I have a big problem since the begining.

My recipe pictures don’t appears in Google results page. Only 3 appears on 100 recipes. Here my website: recette-gateau.com

Please help me. Nobody click on link if there is no pictures …

I got this looking good quite quickly, and I love the look of it.

I just have a small problem with the drop down menu.

It isn´t slick as it should be. It judders when hovering over and doesn´t seem to pop up in the right spot. On the cookingpress demo the drop down menus are very slick.

I think it could be some sort of js or plugin conflict. I uninstalled plugins and it didn´t make any difference.

I also tried it with different setting from within the coookingpress options, but its still the same.

Hi,

When I add a new post or recipe, I want to add Level and Servings in the post. When I go to the Levels and Servings drop down , I see the options are not populated in the drop down list. I only see a single default option as None. Please suggest if any setting I am missing or in case there might be some problem ?

Hi, Also I am setting up my custom homepage now and I do not see any ways around to set the slider in page. I guess currently slider cannot be added on a page ?

RE: change footer background to custom image

I have tried to change the footer background -

body #pattern-container { background: url (‘URL here’);}

on the ‘style-wood.css’ file but no luck. So tried the stlye.css file as well. My footer image is still being over-ridden by your predetermined styles.

Using Chrome’s Inspect Element, I can view my custom background by ‘unchecking’ your background url. But not sure what else to do with the real code to make this happen.

Could you please let me know how to achieve this?

This is a great theme, I’m looking to make some customizations and can’t quite figure out the proper coding for these big ones.

HOME PAGE SLIDESHOW + POSTS Is there a way to add a click here to read more button on the smaller post thumbnails on the right to take you to the post rather than just changing the image in the gallery?

I also want to change the background and hover of the post spaces from black to a different color. Not sure where that’s done in the stylesheet.

i have problem with getting the recipe published immediately (instead of draft). i’ve tried downloading the members plugin setting to necessary settings or just directly select “yes” for published… it’s still doesn’t publish the recipes immediately for registered users.. how can this be fix?

Is the theme compatible with WP 3.5?

Also is still appropriate to install the plug in TDO Tag Fixes? Wordpress lists it as being too old.

Also with the Print Friendly plugin the instructions say “most important – set “Add PrintFriendly To” to “Manual”” I wasn’t able to find anything in the plugin settings that seemed to match. Maybe the plugin has changed?

Hey… Love your theme and have been happily using it for a few months now. Unfortunately, I just updated to the newest version of Wordpress and ran into a problem. The Add Media button on posts and pages is no longer working and I can’t add a Featured Image. I switched to the Twenty Twelve theme and it started working so I’m guessing it is related to CookingPress. Just thought I’d let you know and see if you are releasing an update anytime soon. If not I’m guessing I’ll have to switch back to the older Wordpress version….

I am very new to all this and did not know how to add the theme any other way than zipping it first.
