Hello, I purchased this theme and love it! I have just one question: I’m using the theme for my blog in addition to my current website, and would like to apply the same style that you have on the “BLOG” page with the sidebar appearing on the left (without the featured pannel)? We just used a top-level category of “Blog” for all of our posts and linked to that in the header nav.
Thanks a lot. I seem to be having a pb with the showcase gallery feature. When I open up a gallery from the showcase page, I have thumbnails of the gallery content that appear on the right, above the description of the gallery. How can I take them out? Thanks a lot! S.

hello, i am likely looking to purchase this template, you guys have done a great job. just wanted to ask a question or two first.. - can you specify which posts are displayed in the slider or does it pick the most recent ones - on the main page, is it the most recent posts that appear or can you pick specific posts to be shown (for example the most recent post from each specific category not most recent post overall) - i like the layout of the “showcase” page (with the red nav menu), but i prefer the “blog” style post layouts (where content isn’t always in the grey boxes).. is there any way to have those type posts in the showcase sections?

1) yes, you can choose exactly which posts are displayed in the homepage slider
2) yes, the homepage features the most recent posts… however with some modifications to the template file you can include or exclude certain categories or post types
3) this is not a built-in option and would require some modifications

Hi, when extract the .zip file and upload it the theme to wp-content / themes through Filezilla I got an error in Wordpress.
in Appearance / Themes i get the message that the theme is missing stylesheet. What to do ?

Looks like you’re probably trying to install the entire theme package zip. Install the actual theme which is the themename.zip inside the “theme” folder.
Check out the “documentation” folder too… it walks you through the install as well as theme setup and usage.

Thx for quick response. I did exactly what you said, and tried to press live view. and no matter what I change in the left bar it just say: It just looks like you still need to configure your theme options.
You need to go into the admin area and go to Theme Options. http://cl.ly/JPFm
That is where you configure the theme. Save your settings and it should be fine.

A client of mine is using this theme, and I was thinking of adding a 3rd column or basically a sidebar to the left of the homepage ( as I want a twitter widget, some ads and etc there.) How can I go about doing this ?
There is an optional homepage sidebar widget area that you can enable. Just drop a widget into it and the homepage will be 2 columns with a sidebar as the 3rd.
I’m sorry, but I do not see this option anywhere in your theme.
It’s not an option it’s an optional widget area. Go to your widget page from the WP admin and add a widget to the Homepage Sidebar widget area.

When building a menu, you drag a menu item a little to the right to make it a submenu.

Hi I purchase you theme and I think is one of the best theme on themeforest.
I was looking at you demo under features you have portfolio and you have a showcase categories on the left hand side with: business indentity, photography, print advertising and so on.
I am inside my site admin, under showcase and I was able to add showcase categories but I am not able to edit them or delete them.
- How do I delete one of the showcase categories like photography? - another question is how do I edit showcase categories

With this theme, could I use the box on the right side of the header/slider for a sticky post? Yes, it’s me again, trying to find a solution for my situation, which is using a split header… Construct seems closer to providing the solution…

Yep. If you tag a post as sticky, it will display to the right of the slider.

Hi,
I want to get rid of the grey thingie on the left side of the image in the feature slider.
I assume this would allow me to have my image use the space that would be vacated by the removing the grey thingie. Which would make me happy.

If you removed that section a number of other things would have to be changed. The image size is set to fit with the grey bar. You would need to customize the slider template code and remove the grey section, change the size of the image setting and tweak the css.
Hi there -
Great theme! Very classy. I want to set my site so there are no comments. In Wordpress I have turned comments off in: / settings / discussion
but they still display at the bottom of every post. I don’t want the comments box to appear at all, even if people can’t comment in them. How can I make the comments disappear please.
UPDATE
I have resolved this. It was only happening on posts that had been previously published. I have removed the ability to comment from them.
