Hi,

I get troubles when I use the quickstart. I want to use joomla 2.5, but when I upload the quickstart folder in the server I have an error “Magic Quotes GPC Off” -> No and it seems that it could be -> Yes to start the install.

Have you any idea about this issue ?

I just see that the Quickstart is for 3.3 joomla version :) But that error wouldn’t be present isn’t it ?

Hi boiteamedia,

Thank you for purchasing DestinyFX :)
Please have in mind that the one and only place for Support is our Support Forum:

Anyway, regarding the issue you experiece – yes, the Quickstart Package comes on Joomla 3.3 :) The “Magic Quotes” must be disabled, this is a Joomla requirement:

http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html

Just contact your Hosting Support and ask them to disable the “Magic Quotes” :)

I strongly recommend you using Joomla 3.3, there is no point to use Joomla 2.5 which will be out of Support from December 2014. But if you want to use Joomla 2.5, then you will need to install DestinyFX manually – just have a look at the “Installation” Chapter in the Documentation.

If you have any problems or questions, just open a new Discussion in our Support Forum ;)

Hi! First of all great template.

I have only one problem. I have a Joomla 3.3 multilanguage site, and I have problem with com_roksprocket and translation of Read More button that is right under every item of mosaic portfolio. I added the translation for my second language into /public_html/components/com_roksprocket/layouts/mosaic/language So everything is fine when I open link of portfolio page. I see everything in my language, but as soon as I click on one of the filter buttons in “sprocket-mosaic-filter” section all the loaded items that corespond to this tag get english link saying: “read more”. This means that there is some problem with ajax, it is not checking what is the current language is or it is not loading the language files at all? I’m not begginer and I already fixed some of the components/modules (in different templates) that had the same problem by adding this couple of lines: $lang = JFactory::getLanguage(); $extension = ‘com_roksprocket’; $base_dir = JPATH_SITE; $language_tag = $lang->getTag(); $reload = true; $lang->load($extension, $base_dir, $language_tag, $reload);

It just didn’t work here. Maybe I placed it in the wrong place?

Please help!

Anyway, please register at our Support Forum and have a look at this Discussion. It explains everything about the Roksprocket translation and how to have the “Read More” button translated :)

If for some reason you are not able to solve the issue by following the steps in the above Discussion, please open a new Discussion in our Support Forum and I will have a look. Thanks :)

Hi masaylov,

Thank you for purchasing DestinyFX :)

Anyway, the Documentation (Manual) is included in the Download Package. Once you download the package from Themeforest you need to UNZIP it and there you will find everything. One of the folders is “Documentation”. Open this folder and double-click on the “index.html” file – the Documentation will open in your browser :)
