Feature Request: Can you guys add a flag in the settings to toggle the functionality of the portfolios to either use the lightbox or link directly to the portfolio item single view? Everyone I’ve demo’d this to didn’t realize you could click the text to get a single view with more info.
Yes we will discuss that addition. That method we used is pretty standard now across themes though. But I can definitely see this being a good feature, makes it easier for users.

I had recently purchased your Construct Theme.
Can you tell where is the option to set Home Page Style2 or any other as default. This is bit confusing than other themes which I had purchased earlier.

Just a quick question before I look at purchasing the theme. Am I able to mix and match element from the various Home Page options or is it a matter of choosing one of the 8 currently available and that’s the set structure?

Well you could of course do it by editing the HTML , which would not be all that difficult, but out of the box there is no point and click way to mix and match parts of different home pages.
Success of Theme depends upon the support or help document.

Just purchased this theme and followed the documentation. Tried to import the xml file to make the site look like the demo. It doesnt happen
Did you follow these steps for the xml? Also, all the images are not included due to copyright laws. Follow steps below, if that does not work for you then something is off. Please fill out a ticket and we will get it uploaded for you. Thanks!
1. The XML file is included within the download package which will be used to import the content (minus slider setup). To configure slider, read the documentation.
2. Navigate to WP Admin -> Tools -> Import.
3. Select and install WordPress importer.
4. Select the XML file and upload it. It will in few minutes install and upload all content with images.
5. Now navigate to WP Admin -> Appearance -> Menus page and select the newly created menu and assign it to “Main Navigation” location.
6. Next, navigate to WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading Settings and set a front page and a posts page.
The same steps was followed, but no luck. I have also filled out a support ticket.
This was done on a clean install two times with the same problem. The images were uploaded as I could see these in the media manager, but the content was not.
Please email your url, username and password to support@squidix and explain the issue. We will log in and install it for you.
In the Contact Section under Theme Options, I have made changes to the address and save it. However none of the changes are appearing
Did you download the latest version of the theme? Please visit your downloads tab and redownlaod the theme and install it.

Yes it makes sense and thats not an out of the box solution, so it would not be easy to do. You would need to know how to customize it.

It would be very easy to use multiple home pages or one home page with the same set of options/content around the site. However, since the options are set once per home page, you could only use each home page once.
I have purchased many themes and unfortunately I find yours difficult to grasp and the documentation is not very clear. I very rarely had to resort to other documentations for other themes as they followed a very simple and logical structure.
The design of the theme is brilliant however I feel the functionalities and the way it is constructed ( no pun intended) – not a lot of thought has been given to it. The price of $45 is normally reserved for themes that are exceptional. I personally feel that this theme is exceptional in the design but not in the way it has been developed. I feel this theme has been rushed without giving it a lot of thought of the functionalities. This is mirrored by a lot of similar comments I don’t know how many more you are getting through your ticket system as it is not visible to the public.
There are other issues that I have found not working so far.
1. If I wish to reset one home Page in the Theme option, it re-sets the WHOLE theme options thus EVERYTHING reverts back to the original settings and a lot of time is wasted. 2. In the Contact section if I change the address to one of mine, it is not saved or reflected when the sit is viewed.
Your theme says that a full xml demo data is included which was one of the points that made me buy so I could not spend time in HTML /CCS coding. The Demo XML DOES NOT work.
Please let me know if you can re-send it by email and also it would be great if you can make the support ticket open so other people can get answers.
Themeforest reviews the theme and sets the price, not us. And that is the current way our support system is set up, as we already mentioned. We are setting up a forum for users but have not completed it yet. Please be patient. Also, its just now Monday, as with most authors, we do not guarantee that support will be provided over the weekend. But we are doing what it takes to support users even on weekends.
What about the documentation is not clear? Please, let us know and we will clarify it for you or make adjustments.
Please email support@squidix about the 2 issues you listed. The XMl file works, works for us and other users so something is not taking on your end. But we will get it fixed for you, we are here to help.

What happens when you install the xml file? Are you getting an error or is just some of the content missing? Which content is missing?

Still I am not able to change Home Page Style from default one to other one (E.g Homepage 2, Homepage 3 etc.)

I can edit the contents in the desired home page style.
How to make it as default home page style>

Home Page2, Home Page are not getting listed there. Only pages created in Pages Menu of WP is geting listed there.

I am getting a error message When I go into the Theme Options and Use the Home Page 8 template and upload a image. When I save the settings and view the page, I see no image but the box borders of the image. When I right click the image to find the url the below error message appears
“A TimThumb error has occurred. The following error(s) occured: An error occured fetching image.”
I submitted a support ticket (Ticket #437195) regarding the problem in Chrome on windows 7, where the call out “buy construct” button is cut off by the “Construct is flexible” box on the Home and Home 1 pages. I even attached a screenshot. I have not received a reply, nor has the problem been fixed.
Is this the type of support I can expect if I purchase the theme? Your theme looks great, but there are so many problems mentioned on the comment section that I am really hesitant to pull the trigger on buying it.
