Hello, I have a question regarding this wonderful theme.
Upon reading the other comments I understand that changing the entire thumbnail from landscape/horizontal to portrait/vertical would not be possible without some major coding knowledge. However, was wondering if it would be possible to direct where on the image the landscape thumbnail is taken from? I.e, display the top portion of the photo for the thumbnail as opposed to cropping it directly in the center.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have created an account on the support site. However, it states that I must have a purchase code. Have not yet purchased this theme, as many of my photos are portraits and was wondering what my options were concerning thumbnails. If there is another way I can submit a request through the help-desk, without having purchased the theme, would be happy to do so.

Hi, following on from WooCommerce compatibility, the ecommerce functionality doesn’t necessarily have to be integrated with the structure of the actual theme.
is there any definite barrier to even just setting up eCommerce functionality separately on a dedicated products post-type (using the painting / photograph as the featured image), then pulling in each ‘Product’ onto a dedicated ‘page’ or ‘post’ within the theme?
My client really likes your theme, and not any other, but he requires to sell his artwork from it. I can custom code it in. Would be prepared to give it to work with your development team to find out a way of achieving the above.

Technically its possible to add to e.g. portfolio posts “purchase” button that will redirect user to some third-party commerce solution…
But please note that we designed Crea to be small fancy portfolio. Making a shopping solution on it can be real pain in ass (sorry
)

Thanks, I managed to The CartPress (TCP) free WP ecommerce plugin to work with it out of the box. Just needed to use the TCP shortcodes on the relevant posts to add the BUY button eg. [tcp_buy_button post_id=81]

Hi, Crea is “one-page-temlate” therefore Google indexes all first-level menu items as single page.
