Hi,
Is it possible to upgrade Virtuemart without breaking stuff up? After quick install Virtuemart is on version 2.0.10. Current Virtuemart version is 2.0.18. Purchased templates in the past which would break up after upgrading components/modules. For the rest: Great template!

Its current VM version is 2.0.14 (if you have downloaded DiabloFX v1.3). Anyway, please send me an email to joomfxdesign@gmail.com with screenshots and detailed explanation what exactly is breaking up. Then I will need some time (few days) and will release DiabloFX v1.4 which will be using VM2.0.18. I am waiting for your response 
Hi, Thanks fot the quick reply. Nothing is breaking up so far, but i haven’t upgraded yet. Is it okay to download DiabloFX v1.3 and do a manual upgrade of all the files via FTP, because the website is near completion to go live, don’t have the time to set everything up again.

Yes, if you have NOT modified any of the files in “root/templates/diablofx” you just need to download DiabloFX v1.3, copy the “root/templates/diablofx” folder and overwrite yours. Then upgrade the VM component. Please MAKE A BACKUP before doing this 
Everything should be working fine but please have in mind that DiabloFX v1.3 is using VM 2.0.14 and you will upgrade to VM 2.0.18. If you have any issues just drop me an email. I will also release DiabloFX v1.4 in few days (don’t know when exactly – might be a week or so) which will be using VM 2.0.18 
Is there a wordpress version for this template by any version?

Hi, Just purchased this item, it looks great! Quick question before I start tinkering though. The main slider image seems to extend beyond the template boundries to the right when viewing the Virtuemart shop layout. Is this a glitch? How can I alter it? Thanks

Please accept my apologies and thanks for taking the time to reply! I think it must of been some kind of issue with my local server as I uploaded it to a live testing site and all was fine. Thanks again, its working a dream!

Hi, I’ve just found out the Autson Skitter Slideshow (scrolling banner) appears to have an exploit in it that injects links to other websites. It means your own site is helping promote the site that is being linked to. The link is hidden behind the banners and no immediately obvious.
Even Joomla Extensions have removed it and is under investigation: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/images-slideshow/18277I suggest you remove this banner immediately until the problems have been fully identified or the feature is replaced with a safe banner scroller.
Can JoomFX please look into this with immediate effect. When checking your site using view source, you’ll see a script file in the banner section of the code that is injecting the link onto your site illegally.

My client using this template was infected and we simply disabled the plugin and replaced with an alternative for the time being.

Thanks for your message. Don’t you think that simply using one of the other 2 Slideshow Modules I have provided is a good enough solution? Also, have you counted the number of Joomla Templates here on TF that are using the Autson Slideshow Module? Isn’t it up to the customer to decide which slideshow module to use? You said “My client using this template was infected” but man this is not a virus! I will leave the Autson Module in DiabloFX so if somebody wants it he can use it. In the next few days I will look into it and remove such a link. Apart from the above, thanks for the information.
Oh boy! Yes, there really was a hidden link. Here is what you need to do… yes, as simple as that:
1. Go to “root/modules/mod_AutsonSlideShow/tmpl
2. Open “default.php”
3. Scroll to the bottom and delete the following code:

4. Save the file and refresh the site. The hidden link is gone!
You can now use Autson Slideshow again, if you want
Hi, Just purchased this item but I’ve some problem with virtuemart. After intallation, front end (entire site) don’t appear and I see only blank page. Administration work correctly. If I disable all virtuemart plugin, the site work correctly. I check log error and I see:
PHP Warning: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Function spl_autoload_call() hasn’t defined the class it was called for in /home/joomfxco/public_html/demo/templates/diablofx/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/cart.php on line 93

Nobody has reported such problem with DiabloFX so far. In my opinion it is due to improper installation. Please send me a message from the Contact Form on my profile page containg the following information so I can install the Quickstart for you:
1. FTP Host
2. FTP Username
3. FTP Password
4. DB name
5. DB username
6 DB user password
7. Site URL
Please make sure the DB is empty. I am waiting for your response. Thanks
Sorry but in this moment, the site is not publishing and I’m working on local with MAMP Pro (mac user) to prepare site content.
I have other joomla 2.5 sites locally installed and they all work correctly. All my sites with virtuemart installed (same version of diabloFX template) work correctly.
I will follow your advice and later try to redo the installation in quick mode and if that fails, in manually mode.

Thanks for the response. This might also be the localhost (MAMP) PHP configuration. When you upload the site to a live server it will be working fine. Anyway, if you are starting a brand new site, please install the Quickstart and then just replace the demo content with yours. Installing everything manually might take weeks to configure it – you will need to install each and every component/module/plugin and configure it as it is in my demo

Hi there, thanks for purchasing DiabloFX. I wasn’t sure what you mean so I just opened it on my HTC and the Shopping Cart looks perfectly. Since DiabloFX is not responsive the layout will not change/resize when it is opened on a mobile device. It also looks as opened on a Desktop.

Yes, this is normal. Also, most of the Google Fonts does not support such characters. You need to find a font that supports your language and then send me a message from the Contact Form on my profile page so we can continue our communication via email where I can send you instructions and screenshots how to implement the new font

You probably know that DiabloFX is not responsive but you can still customize the Iphone layout. All you need to do is to edit the “root/templates/diablofx/css/iphone/template.css” file. You might also want to have a look at the T3 Framework documentation and read some details about the Iphone Layout:

Yes, you can change whatever you want. This is a normal Joomla template so all you need to do is to install the Quickstart package and then login to the Administrator Panal and change whatever you want. Most of the articles are K2 Items, the Slideshow Images can be changed from the particular Module (Module Manager), etc. This is all basic Joomla stuff – in DiabloFX you change the demo content as in any other Joomla Template.

Sorry Izzat, I cannot understand you. What do you mean it is not in English? The Administrator Panal is in English by default. It can be in other language if during the Quickstart Installation you have selected other language. Anyway, when you are at the Admin Login page you have a drop-down menu from which you can select the language you want. If you are talking about the demo articles – the text is not a real language. This is just a demo text used for website demos, etc. This is a standard:

I have a problem with VirtueMart after installing this template. Somehow my shoppingcart empties itself after xx seconds, or if o go to checkout, and also when I add more products to card.
Works fine when using a template like Beez5, but It won’t work when I enable DiabloFX. Could it be a jquery conflict problem? And how do I solve it?

Please register at our new support forums and open a disccusion there. In this discussion please mention which version of DiabloFX you are using and also the VM version. Let me know what changes you have made. Any additional information will be much appreciated. Also, please provide a URL of your website so I can see/reproduce the problem. Without a URL where I can see the problem I will not be able to troubleshoot it because there is no such problem in the default DiabloFX Quickstart Installation.

Thanks for your interest in DiabloFX. Yes, it is actually a fully working e-commerce solution. You just need to install the Quickstart package and you will have my demo site on your server. Then just change the demo content with yours
DiabloFX uses Virtuemart as a shopping cart so it is a fully featured E-Commerce website.
Also, you need some basic Joomla and Virtuemart knowledge in order to properly configure your website (the Quickstart is already preconfigured but if you want to change some settings you will need some basic knowledge or find a freelancer)

Yes, you can easily set a multilanguage site with Joomla. Unfortunately, the RTL support is not included so I do not know how the Arabic language will look like.

1. Does it happen to the default installation, I mean is the problem there immediately after installing the Quickstart Package?

Yes, there is absolutely no problem to install Italian language. You can have DiabloFX only in Italian or you can also have a Multilangual Website – English, Italian, German… all together. DiabloFX works as any other Joomla Website – once you install it you just need to install the language package from the backend and that’s all

Alright, so you just want to change my demo logo with yours
Please read the documentation, everything is explained in details there. The best option is to replace the demo logo with another one which has the same dimensions (width and height). But of course your logo can be of any size – it is explained in the Documentation what you need to do if the logo has different dimensions.
