The only available solution I see is to buy an extended licence – but it may not be affordable for an open-source project…

Amazing theme, the best admin skin I’ve ever seen, good work.
However, as many have said, it is really heavy on the javascript side, (I’ve tested in firefox 3.6+ and firefox 4 B1.
Maybe you could add a “light” page which is fast, as an extra?

Regarding performance, the template runs quite fast on normal pages – the full-styles demo page is really heavy because it is quite long and has all plugins activated. The template also uses CSS3 features such as drop-shadows and gradients, which are yet a bit slow – but will be much faster in incoming browser updates.
Just keep in mind that every element – blocks & functions – can be removed/disabled depending on your needs. Every template extra function (tips, AJAX search, lists functions…) are separate plugins in separate files, and are totally unobtrusive – the template is functional even without them.

I was thinking of buying this template.
My web experience thus far is with wordpress only. I want to create a stand alone login area for my clients where they can monitor the progress of contracts/projects.
Would this theme suit? How would I even activate/install it
I think this template could really fit your needs.
About installing it, this is just an HTML skin, you can use it to build your own CMS or install it over an existing one, with a little programming. I think it could even be used with Wordpress as a CMS , it you’re familiar enough with Wordpress template integration.
Definitely agree with previous posters.. this is one of the most thorough, well designed and attractive admin themes on here.. the only suggestions I have, and I understand the full demo uses ALL js resources,,.. but it is very slow. One thing that might help out is to break it into pages, make CSS image sprites throughout the app.. and please change the href=”#” to href=”javascript:void(0);” so it doesn’t refresh the page each time you want to ‘click and play’ around the demo LOL .. All in all.. great work !! - bookmarked -
