Hi, is there a way to add a link to the notes part of ingredients. Sometimes I want to point the readers to the post that shows how that ingredient is prepared for eg. pumpkin puree. Since the actual ingredient is a tag, I was wondering if we could add the link in notes.
Each ingredient is a tag, and you can add description to each tag (wp-admin -> posts -> tag) which will be displayed after visiting ingredients page, so you might use that also, but links in notes section should also work
Thx. I added the description and image to the tag, but it does not show up. I have also set the “Show tooltips” to true. You can take a look at it in the test blog. Credentials are the same as what I gave for the child theme issue. The new tag is “testingtag”.

I was thinking of changing a few things graphically on the site to personalize it a little. Can I change the following items (list below) and if so, will I encounter any problems down the road when installing updates?
1. Moving the slider section down and making it a bit smaller. 2. Adding a headder. 3. Changing the label in the slider section.

You should use Child Theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes to avoid any problems with update.

Now for my question: You mention you are always looking for ways to improve your themes? Here’s an idea I think could set your theme apart from the rest.
How challenging would it be to integrate Ziplist functionality into the theme? Ziplist is a online shopping list and recipe box. Some of the less than stellar cooking themes already have it and I’m thinking it would be a huge (but hopefully simply implemented) ehnahcement. Here’s ziplist’s site. Hello, I just finished the site with your theme and it’s awesome. Still I have a question> I made a BLOG page, with “Excerpt loop page” as template and I noticed, there is no older post button on the bottom of the page. Can you please help me to figure this out. I’ve upload my website in localhost to to some tests, I’ve just bought and uploaded the new theme, but when I click to activate it, the answer is: “Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-12.1\www\wordpress\wp-content\themes\cookingpress-theme\cookingpress\backend\purepress-functions.php on line 200

That’s strange, this issue was fixed a while ago. I’ll check it, but you need to edit this file cookingpress-theme\cookingpress\backend\purepress-functions.php and replace this function in line 200 with this:

I also tried to upload the theme on my “real” website that is online, but after trying uploading it says that a CSS file is missing!
You need to first extract file you’ve downloaded from ThemeForest, theme is inside of it along with documentation, license, and other files. You need to upload only theme folder to your WordPress. 1. wp-admin -> Tools -> Import -> WordPress 2. If you have RTL WordPress it should work from the start, but you should know that not all features might be 100% working on RTL
Hello, this is really a great WPtheme ! Questions: I’m trying to localize this theme in French but it seems that it doesn’t work with functions that returns string from ‘purepress-functions.php’ functions. Am I missing something ? Is it possible to add this feature in a future release ? Thanks

Hello… I love this theme. I have used it on colorfulrecipes.com. There is a big dilemma that I cannot figure out. Notice how on the main page, only one post out of 3 has the white torn paper showing up correctly. To be clear, I have applied the torn paper background to every post (all posts). Everything looks ok within the posts when opened. However, only on the home page, only one out of three posts show up with the background. The others don’t have a background. The problem isn’t with specific posts either. The problem is always sequential. If I add a new post now, it will push the others down (obviously) on the main page; and, still then, only one out of 3 posts will have the background shown on the main page.
I hope this makes sense. The site is @ www.colorfulrecipes.com. I’ve been trying to figure this out for days and have no clue what’s causing it.

You’ll need to open files single.php and loop-single.php and purepress-shortcodes.php and search & replace this words you want, that will be the simplest way to do that.
