Lots of glitches in this theme. Not impressed. Buyers beware.

Hi Simon (or whoever else may be there!), I’m having problems with the widgets on the home page. Is there documentation for this?

Thank you! :-)

This is by far the most frustrating template I have ever worked with. BRUTAL!!!

The slideshow seems lopsided due to the space allocated for captions and custom fonts in those captions are failing.

How do I create a menu like you did with an extra menu beneath the button with links to ‘hidden pages’? You have it in the example.

How do I create a menu like you did with an extra menu beneath the button with links to ‘hidden pages’? You have it in the example. (under recipe > featured recipe, weekly recipe etc.)

Please respond to this question, cause you didn’t respond to my other questions via twitter/email/your forum

@parel1 I think this is just a matter of dropping a predefined menu into the left footer widget area, but I find it really weird that the seller of this theme appears unwilling to answer any comments here!

Need support – theme is not working OK. E.g. in the documentation it is recommended to use Codestyling Localization for translation… but when installed the following errors occur: PHP runtime error reporting detected ! Reason: some executed PHP code is not written proper | Originator: ukendt (probably by Theme or Plugin) Below listed error reports has been traced and removed during page creation:
DEPRECATED Error: [8192] Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated /var/www/fallo-e-basta.it/wp-content/themes/cookinglovers/admin/ot-loader.php on line 389

Secondly, I am missing documentation on setting up the frontpage, where you in the example shows a widget which shows a blot post… this widget is not existing…

Please get back!

For real I’d like to get my money back as the theme is not working and we don’t get any support. THIS IS NOT OK.

Don’t buy this theme!

I don’t see you to be a client. What kind of problems do you have with the theme.

This theme looks wonderful, but it glitchy and with the lack of timely or any support from OTOTW, is a waste of money. I have tried numerous times to get in touch with the developers for assistant, but have YET to hear anything back from them.

My advice, find another theme.

Bad support. Has anyone figured out how to do the tall text box like on the demo?

So since the support is so crappy on this theme and it seems to be a constant question. I did figure out how to make a tall text column. If you download the Black Studio WYSIWYG Widget plugin and enter your content in the html tab like this it works.

Saw this theme and it looks absolutely beautiful. However, the negative comments have put me off from buying this. Whilst I am still tempted to give it a go, I can’t justify $40 on something that may or may not work.

Please iron out any of the problems etc. And I would more than happily purchase this theme as it does genuinely look lovely! :)

Hi socouk

The theme is working good. The home page is 100% widgetized and i think the main problem is that people don’t read the documentation and don’t know how to configure it.

OTOTW

Yes, the theme is ready for translation.
