As for the Responsiveness, you can turn it off by removing the link to the responsive CSS

Hello,

No mobile menu?

Thanks.

Best Regards.

This isn’t supported currently, it just adapts to the screen.

Having brought your theme I am getting tom following errors when trying to update the content on pages.

I think you’ve purchased the WordPress version, this is the HTML version’s comment board… However, we will need you to create a ticket with WP Admin information and FTP information.

Hi there, I just bought your template since I like its clean and modern design. I am currently using 30-day trial version of Dreamweaver to customise your HTML but its quite difficult since I am not familiar with coding. 1. How to change the image in the slider (for Homepage 1 and 2) 2. In the team page, if I want the facebook, twitter, linked in, to go to specific page, where should i put the URL> 3. Do you have the documentation to customise this template?

Its great template but I think its too difficult for me to customise. Thank you Fndi

squidix

1) You can do this by changing “src” in the <img /> tag.

2) This can be done in an <a></a> tag. This should look something like <a href="linkhere">img tag here</a>

3) No. This is an HTML/CSS template so we expect you to know HTML/CSS when purchasing.

how do i make the inside pages boxed the same as home page version2?

squidix

This is done using the index_v2 class on the body tag.

this does not render the Version 2 inside pages correctly. Works fine on home page but the inside pages not. Can you change on your files to check.

squidix

You will have to edit the CSS a bit as the elements aren’t actually styled for the boxed layout.

There are a significant number of iOS navigation/presentation bugs in this template. What is the schedule for fixes/updates?

Please provide screenshots by making a support ticket. We do not know of any issues on iOS devices.

Hi, Does this come up with Flash (Home version 3)? Regards

squidix

Please make a support ticket with FTP access information and screenshots.

Thanks, its something wrong with my Development machine as i hosted the site on live server and it runs fine on my laptop using IE. So i believe my IE java-scrips settings for my Dev machine are not right. Thanks for the help though, cheers

This is not true. Not only is Construct responsive but it also keeps the clean, modern design all the way down to smaller screen sizes such as iPhones.

Hello, I have a minor issue with the template, I have removed the link to responsive.css as I need to use tables and they will not work on a responsive site.

However when I open a page on a smaller screen (even on a browser window made smaller) The backgrounds of all divs are cut off (header, footer, slideshow etc.) when you scroll across. See this image:

http://www.fixitwaterford.com/images/construct.png

Do you have any suggestions.

Regards, Hearny.

squidix

Yes, if you remove the responsive stylesheet the theme is no longer responsive.

You seem to have misunderstood my post, The issue is that the site does not work properly without the responsive.css page.

If you remove the responsive.css the site loads fine on larger windows but not on smaller ones like the iphone or a brower window not in fullscreen, I dont require it to be responsive but I do need it to be presentable on smaller screens.

I will start with the iphone. On loading the home page the screen is zoomed in to the logo and some of the slideshow so the menu is not visible unless you scroll to the right, when I scroll to the right the slideshow and its background (or on pages without the slideshow the contents of top_title) get cut off as the image above shows.

I have added min-width:960px; to the body in the style.css as a work around.

I need to test it some more though.

squidix

As I said, if you remove the stylesheet which dictates that this is to be responsive, you will not have any responsive features. The only way to achieve what you’re looking for is to do a work around like you have.

Hello,

How do I remove the black and white state from the images on the home page etc? also where are the instructions for the footer php form as well as the contact us php form. Just need to know where to drop the email address.

Cheers,

Jordan

squidix

For the black and white effect, check the head of your HTML file for a black and white script (jQuery) and disable it.

For the e-mail contacts, you will need to create a PHP form and should use a tutorial like this:

http://www.phpeasystep.com/phptu/8.html

is there a working demo of this? The demo on the info page does not appear to be working.

Thank you

When will the WordPress version be returning?

Thanks

squidix

We are fixing the issues and hope to have it reactivated shortly.

Hi We have purchased and installed Construct 2.0.2. I used Add Media to add an image to a post content but the image was added to the post slider. Now that image cannot be removed from the slider, nor does it appear in the post content so it cannot be deleted. I tried removing the Featured Image and that did not help – the image is still showing in the slider of the post. How can I add media to a post with the image appearing in the post’s slider? How can I remove the image that’s in the slider now? Thanks

squidix

1) You can add images directly in the body copy, that’s the only way to achieve that, as the slider uses featured images.

2) You would need to unassociate that media from the post.

why was the wordpress version of this theme removed ? I have it running on a clients site…

squidix

The WordPress version of Construct will be back on ThemeForest shortly.

The video is not playing for me on index3.html in the slider. It is the last item in the slider and it looks like it should auto play but all I see is the image of the opening frame of the video. Is there any fix for this?

squidix

Can you send us a link?

How do I find a contact.php support? the link above is no longer available. Please help me get the contact form working.

squidix

We recommend searching “simple PHP contact form” to see how to set it up. The forum was taken down by management without notice.

Do you have a full width page that is really full device width and not just full width of .container?

squidix

There are no other pages than what you see on the demo.

Hello, I have used this theme to create a corporate website for my client. They have been very specific with the design requirements which has resulted in multiple changes to the structure of the HTML and some minor changes to the CSS. The finished site can be viewed at http://gfandco.co.uk

Unfortunately, these changes have broken some aspects of the responsive functionality and the site now looks broken when viewed on tablets and mobiles. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at the site and give me some pointers as to why the responsive functionality is broken.

I would be happy to pay for a couple of hours of your time if you are able to fix this for me. I can provide SSH and/or FTP details so that you can edit the site, which has been built using CodeIgniter PHP. Alternatively if you could highlight the problems from the source code, I would also be willing to pay for a document that highlights all the markup problems and the fixes for said problems.

Great theme/template – these responsive defects are entirely my fault! Thanks, Jake

There were multiple changes, I cannot remember them all. That is why I sent a link, if you resize the window while viewing the homepage you can see that most of the site is no longer responsive.

Hi squidix, have you managed to take a look and spot the issue(s)?

squidix

To make a full examination of this and the changes to detect what was changed that would cause such an issue could take hours. For this reason, I can’t say that looking at it has helped. You should speak to the developer that did the job, as it was functional before making custom edits.

Hi, I just bought this template. but i can not find contact form php file… Please help Kind Regards

squidix

There is no Contact Form PHP file. You will need to create one yourself.

Default-user

can you help me with the PHPform please…and how much it will cost me?

squidix

We can make the PHP form for you for $35.
