Appreciated Meshach =)

Looks great! Might have to buy it soon!

QwibbleDesigns

Thanks, I’m glad you like it =)

Very nice theme, just missing the pagination.

Ill buy soon :)

QwibbleDesigns

Pagination is being uploaded within the next 24 hours, along with a textarea character limiter (for things such as post excerts), and a color picker.

A date picker, and charts are being added soon as well.

I’m glad you like the theme, and look forward to your purchase.

Update is now in the queue, and the new live preview is uploading =)

Hi,

in witch template can i use it?

can i drive a flash/xml template ou xhtml one?

Thx

QwibbleDesigns

With the right underlying code, it could be used to drive any kind of template, but it requires someone to write some php / asp.net for you.

Matt

Dude I am literally blown away, I have seen many admin skins and once I get paid I will buy it. Amazing. Art.

QwibbleDesigns

Thanks darrenly, look forward to your purchase =)

Matt

Excellent template – I bought this almost as soon as I saw it. Full featured, clean markup and very straightforward to use.

One problem though – on my laptop screen (1280×800) the pop-up messages box is too long for the screen and there’s no way to scroll it down.

Any suggestions?

QwibbleDesigns

I’ll work on fixing that, and notify you when the update is uploaded.

If you send me an email at matt@qwibbledesigns.co.uk, I’ll send it to you as soon as I’ve fixed d it so that you don’t have to wait for the update to be approved.

Thanks for pointing out this to me, it’s something I hadn’t encountered on my bigger screen but should be easy enough to solve.

Best regards,

Matt

The theme has been updated with a fix for the message modal box, meaning it will always be visible on screen, and will change size depending on your browser viewport size.

For further update requests, don’t hesitate to ask =)

Hi, great theme. I purchased it a bit ago for use on a personal project of mine. It is clean, unobtrusive and very efficient.

It would be nice if the would get some css love, since it isn’t as nicely styled as all the other form tags.

Currently the subheader has a button on the right side. It would be nice if that subheader could contain a small piece of text on the right side as well. For instance: I’ve been using the full-table design for showing my bank account transactions. In the subheader i have two buttons, a title and to the right “balance: € xxxx” as information regarding that account. I hacked that into the template and it still gives a problem when the viewport is too small (i.e. not enough room for the title, info and the buttons). This could be a nice addition to the template as well.

Keep up that awesome work. I’ll be looking out for new designs in the future.

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, it’s great to hear. I’ll take a look at text in the sub header, but I doubt you’ll be able to fix the bug on window resize unless you set a min-width to the sub header. It may be something you want to play around with.

Which area of the css is lacking in structure by the way? You never actually said =D

Thanks for purchasing my theme, and I hope it continues to serve your needs well.

Oh, I could have sworn I typed it :) It’s the Select-tag. Must have typed it with tag delimeters. and got blocked in the form processing.

QwibbleDesigns

Okay I’ve tabbed the Select Css in the same manner as the rest of the stuff, a.k.a indented in the order it would appear in the html. I’ve left the selectors in their current placement as I don’t want styles to accidentally override themselves. It does make it easier to understand the structure of the plugin however. You can copy paste the Select section the css from here until an update is uploaded and approved. I’ll upload an update tomorrow. Thanks for pointing this out to me.

As for your subheader problem, I think a custom jquery function might benefit you best, by calculating the width of the your subheader title and other text, and then setting that width as the min-width. I’m tied up with other projects, and going away for a week tomorrow so don’t have any time to do this for free. Send me an email if you want this done when you get back and I’ll do it for you at my freelance rates, though it should only take an hour or two.

Best regards

Aplogies to anyone has viewed the live preview recently. Unbeknown to me, recently none of the jquery elements has been rendering due to a location mismatch between the js files and the html files.

This has now been fixed and I am glad to say, and the live preview is now up and rocking again.

Best regards,

Matt

Taking a look at the preview in IE7 , I notice the color picker functionality is broke.

It seems as if its not even being loaded.

QwibbleDesigns

Ahh, thanks for pointing this out. I’ll take a look and get this rectified as soon as possible.

How do I submit a form? All the submit buttons are regular links, and a input submit button is not styled correctly…

QwibbleDesigns

Yeah, the input button styles inconsistently across browsers unless I use an image and then its a set width, so you can use jquery to make the link submit the form.

$('#other').click(function() {
  $('#target').submit();
});

Where #other is the id on the link, and #target is the id on the form you are submitting. Hope that helps you =)

Is there a better less obtrusive way to do this without have to write code for every form I want to submit?

QwibbleDesigns

Okay, so if you simply apply a class of “submit” to each button that will be used to submit a form, the following piece of jquery should work in all forms.

$('a.submit').click(function() {
  $(this).parents('form').submit();
});

If you still have problems with it, send me an email to matt@qwibbledesigns.co.uk and I’ll help you out further =)

Fantastic Admin Design Matt.

I definitely recommend using this in the header or in an included JS script so that the submit buttons work across the board.

$('a.submit').click(function() {
  $(this).parents('form').submit();
});

My only issue so far is with the Dropdown. Its quirky:

QwibbleDesigns

Yeah, it’ll make a great addition to the code. I used it to help out a previous client on form submission recently with Control Admin.

I’ll take a look at the dropdown for you buddy. What browser are you using? I know this happens in IE7 , but wasn’t aware it happened in up-to-date browsers. It should be a css fix, so I’ll take a look into it for you =)

Cheers,

Matt

Hi!

I’m having the issues with the submit-button aswell.

I’m trying to use the code like this:

<style type="text/javascript"> $('a.submit').click(function() { $(this).parents('form').submit(); }); </style>

And for the button:

<a href="#" class="submit button right">Logg inn</a>

Thanks!

QwibbleDesigns

Hmm, I take it you are sending your form somewhere? Do you have action=”your_script_name.php” or whatever you require in the form tag?

Yes i have.

Can’t you just give me your e-mail and i’ll send you my code?

QwibbleDesigns

Of course, my email is in the documentation and via my author profile. I’m not a hard man to get a hold of =)

What is the best way to ensure the input forms do not auto-locate to the left. I’ve only looked at check boxes and select boxes, but they all move themselves to the left of everything else (including labels) – what would you suggest I alter to the CSS file? Thanks – loving the file, it is perfect for my needs.
