The template lists Joomla 2.5, but is it compatible with Joomla 3.0+?

To all future buyers, be warned that you can’t get support or answers to your questions from the authors. I tried asking here, on their main page, and even through the contact form… no answers and it has been 10 days.

Some things are not covered in the tutorial. For instance how to attribute header images to content pages. Doing it the normal joomla way through the page parameters doesn’t work.

Same thing with the tiny image gallery in the footer and some other stuff. Forget also about the quick installation… I followed all instructions in the readme file to the letter and imported the SQL dump on a clean Joomla install + theme + plugins as instructed so i could see an example, but it just doesn’t work at all. Meaning not only information is missing from the installation doc, but you can’t even learn from the demo examples.

In the end instead of spending half a day to install this template for my client, it has been a week and some details are still not clear. I don’t know about you but i buy templates to get websites quickly online, not to waste my precious time figuring it out… This purchase has been a huge waste of time, i won’t buy from this company again.

This template looks nice on the surface but is a pain.

Basically install Joomla first, then copy all the folders / files into the appropriate place… then dump the joomla database and import the database provider.

You will then notice that they haven’t even included all the images so you can never get the template looking exactly as the demo site.

Ontop of this, it’s just a really average template. The nicest feature is the home slide. I’m still working on getting this template how I like it for my client, but it’s but such a hassle. Even the Login Form doesn’t have finished .css to it.

The problem I’m working on right now is the random ‘Loading.gif’ on the homepage. I have NO idea what it does, or what position it’s loading into …

There are much much better, more finished and complete templates out there for an extra $10.
