does this themes have use “views” module?
the front page “who we are?”, “What do we do?” can it automatic show latest article that we post? or that is only “html code” in block only?

All you see there is based on the Views module. Both blocks you mention, are just 2 contents of a content type named “Home Block”. When you edith them, a content edition page will appear.
On the other hand, if you want to post there the latest article, you can remove those Views and the bottom “Recen News” block will came up. Anyway, If you decide to buy it, I recommend you to evaluate the possibility of keeping the “who we are?”, “What do we do?” blocks and addapt them to your needs. Perhaps a “What’s this?” or just a stats blocks… whatever you might think.
There’s no HTML code inside common blocks on those you see there. Just Views.

You can adjust your CSS styles on the CSS files of the themes for the pages you create with no problem. I.E. if you want to adjust them for the normal screen size, do it on “sites/all/themes/corporate/css/r-screen-layout.css”. About the photogallery, you can do one using Drupal Colorbox plugin. You’ll first need to create a View and then set it up to use ColorBox. It’s a little advanced stuff, but I may assist you if you want (I mean guide you) to get it done.

Of course it can be subthemed, as any other Drupal Theme. Anyway, I recommend you to use it as it is. I’m not planning any major upgrades of 2.0 line ‘cause it’s very attached to Views itself. So if I make an update in the near future, you’ll only need to overwrite the theme folder, so “welcome” if you want to subtheme it.
I have two little questions and I hope you can help.
When I see the site on my desktop my “main menu” is there . But when I check the site on my mobile the main menu is away… so far so good. I checked your demo and there is for the mobile version the “jump main menu” visible. What I hve to do that the jump menu is only to see on the mobile ?
It is possible to display the results in two or three columns when I use the defined views(“Out Products” and “Portfolio Gallery 3…”). But I want ro create my own views. What do I have to do here to display the output in two or three columns ?

About the Views, you can duplicate them, but you’ll need the CSS code that allows the Views to be responsive and work all around with the layout. If yo create new Views, then you’ll need to create new CSS code. Also, if you want to display the content in two or three columns then I’ll have to assist you with a sample (mostly copy/paste already code). Send me a private message.
My current project calls for a multilingual site. Will this theme work well with the popular Multilingual modules? I.e. Locale (core), Content Translation (core), Localization update, Localization client, Internationalization, and Variable? I looked through the FAQ and main page description and didn’t notice any notes regarding multilingual support.

I haven’t used CorporateX for a multilingual site and I didn’t build the theme for supporting a language switcher, I mean, you have to do it iby your own CSS codes and place it where you want it.
Supporting the modules I can tell you it will. As it is Drupal, every modules works, of course. I recommend you to use i18n, is the one I use for building multilingual sites. The combination you mention is the best for doing it. I’ve worked a lot with i18n and variable.
Once again, you’ll have to place the CSS codes and adjutsing the look and feel of the switcher by our own. Of course, I could assis you on where.

So just to be sure, do you foresee any problems with placing a language switcher on the front page? I’m a Drupal newbie so once I get to that part I would appreciate tips with the CSS and placement.
It should not be a huge problem. Anice place for doing it might be just under the top bar, left or right aligned.

Yes, you only need to update it as regularly Drupal does. I will update the downloadable packagge soon, but it’s 100% compatible.

Hi! Minor bug report, not on the theme itself, but on the documentation (http://demos.doublemthemes.com/corporatex/documentation/2/). When I view the docs in Chrome, the text is quite small. When I use Chrome’s zoom to increase the font size, the text doesn’t increase in size.
I’m going to check this out. The documentations was generated using an app recommended by ThemeForest staff for it via http://revaxarts-themes.com/documenter/.

In the included documentation, subsection “Technical details”, a bullet point indicates compatibility with IE 7 . However, the page on ThemeForest says IE 8 . Perhaps the included documentation out of date?

I am following the instructions to set up my jQuery slider, but I don’t have any pre-built views under Views. Should they have been created at install, or do I need to create my own slideshow views?

If you don’t see any view, I suppose the database backup included with the package wasn’t loaded.
Did you selected the “Corporate X Installation Profile” described on step 3 of Intallation instructions? http://demos.doublemthemes.com/corporatex/documentation/2/#!/installing
If you choose another one, then all the included Views + Modules + Slideshow + Features won’t work.
I did use the install profile. The views module, etc., did install—just no accompanying defined views.

I don’t have a public URL , as I am testing this on my local laptop server. After I test, I’m rolling it to production.
Maybe I’m not following the instructions perfectly. First, when I unzipped the zip file into my web root directory, Drupal didn’t give me the install profile option, so I unzipped the corporate* theme zip file into the webroot directory, and it picked it up. I selected the option, and it installed the modules, but not the data.
Also, on my live site, Drupal is installed via Softlacus. How do we install this package via Softlacus?
I think there might be the problem. The theme comes with drupal itself + the modules. If you want to install it over a softaculous one, you should overwrite every file.
Just exctract “corporatex_2.1.zip” file on your server and access it via your browser. There is where you need to select the installation Profile.

I didn’t specify, I didn’t use Softlacus on my test bed. I will use it when I install the production system. For my test bed, I followed the instructions and it didn’t seem to work.

Yes, I recommend you to clean all and start installing again.
What directory should I place the Theme Documentation and Theme Files in?
Extract on any folder on your web root, perhaps named “cx2”, the zip file inside “Theme Files”.
Then access it via your web browser.

About the Softaculous, just overwrite every file and then upgrade to Drupal 7.14 again. I’m releasing an update of Corporate X with Drupal 7.14 soon, but as it is really simple to upgrade, haven’t been so hurried up.

Yes, everything did install—I’m sorry I forgot to post that. I had a file permission issue first (since the paths assume Windows and I’m on Linux), but I fixed them and all is perfect!

Just purchased and am now trying to install theme on a hosted server that only gives me access to the admin menu.
The zip isnt uploading at Home>>Administration + Install new theme. It says there’s no .info file.
Am thinking I wont be able to use the theme in this type of hosted environment . Am I right or is there some way around this?

There’s no problem with upgrades. The Corporate X package contains a drupal where you can start from. The only requirement is that the admins overwrite your current installation with your current package. If not, you have another alternative:
1 – Upload only the files and folders on /sites/*
2 – Via phpMyAdmin (let me know if you have access) just drop all the tables and restore the backup located on /profiles/corporate_x/corporate_x.sql on your package of Corporate X.
3 – Once you finish the process, access your site, it should work ok.

Yes, you can change the default font. Just be careful with the visual balance.

Just access the content type display settings under http://yoursite.com/admin/structure/types/manage/services/display
And jump over the “Related Products” to the “Hidden Fields” right above it.
