Thanks Rebecca!

Great looking theme! Definately keeping this one in mind for an upcoming project. Well done.

Artivity

Great – Thanks. Let me know if you have any queries as and when the time comes.

Jason

Great looking theme- Does it have any other shortcodes like tabs and formatting other than columns?

Artivity

Hi Desertsnowman – thanks.

I’ve only implemented columns as shortcodes for now. The column shortcodes can be used in conjunction with the visual editor so didn’t see the need to add formatting shortcodes. No tabs though unfortunately.

Finally…. u’ve done the right thing. This is gonna be a hot seller.

Artivity

Fingers crossed ;)

There is no Debonair at the right menu and I’ve got these warnings :

Warning: include(/functions/theme-options.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\AppServ\www\wp_thamawij\wp-content\themes\Debonair\functions.php on line 1

Hi thamawij,

Could I please get you to open the functions.php file in the debonair folder and change the first line to the following:

<?php include(“functions/theme-options.php”); ?>

Just want to see if removing the first slash makes a difference for you. Let me know please.

meepeek Purchased

The issue was fixed by replacing the 1st line of functions.php :

replace

<?php include(”/functions/theme-options.php”); ?>

with

<?php include(“functions/theme-options.php”); ?>

But there still be this warning :

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at C:\AppServ\www\wp_thamawij\wp-content\themes\Debonair\header.php:15) in C:\AppServ\www\wp_thamawij\wp-content\themes\Debonair\header.php on line 59

Artivity

Looks like you beat me to it – sorry about that thamawij.

Artivity

thamawij – Looking into the second issue now for you.

Artivity

thamawij – I am in the process of updating the files and uploading to ThemeForest. In the mean time can you please email me from my contact page so I can send you the solution directly?

Thanks, Jason

Thanks for quick support. I really appreciate. +1 from me.

Does the theme support a secondary nav bar at the top?

Artivity

No, sorry.

Right then – just to let everyone know that the issues mentioned above have now been resolved and files updated to ensure nobody else experiences such issues.

Can you upload some screenshots of the admin panel?

campuscodi

Thank you. That does the job. We will buy this for our client as soon as we hammer out the other details. Great work.

I’m interested in this theme as well, here’s my question: when customizing the home page are you using one page chosen in the theme setting and just write everything there, are there are some additional places where you write content to connect it as the final page. I’m asking as my current theme sets home page from various places (one for left side, right side, head section etc.) which gets me mad.

Second question: is there any theme admin or something and if so I would also like to see the screenshots of it.

Last question: are the slides allowing use of the text over images and html like inserting buttons?

I’m looking for fast reply as I’m really up to buy it.

Thanks

Mike

Hi adroyal,

The home page content is configurable from the Debonair admin page. It’s split into three sections but all on the same page…

  • Home Page Welcome Banner
  • Home Page Banner Images
  • Home Page Lower Banner Section

Admin screenshots:

Thanks,
Jason

Two questions before I buy:

(1) Are the sections on the home page fully configurable, or do I have to keep the three columns I see there/

(2) Unlimited sidebars?

Artivity

Hi David,

The three columns under the welcome/image banner by default are excerpts from inner pages. You can however disable these three columns from the Debonair options page and have some arbitrary text in there which could be a single line or paragraph.

The three footer columns can be disabled completely or have widgets in place of the default options. By default they are set as latest blog post, page excerpt and newsletter.

As for the sidebars there are two sidebar options, one for the content pages with sidebar enabled and one for the blog pages.

Thanks,
Jason

One look and I had to buy. Thanks for breaking away from the look that so many other corporate style wordpress sites are and have been for the last couple years!

I will rate after installing ~ J

Artivity

Thanks j007pace. If you have any queries feel free to ask in here or through the contact form on my profile page.

Jason

Hey

Just bought and installed, how do I get the menu pages in the order that I want and not in alphabetical order

Thx

J

Artivity

Hi J,

All you have to do is edit the “Order” field when editing or creating a page. So for example if you want “Example Page” to be the 1st item in the menu then you would go to “Pages” in the Dashboard, select “Example Page” and enter “1” in the “Order” field within the “Page Attributes” box.

Site setup was a breeze… but I’m surprised that the main menu is not supported by Wprdpress menu manager….. or am I missing something?

Artivity

Hi J – When I started developing this theme I felt that it was one less thing for you guys to have to set up. This will be an ongoing project so will put this on the list of things to do.

Hello,

i love this theme and am keen to purchase. Just one question….

Is it possible and/or easy to edit the current 3 column widget area at the bottom so that it is only one widget that fits the width of the page?

Cheers

Artivity

Hi ob6056 – At the moment that area is set to be the default three columns, completely disabled (hidden) or any of those columns can be overridden by a widget. The idea of having the full width of that area covered by a single section of content is something I will make sure is available in the next release.

Thanks very much for your quick reply.

do you know roughly when that next release might be? Cheers

Great theme. Installation and setup was a breeze. Thank you!

One thing I can’t figure out is how to customize the contact form. I want users to have a more customized set of inputs so I can find out more about their needs for their businesses when asking about my services. Is this possible?

I mentioned this via e-mail 3 days ago about the problem which some header and title do not show Thai language.

Finally, I’ve found that the Cufon tag makes this theme header not support variety languages. The banner, 3 columns headers and breadcrumb have the tag. I suggest CSS3 @font-face would be the better choice to fix the font style on the client machine since the server could send specific font to the client machine directly.

I could not find where the cufon tags are generated. Where is it ?

Artivity

Thamawij, I don’t work over weekends hence not been able to provide support for you until now. I will reply to your email now.

Thanks.

Artivity

The “Calibri” font does not support Thai so you will need to disable Cufon as stated in the documentation.

Hi, I tried to install this theme but it failed due to a missing styesheet. Go easy on me I’m relatively new to wordpress :-)

Artivity

Hi jg1,

Did you follow the instructions in the documentation? You need to extract all the files from the main zip file downloaded from here then do the following:

  • Go to the WordPress Dashboard and click "Appearance" on the left
  • Click "Install Themes" (Second tab at the top in the main section)
  • Click "Upload"
  • Click the "Choose File" button and locate the "Debonair.zip" file that was extracted
  • Click "Install Now"
  • Click Activate

Let me know how you get on. I can assure you and everyone else there are no missing stylesheets.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the quick response Jason. As I suspected it was a “user error”. Your instructions worked perfectly. I didn’t read the instructions in the documentation (my bad). Thanks again for your help.

Artivity

Glad you got it sorted.
