Hi! Is new version of this theme will support advanced search? What’s about localization in new version? Thanks’!
Sure, both things are supported
any updates to support the latest wordpress version?
Hi, please check the Announcement on item description, update is coming really soon
Where can I find comprehensive support videos and or instructions?
This is a comment addressed to the problem vegolyx reported with the getimagesize warning. I’m not sure if this is exactly the problem I experienced when I played around on my local machine but there it was due to missing the GD-library required to resize the image. After I’ve installed that, the problem disappeared. If you have this problem at the Webserver of you ISP that could be tricky because the provider than has to install this. Find some more details with this link: http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.image.php
Any updates? Thanks!
Hi, I’m really sorry but we need couple more days, if you really want to have it sooner, send me email and I’ll send you beta version But there’s no documentation yet.
No problem. I already sent you my email address through support system. Cannot wait for the latest version!

I really like this theme but I am having issues with the search for recipes. I have categories on the left side but no way to access all the recipes in that category unless I scroll through all the options with is time consuming because they are boxes. It would be better to have Recipe listings on the left side. This way one can scroll down to see all recipes (by category) rather than having to click on a particular category and then scrolling down the big boxes.
Your theme is great. One thing not working correct. Comments. They seem to span the page, cutting into sidebar. Not like in your demo were its in line with the main content.
Post and Gallery Setting is not showing multiple images, just shows featured image which is added. how to add multiple images of same recipe
please let us know

I appreciate you are busy but any chance of a feature list for the recipe plugin?
Will members be able to save recipes to a file (ie bookmark recipes) can they add ingredients to be printed etc?
The features are for now the same as in current version (but they work ) but it’s the separated plugin which I intent to improve and build many cooking themes around it. The biggest change is that all recipe layouts (like now you have 4 styles) are kept in plugin and can be moved between themes. They are done using DWOO which is template engine and it’s super easy for designers, you just need to know basic html and css and you can create your own templates https://github.com/emulienfou/dwoo/wiki/Dwoo-for-Designers .
Prints of course works, for bookmarks I really don’t see any point, your browser already has them and they can’t work any better. I’m planning to add option to calculate ingredients amount for X persons, but I’m not sure how to do it yet
Thanks for getting back. For members to be able to save recipes on the site under their account is actually a big and popular feature for most recipe sharing sites.
I see that there is the print function but on my current site, I have the function where people can add just the ingredients to a shopping list and print them. They also add other custom indgredients to the list. Not everyone needs to print the whole recipe off.
It is great that you are making it a plugin. I am desperate for a wordpress recipe plugin as I am looking to move from phpfox to wordpress.
There currently is not a decent one out there and if you did this right and worked similar to www.allrecipes.co.uk or bbcgoodfood.com you would be onto a big winner.
Calculating the amount of ingredients is a good idea. How about also being able change the ingredients similar to this http://codecanyon.net/item/measurement-conversion-wordpress-plugin/5354382?WT.ac=solid_search_item&WT.seg_1=solid_search_item&WT.z_author=edishorul
When you say it will work with other themes, could we buy another premium theme from themeforest and the plugin will work with it and is there the option to not use one the 4 backgrounds you currently have?
If you want to talk more about features etc I am on Skype. I and I am sure others appreciate what you are doing.
Ok, I’ll think about the bookmarking thing. For now I just need to release working plugin and theme as many people are so frustrated about current version.. And then I’ll start to expand it. I’m not yet sure if it will be released as separate plugin on CodeCanyon, or if I’ll release free version and only support will be paid on my own site. But anyone who will buy or bought CookingPress will be allowed to use it with different theme.
And yes, you’ll be able to buy/use any different theme and the recipes will work if you’ll have FoodiePress activated, the layouts will also work, but there’s one ‘minimal’ layout, without any styling, and you could easily create your own styles to match different theme.
If you have any feature requests or ideas, please send me email via contact form on my profile page http://themeforest.net/user/purethemes#contact It would be great to hear something from experienced user of this kind of websites.
I don’t use skype and prefer to keep it in emails. Thanks!
Ill get an email to you later tonight/ tomorrow. If you made this featured rich and as a plugin, you would be onto a winner. The other options are very poor.
Duplicate Lightbox appears
I have bought the cooking press theme with them. And have a question
I only have the plugin FancyBox for WordPress activated but the images are displayed in lightboxes 2, but only want to use the FancyBox,
where can I disable the other.
thank you ever for your reply

I noticed that this theme does not include a Bookmark or Favorite hyperlink or button on each recipe nor anywhere they can file their bookmarks or favorites.
Will this be considered as an additional feature in the future? Instead of having only the ability to print the recipe, it would be nice for our readers and guests to be able to start their own “Recipe Box” to file their recipes. So…in the header next to Submitting a Recipe would be a heading called Recipe Box (for them to login to).
What do you think?
Is this possible?
for bookmarks I really don’t see any point, your browser already has them and they can’t work any better.
Purethemes can you please update on this problem
I’ve added a couple of Servings categories: from 1person to 8 person. They appear in the pull-down on the recipe page in backadmin, but they don’t appear anywhere in the post when it’s published.. Check the Home page post meta – show informations like comments number, tags etc. below post it appears on home page but not on post pages can you guide may we doing something wrong..
There’s a new version of CookingPress available, please update and it should be fixed. Thanks!
How to adding a google ads code into the end of every recipe? I used a plugin to adding ads but in this theme it wont works well since it puts the ad code to the end of the wordpress content not the end of the recipe.
What’s the ETA for the update? I have been holding back on blog updates for months now.
I’ve just uploaded new version, is waiting for approval now
