thanks get_in_motion for the sample data import info – have now done it but find that the result is nothing like the demo http://themes.purelayers.com/contrast/. no image on the main page…menu not white background. and worse yet cannot understand in the admin UI even how to set the home page since this isn’t a template option. ridiculous that there is no support for this theme. should i just get a discount and use something less headachy?

I am having trouble making the revolution slider fit on mobile. It only displays in half the width. Is there a solution for this?

Cannot load themeforest-68089-contrast.zip theme into wordpress at DreamHost. receive following error: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.”

This theme is advertised in ThemeForest with DreamHost link for Hosting. Am i missing something?

Hi. A few questions. 1. In the Portfolio (type 1, the FullScreen) section, is there the possibility to load an external webpage instead of the background image? I mean like an iframe but opening in the background each time we click an item. 2. I had another question, a. is the theme’s search function ajaxified and b. does it show the search results like in the fullscreen portfolio?

And also, isn’t it possible to have those items paged in the fullscreen portfolio (the same type 1)?

@ garydel : Yes probably you did miss something. You may want to unzip the original file and find another zip file inside it. That one is the thing you are going to upload in your wordpress installation. It’s usually the case with other themes I’ve seen.

Hello! Really loving the beauty and simplicity of your template, but I have a few questions before making my purchase.

1. The world of coding is quite new to me and my only experience is from altering a portfolio site to move things around ever so slightly. SoOoO… how much coding is involved and will it be that difficult

2. What draws me most to your theme is the option to have a page completely dedicated to a full screen 2 minute video. The site would be for an actor’s portfolio and contain his reel. I saw that HTML5 was an option, but is it embedded or a link.. or how does that work??

Oh! 3. is there a way to tone down the grainy effect laid over the images depending on the resolution?

Hi all, if you have problems with thumbs and other image files, you can try to set up all your folder permission on 777. It works to me.

This theme is just not worth the trouble.

I had to get into code to fix some of the issues. But, the effort is not worth it. There are far too many issues and without any communication from the developer its a drain.

I am going to just throw the damn thing out and forget about the $ lost. Theme forest should take note and stop listing this item.

Great theme! I bought and setup everything up relatively quickly and easily. I just have a couple of questions though:

1) On the Portfolio page I love how all the thumbnails previews on the right, however I dislike the “Next” tab on the bottom of the thumbnails. On your demo these tabs do not exist, and nor do I want them to on my site. Can you help me obtain the continuous scroll feature exactly like you have on your demo? 2) I put together a blog page, but removed it for the sake that it didn’t have the layout like your demo. I like the plain white tabs on the far right with no background, however I only have two options for the blog: a) type 1: where its like a traditional blog, and b) type 2 which has image thumbnail previews like my current portfolio/photography page mentioned in above in 1)

I am sure this is easily solved, but if you could help me out then that would be great!

Hi, I can’t get the background image to auto-resize. Is there a trick to this? On other demos when I view the site on different devices, ipad, 37”, mac etc the home page image resizes, but mine doesn’t

OK, so all looking good, but not sure on this???

Under HTML5 video is states. “Less than 300 KB and 5 sec.” Surely this can’t be right?

Hi, I love this theme and i think it is nearly perfect.. Nearly execpt 2 things : - The Video Isn’t it possible in a next maj to have the control on the video when it is on background.. Play, stop, sound.. To have a player and also which is compaatible with youtube and vimeo ?? - The portfolio systeme could be better if it was a page template !! More flexible !! Is it possible ?
