Directory Portal Wordpress Theme

I’m new to WP, (an EE guy myself), so please pardon the Newb question. The URL Structure is a pretty good point brought up by others here. Is it possible to fix that to include “category-location-business_name” ? If not, is this a feature than a plug in can handle, if so, any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

hi is it possible to make a non English directory web portal using the theme? I it possible to have “users must be registered to see the content” feature? How the business model is build ? how the web site gains money, onlie advertisements? or premium membership is available for local business ? Is it possible to deliver promotion codes or coupons to only registered users?

Hi, can the map at the top be totally turned off? And easily? On the demo I selected no header but the map always re-appears when searching or clicking a link.

markos24 – import the default content and then look in your media library, you will see all of the icons. You need to assign each category an icon. You can also find the icons inside the theme folder WP ->Directory->Design—>img

So from reading the comments. All entries must be done by an admin. Users cannot ad and manage there own listings. Correct?

@neruda Images are not dispalayed on my site, do you understand this? Is that timthumbs that it isn’t working.

xtortionist, I’m not a Wordpress guy yet, If you know a way to do this, please share. Is this something you are going to change the code ink, or is there an SEO plugin package that would be worth purchasing?

I think correct URLs, would far out way a couple of duplicate content page errors in SEO scans.

@Integral, I’ll be working on the solution this weekend when I start on the website.

There will not be an issue with duplicate URLs because you want to focus on category listing pages to have clean SEF urls. The individuals pages will not be as clean as you may want because there could be an issue of duplicate pages depending on location.

This guy just deletes my comments… you know, he’s all for censoring the internet… that’s why I just gave him a 1 star review.

Also, I will not be providing anyone with my custom solutions… because the theme provider will just take my solutions, build it into his theme and then not pay me for anything. This has happened on more than one occasion while dealing with ThemeForest authors…
