uniform and select2 elements with some jquery after the load, but cannot get tooltips working again. Is there a similar call I can make to initialize the tooltips for the remote contents?

$('#show_comps').load('/process/show_comps.php', function() { $('#show_comps input').uniform(); $('#show_comps select').select2(); })
keenthemes

Hi :),

You can use App.initAjax() function(defined in assets/scripts/app.js) to reinitialize the core components after ajax completed:

$('#show_comps').load('/process/show_comps.php', function() {
   App.initAjax();
   $('#show_comps select').select2();
});

Please note, App.initAjax() initializes the core components. The rest of plugins you will need initialize separately as select2 plugin.

Thanks.

Default-user

Works as expected… this will really help out. note that select2 dropdowns are handled in the core as well so that line is not needed. Thanks.

keenthemes

Thats’ great! You are most welcome.

Yeah, correct, in the core we added the basic select2 setup. But for more advance select2 setup you will need to have your own code.

Ran into another problem that I didn’t realize until someone else pointed it out.

For the login form I am using php to validate inputs on post with the database and if true redirect them to their account and if not show the page. This works as expected when I actually mouse-click the submit button, but does not work if I use the keyboard. Two things seem to be the problem.

First I need to post to self using

<form class="login-form" action="/" method="post">

and second the login.js for keyboard…

$('.login-form input').keypress(function (e) { if (e.which == 13) { if ($('.login-form').validate().form()) { $('.login-form').submit(); } return false; } });
keenthemes

Hi :),

So you are validation the form in the server side ? if yes, you just need to disable/remove the frontend validation and use following code:

$('.login-form input').keypress(function (e) {
    if (e.which == 13) {
        $('.login-form').submit();
        return false;
    }
});

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks.

Default-user

I found the problem. The button you use to submit the form must have name=”submit” attr. I had changed this to something else and it caused problems. Everything as it was out of the box now works as expected.

keenthemes

Great! Glad that you managed to solve it. Good luck with your project! :)

Just wanted to say, really great theme! I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit thus far. Was a bit worried it wouldn’t receive as much update wise as Metronic, but your most recent update brought it pretty well in line. Thank you for that! Code looks fairly well done.

keenthemes

Hi :),

Many thanks for the comment. This is not the last one. More amazing updates planed for the future. Stay tuned and follow us on http://twitter.com/keenthemes

Thanks.

Last question for awhile I hope… sorry for all of these. Can’t seem to get uniform elements styled properly inside ajax modals.

If you add a checkbox to your ui_modals_ajax_sample.html page you will see what I mean. I’ve tried using the App.initAjax(); you mentioned before in various ways with no results.

<input type="checkbox" name="test" checked>
keenthemes

Hi :),

Just go to assets/scripts/app.js and change handleSelect2 function code as shown below(just change the selector to: select.select2me):

    var handleSelect2 = function() {
        if (jQuery().select2) {
            $('select.select2me').select2({
                placeholder: "Select",
                allowClear: true
            });
        }
    }

We will include this fix in the next update as well.

Thanks.

Default-user

Thanks!

Trying to have an icon on the left of an input and a button on the right. I have done this as shown below.

Is there a way to do this with the input-icon rather than input-group? I have not been able to get this working and wanted the ‘plain’ icon rather than one with a background coloring to it.

<div class="col-md-5">
    <div class="input-group">
        <span class="input-group-addon">
            <i class="fa fa-lock fa-fw" />
        </span>
        <input id="newpassword" class="form-control" type="text" name="password" placeholder="password"/>
        <span class="input-group-btn">
            <button id="genpassword" class="btn btn-success" type="button"><i class="fa fa-arrow-left fa-fw" /> Random</button>
        </span>
    </div>
</div>
keenthemes

Hi :),

Please try below code:

<div class="input-group">
    <div class="input-icon" >
        <i class="fa fa-lock fa-fw"></i>
         <input id="newpassword" class="form-control" type="text" name="password" placeholder="password" style="border-radius: 4px 0 0 4px;"/>
    </div>
    <span class="input-group-btn">
        <button id="genpassword" class="btn btn-success" type="button"><i class="fa fa-arrow-left fa-fw" /></i> Random</button>
    </span>
</div>
<pre>

Thanks.</pre>

Works… I was under the impression it was built in so didn’t think to use css – just figured my layout was wrong. Thanks. Any news for TableTools yet?

keenthemes

Great :) You are most welcome. The tabletools integrating should be coming soon. Please stay tuned.

Hello! I just bought Conquer. Hope you continue to update Conquer!

Is there any function(css class) that aligns elements in the middle of the page (horizontally and vertically)?

keenthemes

Hi :),

Thanks for the purchase. Yes, sure. We will be updating Conquer continuously.

Aligning the elements horizontally and vertically is not a common task. It depends on your page structure and the element itself. Please give us more details and we will try to point you out.

Thanks.

There are too many CSS files I need to import. Could you explain What these CSS files do?
  • assets/css/style-conquer.css
  • assets/css/style.css
  • assets/css/style-responsive.css
  • assets/css/plugins.css
  • assets/css/pages/tasks.css
  • jquery-1.10.2.min.js
  • jquery-migrate-1.2.1.min.js
  • jquery-ui-1.10.3.custom.min.js
  • twitter-bootstrap-hover-dropdown.min.js
  • jquery.slimscroll.min.js
  • jquery.blockui.min.js
  • jquery.cokie.min.js
  • jquery.uniform.min.js
I don’t wanna import all CSS files for every single pages. (What if I just want to use buttons. What should I import?)

Also, I expected the documentation page like Bootstrap (http://getbootstrap.com/css/). Hope you make the documentation page more easy to read and use (and LESS support!).

Thank you so much! :)

keenthemes

Hi :),

The minimum required css and js files to include you can see in layout_blank_page.html. So you should at least include below css and js files:

<!-- BEGIN GLOBAL MANDATORY STYLES -->
<link href="assets/plugins/font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/plugins/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/plugins/uniform/css/uniform.default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<!-- END GLOBAL MANDATORY STYLES -->
<!-- BEGIN THEME STYLES -->
<link href="assets/css/style-metronic.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/css/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/css/style-responsive.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/css/plugins.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<link href="assets/css/themes/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" id="style_color"/>
<link href="assets/css/custom.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
<!-- END THEME STYLES -->

<!-- BEGIN JAVASCRIPTS(Load javascripts at bottom, this will reduce page load time) -->
<!-- BEGIN CORE PLUGINS -->
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
   <script src="assets/plugins/respond.min.js"></script>
   <script src="assets/plugins/excanvas.min.js"></script>
   <![endif]-->
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery-1.10.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery-migrate-1.2.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<!-- IMPORTANT! Load jquery-ui-1.10.3.custom.min.js before bootstrap.min.js to fix bootstrap tooltip conflict with jquery ui tooltip -->
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery-ui/jquery-ui-1.10.3.custom.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/bootstrap/js/bootstrap.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/bootstrap-hover-dropdown/twitter-bootstrap-hover-dropdown.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery-slimscroll/jquery.slimscroll.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery.blockui.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/jquery.cokie.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="assets/plugins/uniform/jquery.uniform.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<!-- END CORE PLUGINS -->
<script src="assets/scripts/core/app.js"></script>

Also you can optimize the files by combining all the js and css files into one single file(all.js and all.css) in your server side.

You can check out http://rakaz.nl/code/combine and http://www.phpdevtips.com/2011/10/using-php-to-merge-and-minify-css-and-javascript/

We have plans to improve the documentation and provide the less files in the neat future.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Great theme works very well. I do however have a question about the sidebar menu. I’m using PHP to build the sidebar dynamically depending what page you are on. Basically all this is doing is supplying the “active” CLASS to the list-item that requires it.

Some of my nav items have 4 levels. The issue is that when the “active” CLASS is supplied to the “second level” list-item, all “third level” groups are auto expanded revealing the “fourth level items”. So basically its expanding everything below that “second level” list-item.

I realize that the multi-level navigation is somewhat new, but is there a way to alter the javascript so that the “third-level” list-item groups do not expand unless they too have the “active” class?

Example:
What currently happens:
1 – Home
1 – About
1 – Settings (class=”active”)
   2 – Overview
   2 – Tickets (class=”active”)
     3 – Overview (class=”active” this is the page the user is on)
     3 – Old Tickets
       4 – User Submitted
       4 – Staff Submitted
       4 – Anonymous
     3 – Open Tickets
       4 – User Submitted
       4 – Staff Submitted
       4 – Anonymous
     3 – New Tickets
   2 – Privacy
   2 – Mail
   2 – Purchases
1 – Contact
1 – Store

Desired Effect:

1 – Home
1 – About
1 – Settings (class=”active”)
   2 – Overview
   2 – Tickets (class=”active”)
     3 – Overview (class=”active” this is the page the user is on)
     3 – Old Tickets (has sub-menu)
     3 – Open Tickets (has sub-menu)
     3 – New Tickets
   2 – Privacy
   2 – Mail
   2 – Purchases
1 – Contact
1 – Store

Thanks for your time.

keenthemes

Hi :),

Thanks for the comment.

Is there a way to check your working website ? Could you give us a link ? I checked it in our side and it looks the menu action states works as expected. I just need to check your generated code in order to advise you further. You can send the further details to our support at support@keenthemes.com

Thanks.

Default-user

I’m working on a local server right now. I’ll configure my outward facing server this weekend and upload my work so we can troubleshoot. In the mean time I’ll email you the code for the menu. Maybe you’ll be able to point out an ah ha.

keenthemes

Noted. We will check your email and reply you shortly :)

Hello; I working with purchased conquer theme for my friend. And have problem with popover/tooltips.

In my code I load external file with ajax: jquery.load('my-file.php'); And when I use class="popover", or class="tooltips" in my-file.php than popover not working.

Is there any solution to get it work?

Or should I load some jquery scripts in my-file.php?

Thank you.

keenthemes

Hi :),

After you loaded the ajax content you have to reinitialize the popovers & tooltips using below JS code:

// here goes your my-file.php script generated content
<script>
        jQuery(document).ready(function() {
              App.initAjax();
        });
</script>

Also make sure you use “popovers” and “tooltips” classes.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks.

Default-user

Hi, nice theme.

I need to know how can I reload the data inside of this portlet:

<div class="portlet"> <div class="portlet-title"> <div class="caption"> <i class="fa fa-ticket" /> <?php echo $translate->__("Add new Clinic's Offer"); ?> </div> <div class="tools"> <a href="assets/common/offer.php" class="reload"></a> <a href="" class="remove"></a> </div> </div> <div class="portlet-body" id="offer"> <?php include('assets/common/offer.php'); ?> </div> </div>

the ajax loader show but I dont know how make the refresh it… can you xplain me or show me an example, please?

Best Regards!

keenthemes

Hi :),

Please go to assets/scripts/app.js and modify the handlePortletTools function’s event handler(“jQuery(‘body’).on(‘click’, ’.portlet > .portlet-title > .tools > a.reload’, function (e) {“) as shown below:

jQuery('body').on('click', '.portlet > .portlet-title > .tools > a.reload', function (e) {
            e.preventDefault();
            var el = jQuery(this).closest(".portlet").children(".portlet-body");
            var url = jQuery(this).attr("data-url");
            alert(url);
            if (url) {
                App.blockUI(el);
                $.ajax({
                    type: "GET",
                    cache: false,
                    url: url,
                    dataType: "html",
                    success: function(res)
                    {
                        App.unblockUI(el);
                        el.html(res);
                    },
                    error: function(xhr, ajaxOptions, thrownError)
                    {
                        App.unblockUI(el);
                        //display some error message here
                    },
                    async: false
                });
            } else {
                // for demo purpose
                App.blockUI(el);
                window.setTimeout(function () {
                    App.unblockUI(el);
                }, 1000);
            }
        });

Thus you can pass data-url attribute for the reload icon in the html:

<a href="" class="reload" data-url="some_url.php">

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks.

The autocomplete with Typehead not working. Please help

keenthemes

Hi,

Seems like we missed include the typeahead plugin. We will fix it in the next update very soon.

In the main time please download the typehead plugin from keenthemes.com/downloads/bootstrap2-typeahead.min.js and include it on your page(you can put this plugin under assets/plugins/bootstrap/js/ folder).

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Hi keenthemes,

This is the best easy template to customize please keep the files like that, I mean dont make one Big css or js file with everything in it.

Only one thing that I would like to see is a Timeline page, that will complete this amazing template.

keenthemes

Hi :),

Thanks for the comment. We will consider implementing the timeline page in a future release. Stay tuned!

Thanks.
