Construct | Multi-Purpose Wordpress Theme

Hi,

We used this theme to create a website and here are few issues that we are facing.. it would be great if you can look into this and let me know how to deal with this..

Construct Homepage 3 related problems: 1. Adding images directly to the Home Page 3 PieceMaker slider from theme options does not make them a part of the slider. XML is required. 2. Contact form shows extra space after Title area when map and address is disabled. 3. Hover images (large icons/circles) show as squares and give a flickering effect during color transition in IE, Opera and mobile browser(Android). 4. Bullets and numbering, not working in some layout styles with sidebar, for some layouts it adds a strong tag. Missing fallback image in iPad(Safari-landscape mode)

Why is there a strange second blog page that stretches out the feature image? You have lipstick in your blog post, then that same lipstick in the second page, but it is not stretched out. My images get stretched.

I like it a LOT!!! nevertheless, Have a question. Does it support more than one portfolio? I’m not talking about portfolio layouts or styles, I’m talking about the ability to manage more than one portfolio. This feature is very important for my project.

Maybe its simple for you. I need to do a gallery but… show in the page or post only the first image of the gallery and when you click on this image that open a lightbox with this image and arrows for the other images. Is that possible?

fcbinfo It is possible, all you need to do is to download the prettyPhoto Media plugin (free), install it, and upload all your images…

Then, you need to add one image to yout post/page and assign the rel=”prettyPhoto[nameofyourgallery]” to the .

After that, only add the url of the other photos you want in your gallery like this .

The only image that will appear is the one you added manualy, the others will be part of the gallery but the thumbnails wont show.

Hey, Love the theme, and this is a stupid question; but the bullet points don’t work. I looked through the documentation and I saw I can add arrow bullet, but I want just good old fashioned bullets. Thoughts?

How to add multiple contact us address with map. Currently the construct theme only supports one address option in the construct theme options.

Just wondering if we can disable the mouse over on icons. When we hoover on icons, they seem to jump in the air, which annoys me. That’s the only thing I don’t like though

Hi there, I have a question about how to remove the hover effect on the images in the recentwork_slider in IE8-9?. The images in this slider allready have a overflow with a grey tint and when you hover it with the cursor the grey tint disappears. Is there a way to remove the grey tint at all? Hey, I really like the theme, great job! One question: is “construct” child theme ready? I created a child theme of construct and the changes i put into the child-theme style.css didn’t work… Could you tell me, if child theme works for “construct”?

Can somebody confirm (the author?) that it works on WP 3.51? I’m thinking about purchasing this theme. Last update was in feb 2013, can I assume it works?

opjeklompen, it is not entirely compatible with 3.5.1. The info states it is only compatible with up to 3.4. I am finding countless bugs with 3.5.1
