Do you have a master photoshop template? I purchased and there’s just web elements. It would be a great option to design it fully so that you can just make the adjustments via photoshop before plugging in the template code.

Gifky

Hi SdAdamH,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, there is only elements PSD files no full layout PSD , as changing colors, banner pictures, etc… can be done in the elements PSD without the need for full layout PSD . Will be considering this feature in the next templates.

Hi,

Our newsletter using this awesome template keeps getting caught by Gmail anti-spam :s Any ideas ?? (we only changed the content, nothing more)

Gifky

Hi EtienneDepaulis,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, please make sure to change the location of all links like (view online, forward to a friend, read more, etc…) to the actual location which you want it to point to [instead of the default href=”#”] this should make it not caught by Gmail anti-spam.

Same with unsubscribe link it must point to actual page which handles the unsubscribe process or remove it totally.

Feel free to contact me via my profile contact form if you need any additional help.

Regards.

Hey,

We’ve done all this (on top of replacing all alt=”” in imgs). The unsubscribe link is managed by CampaignMonitor and even the SPF test is passed. Any other clues ?

Thanks for your help Cheers

Gifky

Hi EtienneDepaulis,

Try to place extra unsubscribe link at the top of the email besides the default one at the bottom, also try to send me copy gifkynet [@] gmail.com and i’ll check it out.

hi,

template is great, nice and simple and works! one question: If I purchase this and ammend it for a client, can they distribute emails using it as many times as they like on a regular license?

Gifky

Hi sykoste,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, please check out this article. If your client will use the email for newsletter series (for his company) then regular license is enough.

Regards.

Hi, really great work !! Question: I have a small white line under the block with the big photo at the right. The white line apears in Hotmail and Gmail. I added a fix (style=”display:block;”) but it didn’t work.

Have you got a solution? If you want, I have a screenshot for you.

Thanks Mark

Gifky

Hi Mark,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, have to tried to reduce the text content on the left side? if not please try again with reducing one line of the text. If the problem not fixed please send me copy and screenshot to gifkynet {@]gmail.com also please let me know which program you are using to send the newsletter.

Regards.

I really like this design. Before I purchase I need to find out if any of the areas repeatable? If so, which ones?

Gifky

Hi kimmersnc,

All of the areas of the newsletter are repeatable. The code is well commented so you can see where the content block starts and ends.
To repeat any content you just need to copy what’s between starting and ending comment. This process is covered in the help file of the product.

Hi! I just wanted to say that the template is great. I have tried to change elements from one of the templates to another one. And it was really easy. Really good feedback and service aswell from Gifky. Thanks! Ola

Gifky

Hi Ola,

Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it :)

I am having issues in Outlook with an email. I sent a test through Constant Contact and there is a random separator in the middle of one block. It doesn’t show up on the HTML version online, only in Outlook for my test email. Any ideas why this would happen? Ben

Gifky

Hi bluegrace,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, make sure there is no empty spaces in the HTML where that separator appears, if the problem still not solved please send me copy of the HTML and a screenshot of the problem to gifkynet {@} gmail.com

Hi!

If i upload the html with the images in a ZIP file, i can’t edit the text in mailchimp anymore with the visual editor. Is there a way i can still edit text in the mailchimp visual editor or should i do that in dreamweaver or something before uploading the zip file?

Thanks. Edwin

Gifky

Hi Edwin,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, you must add to the body tag mc:edit as explained in the documentation to be able to edit the newsletter in Mailchimp’s visual editor.

Regards.

is there a mailchimp version (out of the box), no editing or adjusting?

Gifky

Hi i3marketing,

You just need to add one attribute to the body then update unsubscribe, forward, and view online with the corresponding merge tags which can be selected from the merge tags dropdown in Mailchimp’s visual editor, you will be able to edit all the text and images in the visual editor, if you want to add/remove content blocks you can switch to the code editor.

Hi – great work.

Can i use these email templates on any Email marketing software ? I’m currently using SendBlaster to send mailshots. http://www.sendblaster.com/

But i’m not very happy with any in-built custom choice of templates.

I want to be able to use other designs.

Thanks.

Gifky

Hi Peaceonearth,

Yes you can use this email template in SendBlaster as referenced here.

Regards.

Thanks. Do you mind telling me diff btwn Del Mail & Del. Mail 2 ?

I’m looking templates for a PC Retailer, so i want something more inclined to “Technology style” templs.

Thanks.

Gifky

Hi Peaceonearth,

The differences between Delicious Mail 1 & 2 are the layouts, and both can fit PC Retailer newsletter, just choose the one with the layouts you like more.

Regards.

Hi,

1. Can this template be used with Aweber?

2. Can this template be changed to square corners instead of round?

Thanks for your answer.

Gifky

Hi lfarrow,

Yes Delicious Mail can be used with Aweber, corners can be changed to square, all you need to do is edit it in the PSD elements file.

Regards.

Hello,

I have a pre-purchase question. I am a bit unsure of the difference between Delicious Mail and Delicious Mail 2.

The only difference I can see so far is that not all layouts are part of DM2 (for example: http://gifky.com/LivePreview/?theme=Delicious%20Mail ) are there any other differences?

Gifky

Hi 1Wolf1,

Thanks for your interest in Delicious Mail, both have the same style & colors, the difference between them are the layouts, each one of them has different layouts than the other, you can choose the one which suits you more.

Regards.

Hi

I’ve followed all your instructions precisely, but when I try import the zip file into MailChimp, it tells me ‘The archive was empty or otherwise corrupt’. I have used both WinZip and WinRar, and tested the zipped folder on several computers. It is not corrupt. Is there something I’m missing in the zip process? Please let me know.

Thanks

I figured it out. I was trying to zip the images folder with the layout html, rather than all the individual images with the html. You might want to make that more clear in your instructions. Although I am a newbie when it comes to zipping. Thanks for a great template.

Gifky

Hi teethstraight,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail, glad you sorted it out, in general if you zip the layout HTML file plus the images folder which includes all images that should work in Mailchimp.

Regards.

Back again. So it seems that because the html src for all the images is telling it to look for an images folder (which does exist because MailChimp would not accept a zipped file containing folders), none of the images are showing up now. Did you test this template with MailChimp? Maybe they’ve made changes since you did? Do I really need to go edit all src=”images/file.jpg” to src=file.jpg? Please let me know.

Gifky

Hi teethstraight,

Just compress the HTML + the images folder including all the images and make sure no spaces in images names/folder names and go to Mailchimp, in the “Dashboard” click on “My Templates” button, “Code Your Own”, “Import Zip File”.

If the issue still not solved send the zip file to gifkynet {@} gmail.com so I can investigate that issue.

Regards.

Default-user

Thanks. I got it working. I think my problem had to do with spacing in the file name of the html.

Gifky

Glad you sorted it out :)

Great templates for mail marketing :))

Hi dcarrero,

Thanks for your interest in Delicious Mail. In order to use it in the mentioned website you need to purchase a proper license.

Hey guys.

Just wanted to chime in and mention that this is some fine work. Probably the best email theme on Themeforest. Certainly the best I’ve taken a look at. You’ve seriously got nearly every occasion covered.

One thing I would pay good money for that nobody here is doing: A classy looking email receipt theme. Seriously. Something that I can send my customers, and have them think, “Boy, that shop is sexy.” I’ve been looking for one all day, and it doesn’t exist. I can’t be the only buyer to notice this.

Food for thought.

Anyway, Thank you for the great looking email theme, and all the useful variations therein. I’m really looking forward to using it daily.

Gifky

Hi amazingsammy,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail and for your great feedback, really appreciate it :)

I will keep in mind the idea for email receipt theme in the future items.

Hi Gifky, Thank you for a wonderful template. I’ve managed to upload the file into Mailchimp but i’m having two problems. This is what i’ve done thus far, I’ve made a separate zip file for the html layout (10) and placed it with a copy of the images folder and zipped that particular file. I’ve edited the images in Photoshop and saved them (for web) into that file with the one layout. My problems are:

1.When I upload it to mailchimp the images are broken

2. I can’t use the visual editor even though I’ve added the mc:edit into the html of that particular layout.

I appreciate your help!

Hi Arbel,

Thanks for purchasing Delicious Mail 2, I was just answering your email when saw your comment :)

Glad you managed to edit and update the images and upload the template to Mailchimp. You have zipped the html file and the added images folder and zipped them together again? If yes that would be the reason images are not read. If that’s not the case please send me to gifkynet {at} gmail.com the zip file you are uploading to Mailchimp so I can check what is the problem.

Regards.

Default-user

Gifky, Well, what i’ve done is put the images that i replaced from editing them in photoshop and placed them in the images folder that i zipped together with the html file. Is this correct? I’m not sure where the images that I edited in photoshop are supposed to go, because every time i save it, as instructed in your how to, it creates another images folder within the images folder. So, what I thought would be the best practice is to just replace the images in the original images folder with the images that i edited and then copy the single images folder into the zipped file with the layout. Is that correct?

Also, I still can’t edit it in mailchimp, i did notice however, that even though I placed the code correctly in the layout, mailchimp adds =”” after the mc:edit.

Thank you!

Please send me the zip file to email address I mentioned in previous comment and I will see what could be the reason.
