Colours on search results page
Hi,
I’ve just done a search which returns zero results see: http://www.unconsultancy.com/?s=dropcap
You will see that it is white text on a light background. I can’t workout where to change either the text colour of background. I expect it is obvious but I can’t think. Can you help?

Theme alerts by default go on dark color background. Check this example: http://demo.cuckoothemes.com/cuckootap/light/?s=dropcap
The solution is to change the font color of alerts: go Dashboard > CuckooTap > Theme Fonts > Alerts Font
As for exclamation mark image, it should be changed manually. You can find it in CuckooTap/Images/no_works.png and for retina version CuckooTap/Images/retina/no_works@2x.png

So your default theme alerts on dark background look good. Have I changed something that means that no longer happens on my site?
So the question is how do I cx the background back to the nice blue?
You should go to: Dashboard > CuckooTap > Color Settings > Primary Color
Alerts background is included in Primary Color group. So you need to change it to #5595ce
But then you’ll have to change your logo color.

Just checked our online demo gallery http://demo.cuckoothemes.com/cuckootap/dark/portfolio-4-columns/ and type exclude option is functioning well.
Please make sure you’re using Portfolio 2 Columns or Portfolio 4 Columns template (not the ones by work type). Then go Dashboard > CuckooTap > Portfolio Gallery > Portfolio Page Templates and enter a comma-separated list of Types of Works that you want to exclude from displaying in your Works Gallery. Example: Type1, Type2, Type3. Also check documentation file on page 47.
If this doesn’t help, please try disabling all third party plugins and test your site again. If this doesn’t help again, please send us your WP login info (or create new user with admin rights) using contact form in our profile page on ThemeForest.

Great theme and support, very happy with it so far. One request though, is there any way to have it go directly to a lightbox gallery from the works unit rather than having it go to a separate page and then clicking on the picture to get to the lightbox gallery? Portfolio template uses “portfolio” ID so for your portfolio url you should use another ID (slug). For example http://www.elfny.com/#portfolio-home
Remember to update homepage portfolio unit slug to #portfolio-home.

You can set custom background for all theme pages, but not separately for every single page.

Hi there,
there seems to be a problem with the navigation and scrolling on the homepage. When clicking back to a section on the homepage (for example: http://demo.cuckoothemes.com/cuckootap/dark/#our-services) from a subpage (for example: http://demo.cuckoothemes.com/cuckootap/dark/portfolio-4-columns/) the page is not scrolled to this section but showing the top of the homepage.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this cannot be fixed as all parallax pages function like this. The problem is that when you click on the link in subpage, the site opens homepage and goes directly to the chosen ID without waiting until all site content will load, so sometimes it misses right position. But when you click the second time on the same link when homepage previously was already loaded it works. The only suggestion could be to use the site as one page site.

Love the theme! Just wrapping up a couple issues before pushing the site broadly:
1. On the contact form, I’m consistently getting the error: “An error has occurred while sending your email!” It looks like you pushed a bug fix for this a while back, but no luck on my end.
2. I’m having a strange issue where I can’t get the site to render single-page. I’ve updated the menu in Dashboard > Menus to use the unit slugs that i created in the homepage builder, but clicking on the menu links doesn’t do anything – site just sits there.
