Thank you very much :)

Can this theme be integrated with mailchimp?

TonyBogdanov

I haven’t tried mailchimp, but I think it wont work, it is not intended to look good sent as email, at least not in all clients.

I guess my question is how does the email work? Can I easily have the email sent to me when they subscribe?

TonyBogdanov

For the subscribe form you’d need some server side scripting to make it send emails. This is just an HTML template and it has no built in functionality for sending those emails, since you may use it with many different types of servers, languages etc.

There are quite a few free scripts out there that can do this for you, and they are really simple, 10-15 lines of code or even less, depending on wether you use IIS, Apache, PHP, .NET etc.

Of course, you could always hire someone like me for the task :)

Not working

TonyBogdanov

Hello again, it seems to work just fine for me, the pictures load a bit slow, but after they are ready it works. The images are extremely large though, you should really use smaller ones, because now they are too heavy and load really slow.

hanks. How do I adjust the size of images in the background ?

TonyBogdanov

You should edit the images in an image editing software such as Photoshop or even Paint and resize them down. For size reference you can use the size of the preview images, which is 1670px by 955px.

When saving the image, use JPEG rather than PNG for smaller size, apply compression if available to further minify the images. An optimal image size would be somwhere between 200 and 400 KB.

Thanks. How do I adjust the size of images in the background ?

Great work. Quick question. How do I get the email address sent to MY email from the subscriber. Where do I edit that? Thanks.

TonyBogdanov

Hello and thank you got the interest.

To get the form working you will need to hire a programmer to write that script for you. It is not already included, bacause I have no way to know what language is your backend using (PHP, ASP, Ruby etc.).

Besides, it is an HTML template and it is not supposed to have that functionality included anyway.

If you still want it though, you can contact me through the contact form on my profile page for further assistance.

Best regards, Tony Bogdanov.

can i easy to change these images?

TonyBogdanov

Yes, it is quite easy, just check the included documentation.

Any idea why?

Fixed! Js query file was linked externally and needed to be linked locally.

Clean design, I like!

Cheers,

K

Yes, linking it locally would make it work when drag-and-dropped onto a browser, but keeping it external would give you two great benefits: 1. The file will be loaded from a CDN. 2. It will work properly regardless if you use or not, a secure connection (SSL, http:// or https://).
