Hey, thank you for your purchase. But unfortunately Countie was not designed for Joomla 3.0. To have the theme to work with Joomla or any other CMS, it would have to be built as template.
I would suggest having Countie on your root directory `/` and have your Joomla in a sub/separate directory `/mysite/`.
That way, when you’re ready to launch your official site, you can move your Joomla over to the root.

The date should be in a MM/DD/YYYY format, so May 10th 2013 would look like this, 05/10/2013.
So your line 19, should look like this now; date: ‘05/10/2013 12:00:00’,
