Need some help with custom sidebars not working on pages.

Selecting a custom sidebar on a page does not change the sidebar displayed from “Sidebar Area”.

Please advise.

If anyone has problems with PNG stars from the rating plugins, go to /backend/purepress-functions.php and search for “showRating” and replace [gif] with [’ . RATINGS_IMG_EXT . ‘]. The only bug I found yet, otherwise a pretty decent theme so far.

leooranges: Please edit sidebar.php and in line 13 change is_single to is_singular.

This discussion board is awful – I cannot even reply to poor soul and there is no search so we can find the answers. Browsing through 42 pages is “passe”.

I have a question about how to put image in recipe. I created the gallery and put the photo on that part that says “Drag photo from thumbnails you ..”, but they do not appear in my recipe, I would like to leave this site

Thanks for a really cool theme, I had the same issue with custom sidebars on pages, but found the answer here.

Another thing though, can you somehow not make ingredients appear as tags, when saving a post with a recipe ?

Hi. I really like what I see other people doing with your theme. I am lost as to how to get my home page to look like some of them, like http://www.glutenfreibacken.com/ . How do I add the slider to the home page? And how do I get the white box over the pattern in the footer?

I sent you a private message directly, but I see that you are more active in answering comments here, so I am reposting my question here.

That is the first issue, I do not like this page at all, I would prefer that the full size image opens in a new tab or that the full sized image opens in a lightbox style window.

Now I was living with this issue and didnt bother asking for help until I noticed that this intermediary attachment page actually causes a secondary issue, it BREAKS the rich snippets feature of your theme !

As you can see the actual recipe page is nowhere to be found and instead we see the intermediary attachment page!

Not only should the intermediary page not be shown ( we should be taken directly to the image), but it shouldnt be indexed either…

I am not sure what is the cause of these issues, is it because of the way the theme is built? is it because of the way wordpress works ? Either way, it is bad…

Can you please tell me how to fix this? also, this is probably an issue a lot of people are having with your theme, perhaps some sort of fix should be implemented in your theme files?

Hello After user login, when clicking edit draft recipe the theme direct to wordpress admin page! Is it possible to edit recipe in the main page like adding new recipe?
