Core Minimalist Photography Portfolio

Hi! I uploaded my site to core version 3.7. I had to edit the css a bit cause the homepage image (flow gallery style) hide the menu logo! BUT.. when I add menu items(more than 3), the homepage image hide the menu, and it’s impossible to click on it!!

I don’t know what to do, the site is useless in that way! Can you help me please?

Hello I just purchased Core. Love the theme! Wanted to know how I would go about changing the back ground color from the default white or black to a custom color like a brown.

Is there a way for me to push the flow gallery down by about 50 pixels? Sometimes the images overlap the logo if the screen resolution is set too high.

My logo is a little bigger than yours, but it’s not especially large, and I’m seeing this issue on my monitor.

i have some problems with the new wordpress upgrade. i cant add media files now. can i get some help here ? the forum of the theme is close to discussion, cant get help there…

another big problem…if I add menu items…more than 4…they go down a lot, near the logo remains blank space, the menu items doesn’t function! Also the homepage images cover them Please help. I can’t downgrade now and my site is unusable.

Anyone else having problems with the “Set featured image” and “Add media” function when creating new posts? Since my WordPress update to 3.5 those functions have not worked. Set featured image guides me to a completely new page with just the upload media page, rather than giving a pop-up with the add media page.

Tried deactivating all plugins, problem still there. Tried switching to another theme (default theme), problem solved. I also have another blog running with WordPress 3.2, without any problems. My guess that the problem is somewhere in the theme files.

Would love to see this fixed!

I know I need to update this theme when I update to wordpress 3.5 and Peerapong has issued an update to accommodate the newest version. My question is, will I lose my galleries and customization when I update this theme? Or, are there just a few files I can upload to for the WP 3.5 fix? Thanks!

I’m having the same issue that “grisosky” listed above. But it’s not only the number of items that will cause the issue, but also the length of the words in the menu items. I had to change the names of the links to fix it, but I’d like to put it back. And eventually I also want to add an item to my menu… as it is now, I can’t or it’ll break again.

Is there any way for me to create a full-width page without a sidebar?

Hi, I just purchased and downloaded your template. How do I replace the Core image with my own? Cannot find where to do this from the WP admin dashboard.

When trying to upload the logo and favicon it’s not showing up on the site. I used the same size as your “logo_grey.png” file and uploaded it on the gereral theme setting. Shows current image with delete box, but no images for either the favicon or logo, and neither show up on the website.

I have updated the theme to the latest version, and updated WP to version 3.5. When I enable the theme I am getting the same issue as some other users where the flow gallery on the front page is blocking the menu. Is there a resolution for this?

I got another wish/question. For the homepage I use the ‘flow’ setting to display some pictures. However, now I have 3 photos on this page (this is the max that I want), but I want my center image to be bigger than the other ones. Right now, the left photo is bigger than the others.

Is there a way to make the middle image bigger automatically? This is my URL: http://www.partyreviews.nl/portfolio As you can see, the image with the tiger is bigger, but I want the tower image to be the bigger one and centered.
