Does the html contain the about us, contact etc?? or just 1 file..
thanks in advance
Hi Blooming and thanks for this excellent template ! I’m trying to reduce the height of the footer but I don’t find where is the value in the css file. Can you explain me how can I do this ? Thanks.
This theme is great and beautiful… BUT … i can’t get any additional Javascripts or CSS to work with it?!? Nothing will work. Maybe i’m being stupid, but i’ve bought some tooltips on here etc. and whenever i try to plug them in according to standard practice it simply doesn’t work. Nothing, i’ve tried 5 different things now and none of them work – they usually use spans to make the hover effects work, is there something somewhere in one of the css or js files that is stopping me from adding any other types of span?!
Very frustrating, and the documentation of this one is kind of poor also – you’ve included a big list of the scripts and css used for the template, but NO documentation on how to include certain things… EG, the multimedias theme which i also purchased includes LOADS of info on how to do everything the template has to offer: http://iamthemes.com/themeforest/html/multimedia-html5/buttons.html That kind of thing would be very useful, especially since this one seems to be completely shutting down any kind of additional spans i want to add?!!!
Please help, thanks.
Hey,
the documentation describes what each Javascript file does, and what each CSS file is for. The trigger files (markup.js) and the main stylesheet have and index and are extensively commented.
The theme you linked to is a different concept, there are no loads of button styles in cooolZIne.
I can not help you with the implementation of a script that does not belong to this theme, and that I don’t even know. Maybe it’s bette to ask the author of that script, or use a dev. console to locate the problem yourself.
BTW . CooolZine has already a tooltip script included.
Cheers
The user Extrememusic could be right to an extent and yes, perhaps the documentation is a bit thin and perhaps I have not tried to push the limits of the template so, I’ve not run into problems but, one thing is for sure. This template lives up to its name CooolZine. I’ve bought a lot of templates and this is by far the coolest one I have acquired.
It turned out to be so much better than I thought it was going to be. It works great, is very easy to figure out and the interactivity and functionality is a thing of beauty. It’s like a whole new way to build web pages and very practical. The only thing I have not yet figured out is how to submit my buyer rating, because Cooolzine is definitely worth my five stars.
Hey dezzo,
thanks for your comment.
I would like to know, since you say it was easy to figure out, what is it that your are missing in the documentation? Because I honestly don’t know what else to put in there.
Every component is described extensively. This is a XHTML theme with no dynamic functionality, there simply is not more to say….?
Cheers
I’m not slamming your work nor the documentation. I love this template. However, I cannot call the documentation thorough. But, I have never found any documentation that come with templates at themeforrest to be thorough.
I can see the xhtml coding and your explanations are fairly complete or self explanatory. However the stuff which I cannot see, like the functionality of search forms or the commenting systems, or the avatars or links to social networking, they may look cool but do they work? Are there scripts that make them function and do they need to be amended for my unique site? Are there things I must know and do in order to get them to function? I have no clue and when the documentation says almost nothing about it, of course I am going to call it thin.
Or when you say that to get the tipsy to work, simply apply it to the “a” tag. Ya, like how? It would take but a moment for you to show an example. This is what I mean by thin.
Now I see your statement that there is no dynamic functionality. Well, now I know. Wouldn’t have taken very long to state that fact in the documentation. This is what I mean by thin.
Ok, I see what you mean.
I don’t know how many templates you bought around here, but simply the fact that this template is listed in the XHTML category means that there is no dynamic functionality. (Therefore is a Wordpress and a Drupal version of this theme available)
There are of course XHTML templates including dynamic functionality (written in PHP ), but this is clearly mentioned in the items description, and in the system requirements.
A lot of people buy a XHTML template and incorporate it into some content management system, the search and comment forms are meant for those people.
There is no way to create a search function or a comment system only in XHTML and JavaScript, you always need some server language.
Regarding the ‘missing documentation for tipsy’: There are plenty of examples in the markup.js, and there is a link to the official documentation with a list of all the possible options.
I see that you are new to this stuff, and it may be a tough learning curve in the beginning, but you have to understand that you are on a marketplace for web templates. The least we authors can expect is that the buyers know what they are buying.
The car dealer doesn’t teach you how to drive, and there is also no ‘documentation’ in the car explaining how to use it

Hi- I bought the theme last week and have been working with it. I have needed to change a few things like photo size and the content width and somewhere along the line something happened with the filtering. When I click the business or science tabs, the javascript performs fine but after when I click on “show all” to go back to the default, it sticks for a second or two and I can see the photos overlayed on top of the others.
I know it’s hard for you to guess without actually looking at what I did but any ideas where I should begin to troubleshoot that? I never touched any of the js files at all, just the html and css. Also, about that, even though I did make the photo sizes larger that is not the problem since I only have 3-4 photos on there so it’s not like it increased the server load dramatically and they are just normal 180×260 thumbnail size photos plus I went back to the smaller photo size and it’s still doing it. In fact I am very careful with these things so I am not even sure that it is something I did and that it might be a problem inherent in the js (which I understand you did not write so I am not blaming you). Anyway, any help you could give to point me in the right direction would be appreciated if you have experienced similar problems or if you know of anything that if changed tends to have an adverse effect on the filtering mechanism.
Also, since I made the photos larger I notice that when I hover with my mouse pointer, the target URL shown in the status bar and my ability to click only is enabled when I am hovering in the old 130×160 photo size you set up. How do I change that please?
Thank you-
Hello,
you may want to use dev tools to debug your site:

This may answer all your questions.

Putting aside the bug in the js, with regard to the larger image not being clickable, it’s a fairly straightforward question but maybe I did not explain myself properly so I will rephrase. It is as if you have made the 130×160 image an image map where ONLY that 130×160 area is clickable so when I enlarged the photo size the area outside that predefined area cannot be clicked. I simply need to know where in the files I would need to redefine those clickable dimensions. Thank you.
There are no bugs in the JS, unless you have modified it. In this case -> restore the original.
If you want to change the size of the picture, you have to change the size of the box and the ‘read more’ animation as well.
Here is a tutorial how to do that: http://jasonbobich.com/web-design/how-to-make-your-own-css-customizations-easily-with-firebug/
Nice work!!!
I understand this is the html template?
Hello, I purchased this theme and have found it to be pretty easy to use and customize. I do have a couple of questions: 1. On your live demo, it shows an example of a post without a picture, but on my site, I’m getting a big blank spot rather than an elegant copy flow with reduced white space. Can you tell me where in the code I can find the settings for margins/padding between the headlines and the text? 2. Can you tell me how I can override the settings that cause the menu items to pick up the color from the background? I’d like to set the color of the menu text for all items, both categories and pages. I can set the color of the categories, but not the pages in the menu. 3. Is it possible to control the number of boxes that appear horizontally with the fixed layout? There are currently the main article and four smaller boxes. I’d like to control the number, limiting it to two or three boxes. I can’t figure out how to do that.
Sorry to post support-type questions here. I sent an email a few weeks ago and didn’t get a reply, so I’m getting desperate.
Thanks again for creating such a great theme. It is very sophisticated but overall very easy to set up. I’m just in a situation where I’m having to do heavier modifications than I anticipated. I appreciate any help you can provide.
Best regards, Laura
Hello, I purchased the theme in May. My order number is a6734e527d8b11e0bcf8842b2b692e1a. I posted my questions while logged in, so I’m not sure why you couldn’t see it. My username is 8Alarm.
Thanks! Laura
Hey goods stuff! Will this work as Tumblr theme?
Hello I just bought this theme for drupal 7x..my hosting tells me it exceeds my 2mb capacity…what can i do ? thanks in advance
blooming is there a way i can get a drupal version, maybe for a prior version? i would be willing to install drupal 6x on my server in order to run this theme.
Absolutely love your design , turning it into a Social Network, it works Great with outside codes ans the ASP Programming language. Tested it on all browses including my blackberry and it comes up quick and personally… if u want to see exactly what your work can turn into it can go from being coolzine to this: http://www.aalyssa.com/index.asp and i never been to school for programming and all i did was piece together purchased scripts from envito.. 2 thumbs up
Dear Blooming, could you please explain how to show a small thumbnail image in the small box and a bigger one when you open the a single article? It just show the small tumbnail enlarged with a loss of definition. Thanks
demo not found
=) i love your work
Hi great XHTML /CSS template – I have purchased this but have noticed that often when you click one of the boxes on the homepage – the click does not register? Do you have any idea why this would be the case?
The problem is it only seems to happen every now and again.
At this time, I am not willing to put the URL out to the public just yet.
I will try and work it out, and if not I will then come back – if that is OK?
So has no-one else had any similar problems to this? (if so that would indicate it is something that I have done!)
BTW are you up for doing any contract work – to develop this theme further?
Thanks for your reply.
Ok it terms of this click problem – it is the same on you demo site!
If you try to click the image before the ‘read more’ bit slides across – the click does NOT register.. Personally I have just removed it, but it would be good it it worked.
I *think the problem is a JS one, eg JS is handling the click but only once that ‘read more’ slider has finished.
I have do have one issue that I need to solved though?
The main, submeuns when large enough to reach the main content, is UNDER the content – could you let me know how to fix this – I *guess it is to do with the Z order – although I dont have a clue where in the CSS this can be fixed.
What is the fix for this bug/error?
I am not amused. I have now tested it from a new zip..
The sub menus do not work, in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, or Safari.
By not work, I mean the sub-menu is under the main content (and hence cant be seen)..
Take a look everyone..
Sports/Sub-menus
http://socialartist.co/business.htmlNow take a look at the source-code:
...so thats the problem with the Sub-Menu; can you please provide a fix.

The link problem..
If a cursor shows that there is a link, then this link should be click-able. You should not have to wait for ‘something to happen’ before you can click.
If this is the logic you are using, e.g you cant click until the ‘read more’ slider has finished, then you should not have a click cursor until the slider has finished.
Either one, or the other..
Can you please provide a fix for this too.
Hello,
I checked the code once again, and found the menu issue you were referring to. Solution for this:Remove 'overflow:hidden' from #header classThe link problem is not a real problem IMHO , you just want it to work differently. Here are two solutions: Solution 1 (as already mentioned in the previous post)
Wrap the thumbnail with a link.Solution 2
Remove the 'cursor: pointer' from .article .thumb, .toparticle .thumb
There will be an update to fix the menu issue, but the link won’t be changed in the original theme files.
Cheers
