Hi, did you use the right custom fields? Im going to update the file today.
I used the right custom fields, but i understand these custom fields are only used to change background images, right? so how do I specify some posts are blogs, and some posts are portfolio? Also, I have specified a flv file for background in the homepage, but it aint working.
How do I make the blog links look like the preview site? and, how do I make the video show on first page?

when i wanna acces the files on the fla folder i get a 404 page. could this problem i am having loading videos as background have anything to do with foler permissions in my server?
can videos include sound? should I remove sound?

Yes i think thats the point, should be someting about folder perms. And as i said it will be better if you share any login information with me i can check for you when im avaiable.

Can you make a sub of subcategory? or Sliding menu possible? I try to add 17 menu and use 1024×768 screen, It can’t show all.

I have a question.. I’m not able to get background Portfolio images to work. Made sure cache folder is set to 777. added custom field BG_image – full url. as you can see here, N-A-N-A.com , I’m getting bad thumbnails and no BG image.
I have vers. 2.0, do I sitll need to edit ‘functions.js’ ? I’m assuming you fixed it so I don’t have to do it with vers. 2.0.

Hi, its not a bug i did it just for not scaling the video. If you use 100×100 px for example; it wont be shown good at widescreens. So its the best solution, bleave me

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but for the life of me I can’t get the Google map to render the way you have in the display template. I’ve reverse engineered the code etc etc but I’m still getting half the left side of the Google map as well as the top of the Google maps page. I’m tearing my hair out and I know it’s going to be something so obvious but…..any help would be HUGELY appreciated!

Hi sorry but its not possible, needs too much modifications for that
But the videos don’t scale properly man, on my original site http://www.oneanswer.tv (also a flash background based site) the videos never zoom in/cut off the top and take up the whole screen regardless of resolution.
I’m pretty sure it’s the background.swf file itself. I originally got this template because I wanted something similar to my original site but with wordpress menus/posts etc.
Any help/solution is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Mate i checked it, try to change the browser size of http://www.oneanswer.tv/ you will see its scaling. It wont be seen good at widescreens, im using a methot do fix the video to browser size so its not breaking the video. You can replace background.swf with your own if you want also.

Hey I got threaded comments to work. Most the work was already there. Just one small tweak to the comments file and a few lines of css. If you are interested I am willing to share.

Two questions:
1. I am having an issue with photos embedded in posts/pages. Unlike your “About” page in the preview, when I add a photo to a page, it does not appear to be justified, but is placed above the text. Is it due to the picture size?
2. Is it possible to add a flickr widget to a page (like the homepage)? I am using this for a jazz club site where I want to have a filmstrip of images but the theme does not support widgets.

I hate to bother with my issues but it has gotten to a point where it’s beyond me.
I cannot get my thumbnails on the Portfolio page to load.
Each post has BG_image = full URL , BG_type = img, and BG_value = full URL …
cache folder permissions are set to 777. running Contrast 2.1 ..
I emailed you a login to http://n-a-n-a.com/ like you asked.
What am I missing??

In addition to my 2 questions above, I uploaded the latest functions.php but notice that the rendering of headings (H1-H3) in IE 7 .0 are incorrect. All headings appear to be right justified.
Also, I cannot get my thumbnails to load either.
Hi, did you enter your portfolio category to wp-admin after you update? Are you adding BG_image custom field? Did you change the permissions of the folder cache to 777? Are you selecting portfolio as a category while you are publishing your post? And could you share the IE7 issue with more information i could get it clearly, thank you so much.
Nice stuff, but your side bar navigation is irritating to use. You roll-over to pick a portfolio item, but the slider moves up/down, because your code is moving the slider based on the mouseX and mouseY position on the slider.
