I purchased this theme for an event and it worked great. will the gallery support photos downloads from tablets, iPad, Android? Also for smartphones iPhone and Android devices? Thanks in advance
Here is where I tried to add a shortcode http://bollingerimages.com/wordpress/?page_id=93
Hi Peerapong! I have a sugestion, what about include a nav buttom on FullScreen? Is it on your plans? It will be awesoon! Thanks
Thank you for your suggestion.
I am working on huge update for Core theme which will improve fullscreen slideshow feature a lot. I will release the update once it finish
I’ve installed this theme for a blog with images set at 800px at Large via the Media Settings in wordpress. I’ve noticed that some themes automatically resize the blog images to fit the blog size but this one doesn’t. Do you have any idea how to batch resize them all to fit (without reuploading them)? Obviously, changing the large media settings to 500 or 600px has no effect whatsoever.
Thanks in advance!
The blog image is fixed size (to the widest value possible) because you can’t have 800px image display on blog post. It will break overall layout and cause another issue instead.
The correct site address is:
I got a little further in that changing the Media settings for thumbnails has helped with several of the images, but others are still getting cut off, mainly the ‘tall and narrow’ ones. If you could help me understand the relationship of the Media settings and the Home page gallery display, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
Sorry, I am not sure I understand you correctly, could you send me some screenshots with description please?
Also, could you continue on previous thread instead of starting new one please. It’s really helps tracking our conversation and your issue.
Yes, sorry about that – I didn’t see the ‘reply’ button before (I expected to see it in your reply, rather than my original post).
Rather than a screenshot, I’ll give you an example on the site – if you go to the site using the link above, it should load with the nude male dancer image ‘in focus’. Notice how the ‘thumb’/preview looks – then click on the image and you’ll see that the thumb/preview is cropped compared to the full image. I want to know how to set things to that the preview isn’t cropped. Same goes for the first image on the left (of the man and woman) – the preview is cropped compared to the full version.
Is there a way to set the Media settings (or elsewhere) so that all preview images are not cropped? Thanks!
I see. You have to modify image flow script in /js/jquery.ppflip.js
But I will also look for the solution.
My guess is there’s a script conflict and you’ll have to try a different slideshow plugin. You could try changing your permalinks (which you should do anyways) to postname and see if that helps.
My mistake – you’re using the built in shortcode?Try removing the single quotes around the ID number.
Where can I turn on the comments on pages and posts? I’ve set it to “on” on the settings discussion page, and also on the specific page in the Screen Options “Allow Comments” on the specific page, but the comment option still doesn’t show.
Is that something I can adjust within the theme or do you recommend finding a plugin for it?
Comment doesn’t support on page content.
For post content, open Settings > Discussion > Check “Allow people to post comments on new articles “
Thing is, I want people to be able to leave a review here. I thought the easiest way to do that is to allow people to comment on a page. But if a page doesn’t support comments, I might want to turn this into a blog then, instead, and start it off with one post in which I ask for reviews so people can comment on that.
Unless there’s a cool review plugin out there that works with the Core theme. I’ll look into it. Thanks, though!
Again.. many thanks for the reply …
I removed single quotes and still same result. Do you have an example of plugin shortcodes working with this theme?
UPDATE WORDPRESS TO 3.5 AND BLOG DONT WORK PROPERLY!!!!
I have submitted the update to fix issue on Wordpress 3.5 to Themeforest and it’s on review queue. It should be ready to download within tomorrow.
This theme is buggier than the south during summertime. Do the right thing by all those who purchased it and fix it.
The issue on Wordpress 3.5 which came up less than 12 hours ago and I have submitted the fix for that. It’s less than 12 hours…
true story, please make it compatibile to wordpress… that is all i ask thank u
I like your theme a lot but your support is terrible. I have used some other themes where the developer was really helpful but apparently you are avoiding answering a lot of basic questions people are asking.
It is really annoying really.
List of issues needed sorted out:
No menu option shows up when viewing on iphone
Images bleed over the blog sidebar.
Facebook Fan Connect Widget not working.
Compatibility with 3.5
Being able to use images already on the server instead of having to fill your media library with the same image over and over.
I am sure many of you have other issues as well.
Oh man I just updated it 3.5 before I read this feed and I can’t embed any media… But, I bet when you wake up in a few hours that is going to blow your mind and you’ll be on it… Anyway I have a quick question if I purchase Artemus and install the theme will it be easier to transfer my galleries or will I have to remake the galleries like I had to do from Kin to Core?
Upgraded to Wordpress 3.5 and there is a lot of issues with this theme now, such as not being able to drag widgets to sidebars, add images to pages, change publish date etc…
Does anyone have any fixes for this? Will i have to downgrade to wordpress 3.4?
Just downloaded Wordpress 3.5 and having lots of issues!! I see others are having issues as well. Will there be an update soon that will correct these problems?
When will the theme fixes be done for WordPress 3.5?
This is how I downgraded my site on a local server on my computer from 3.5 to 3.4.2
- Make sure you make a complete backup of the Website files as well as the backup. (In another location). Very Important… http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups – Delete everything but “wp-content” and “wp-config.php”. – Get a old copy of WordPress 3.4.2 – Paste everything but “wp-content” and “wp-config.php” – Re-load your website. WordPress will ask you to update database. Click Continue. It will then be loaded with WordPress 3.4.2
Make sure you backup properly. I do not accept responsible for loss of data.
The latest version of theme which fix issues on Wordpress 3.5 is available to download.
Download from Themeforest > your account > downloads and replace all theme’s files and folders using FTP account with the new version.
