Excellent Template!

Clean, well documented and easy to customize.

Thanks jrm

Is the Blog CMS or manual html data entry?

Thanks

rjoshicool

@cmykdesign: being an HTML /CSS template, all the data is static, so the blog needs to be updated manually. You can definitely convert it into a Wordpress or Joomla theme to suit your requirement.

I really like this template. I don’t have any way to use it at this point, but man every time I look at this template I’m like “wow this is a nice clean low ceremony template”

Great theme, very beautiful and will work great for my company.

Question: I cannot get the main page’s email subscription page request to forward to my personal address.

How do I go about adding people to an email list that does not yet exist? This is for a new company.

rjoshicool

Thanks for purchasing the template “krismansour”. The Email subscription fields are just static and doesn’t include any server side scripting to process the email subscriptions.

Hi, very nice template!

I want to use a second list style type. It should be only squares.

How can i solve this?

Can you post the css?

Thanks a lot!

Hi rjoshicool,

thanks for your answer. I have solved the problem with a second list.

Now there is a another problem: If i write a textlink in the “work-list” i get the mouse-over effect with the large picture preview.

Is it possible to write a link without effect?

Thanks!

rjoshicool

Hello Roland,

I looked into the new issue you mentioned and it’s tricky one. I have come up with a possible solution, but there can be more options also.
1. By default the class of all the links is: “fancybox”. Change this to something like “fancybox1” for the link you want no image.
2. Then change the work-list settings in the custom-work.js to something like this:
$(”.work-list li a.fancybox”).

This should do the thing.

Hi rjoshicool,

o.k. thanks – now it works fine!

Another little problem: The red dotted ink-underline will be shown at the fancy-slideshow under the cross to close the window.

Any idea?

border-bottom: 0; in jquery.fancybox-1.3.1.css at #fancybox-close style declaration

Hello rjoshicoll,

hi, this is my last problem:

There are CSS margin problems on IE6 with floating DIV in the Site work.

Do you have a solution in the css?

Thanks!

rjoshicool

@Roland: IE6 is not supported by the template but you can definitely update the css and make it compatible with IE6

Hi Love this template – thanks. can you please explain how to fix the ul problem with IE6 . It doesnt like the -‘ve margin! Thanks

Scrap that, i had a capital L in the logo.png file. all sorted now.

Thanks.

Great template. Is there a way to change the width…it looks lame on laptop.

rjoshicool

Yes you can definitely change the width but in order to do that you need to make changes at quite a few places.

Hi rjoshicool,

Very nice template, just one question, what should i do or modify to have special characters like: á é í ó ú ñ ?

Thanks

Hi, rjoshicool thanks for the reply. Sorry i was not very specific, this is only happening with the cufon font, where “natural” fonts are used, special characters work fine, but not for example in the home tagline.

This happened for another template and all we did is replaced a .js file (cufon-fonts.js provided by the seller) and it started working. Maybe you can point me where to generate this files with the added special characters.

I also tried with the link you provided but it doesnt work either, maybe using a different font? well basically any other solution, althought the font you selected would be ideal. Thanks.
