Hi, I can’t seem to find how and where I can assign my services or portfolio page to a page type “showcase”. It’s probably really obvious but I can’t find it

I can´t make the slider to work, wtf am I doing wrong? I created the Portfolio page and asigned the Showcase template and then I created an example page as a child page of Portfolio with an image and it doesn´t shows up on the slider.

I found the error, everything is cool now. Now the only thing is that the NEXT PROJECT button is flying at the right side of the website where nobody cares, the image has the exact dimension is needed and the text is 4 lines long, so I don´t know what is pushing the button that far.

I’m having the same problem with the slider. I’m getting two Javascript errors: #sliders is null in index.php and #main_navigation li is null in navigation.js. I’m shown only the latest child page. The next project button is not working.

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Hi, I fixed everything, this guy takes to long to answer our questions regarding his theme.

Now I have one request: How can I make the testimonial block to display random testimonials with a fade effect. That would be nice.

@herbertconsulting I´ve just added more than one project and the button went to his normal possition, I didnt need to change or tweak anything.

Found the solution for my previous request for rotating in a Ajax way the Testimonials block.

Having a problem with the feature page. I’ve set up the subpages but they do not appear in the feature page, it remains blank.

Any ideas?

The theme dosn´t work with the new WP 2 .8! I send him a mail. Hope he fix it …

I just upgraded to 2.8.3 and feature page doesn’t work. So I made the following changes and it worked. I am not the author so this is obviously not officially supported.

Open theme editor and select “Showcase Page Template”. Change this line:

if($wp_query->post->ID $parent){

To this:

if($my_query->post->post_parent $parent){

Save. Next open the file “Main Index Template”. Change this line:

if( $wp_query->post->post_parent == get_option(‘tn_parent_slide’)||in_category(get_option(‘tn_parent_slide’))&&$i<=get_option(‘tn_max_slide’) ){

To this:

if( $my_query->post->post_parent == get_option(‘tn_parent_slide’)||in_category(get_option(‘tn_parent_slide’))&&$i<=get_option(‘tn_max_slide’) ){

I am basically changing all the $wp_query parameters to $my_query.

I have 2 questions about this themes.

1. Is it possible to have a dropdown menu on the top menu bar for sub-pages ?

2. When I add widgets to the home page they all show up with the same (coffee cup) icon.. how can I change this to allow me have different icons showing?
