Generally the slider supports links to each of the images (you can see an example on the third image here) and you can insert any type of link in there.

I have tested the theme with the plugin – I have tested all the main functionality, such as creating different pages (gallery, page with slider, blog etc.) and everything was working well. The only minor thing is that if you decide to use a language switcher in a drop-down layout in the sidebar, a small CSS modification will be required for the drop-down display. Otherwise a standard switcher with list of the languages or a menu switcher work very well.

P.S. This CSS is not part of the theme’s CSS – it may be generated by a plugin, so if you can’t find the file, you may try to overwrite it with some additional rules.

P.S. The theme looks and works well on mobile devices. However if you really want to convert the layout, it will require quite lots of additional work, so you may also consider using a mobile theme plugin that will be displayed on mobile devices only.
Hi!! I love the theme.. MAJOR frustration at one thing tho.. Why does the background of the body text have a gradient? I’m trying to make it a solid black.. but it keeps giving me a gradient with grey in it. Please help!!

P.S. Removing this gradient is very easy – it requires just a very small modification.
Hi, I really like the theme but have the following questions before purchasing:
- As I need the page to be available in 2 languages: Does the theme fully support the “qTranslate”-plugin. With other wordpress themes we had serious problems when translating single elements inside sliders, widgets, sidebars, custom menus. (Or do you recommend another language plugin?) - Does the theme support “Google XML Sitemaps v3 for qTranslate”-plugin? - Does the theme support relative paths? \subfolder\picture1.jpg or does it use absolute paths?

Here are my answers:
- I have done some basic testing with the plugin before (not extensive) – generally all of the main features should be working well. I have just tested the custom menus and a sidebar widget – I used the qTranslate quick tags (as I did a research, I found that that’s the main way to do it with the plugin) and they worked well. Regarding the sliders, it may require using the qTranslate quick tags as well and a small modification to translate these tags, as the slider description is not added as a post content. Otherwise, another plugin that I can recommend is WPML.
- I haven’t used this plugin before, but generally the theme is built according to the best plugin compatibility practices, so it should be okay to use the plugins you like.
- It depends on which sections, but generally yes. Only on the blog section if you need to set a featured image, WordPress requires to upload the image trough the Media upload, so it will require using the full image URL.
trying to upload the demo-exported.xml file and keep getting errors on line 91 – how do i fix this?
disappointed that this theme isn’t plug and play as such, because what I can see on my site and what the demo site looks like is very very different.

P.S. WordPress doesn’t export absolutely all of the settings and content, so it is possible to see some differences. As we mentioned in the read me file, the theme is very easy to set so we always recommend to set it in the way you like, rather than importing all of the demo content that you will have to delete after that.

Hello Pexetto,
A year ago I bought your theme Dandelion. Although it was the first time I created a site with Wordpress, I had not problems until a month ago.
Someone hack my site. Change the content and block access to admin. Those responsible for the hosting service solved the problem and everything is back to work. Last week turned the difficulty accessing the admin and now the hosting company has suspended my account.
They say the reason is:
“a security issue in wordpress template. / wp-content/themes/dandelion/functions/timthumb.php Someone have uploaded some files that affect the workforce. “
To solve the problem the hosting company offers:
“Install an updated template or delete that and put something different”
Is that possible? Can you advise me to do?

P.S. Dandelion includes the latest secure version of Timthumb (2.8.11) which doesn’t contain any known security vulnerabilities, in fact Timthumb used to have a security vulnerability – it was found in August 2011 and as soon as the Timthumb developers released an update, we implemented the updated secure version into the theme. Since then we have released many updates of the theme to include the latest and most secure version of Timthumb, so I don’t think the problem is related with Timthumb or the theme – it is very likely that someone gained access to your installation or server in another way. Anyway, we can discuss this further on our support site, but also when posting can you please provide detailed information of your installation – version of the theme installed, plugins installed, the full info from your hosting support, etc. Also, please make sure that you have the latest version of the theme installed – you can download it from the Downloads section of your profile.

I have a question, i could not find the answer in your support database. If i make a ‘neste’d’ page/sub menu page the arrows appear for the menu item but does not show the page beneeth. Can you tell me how to resolve this.

The theme uses the WordPress Custom Menus functionality, so please make sure that you have set the menu correctly within the “Apperance” -> “Menus” section as explained in the “The Menu” section of the documentation.

P.S. The last version of the Nivo slider jQuery plugin is responsive, so you may consider replacing the one embedded in the theme with that one.
