DK For Photography Creative Portfolio

I don’t quite understand why you keep telling me to open a support ticket. I am asking on behalf of everyone who has purchased the theme for you to add a feature on the next update.

“I actually was curious if you’d be willing to code in a custom rss subscribe widget much like the custom twitter and flickr widgets already featured in the dk theme. Please let me know as this would help to allow visitors to easily subscribe via email and readers such as google reader.”

I am not in need of support or custom coding, I am simply a customer who is seeking a simple addition to the theme I have already purchased.

Please address this request here and please do not ask me to open a ticket.

I’m having trouble updating to the latest theme.

I tried uploading the zipped DK folder to the ‘Install Themes’ ‘Upload’ screen on my site & keep getting this message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/39/8690339/html/wp-content/themes/dk/

Theme install failed.

Any ideas on how to overcome this message?

Is there a way to add a caption/text to an image in the gallery?

Also, is it possible to link a gallery item to a page, rather than launching the larger image in the lightbox as it currently does?

How do you create the background overlay effect available in the theme via photoshop?

I basically would like my images to have this overlay, but on single image settings without having to use the slideshow option.

Hello, theme is great, thank you. But I have two problems. I can choose background image if I choose static image for the page.

Here is what i see.

There is no set featuring image menu. I have the lastest version. Could you advise please?

The second question is the music. I uploaded m4a file for the google chrome but I don’t hear anything

Anyone know how to to set the background style for portfolio sets? Or is it possible to add a portfolio set to a page and change it that way?

Right now all of my media files are displayed as background gallery slideshow, I need to control which gallery it should show. Thanks!

I can’t get my blog sidebar to show up on my about and my contact page even if I select the blog sidebar in the options.

I recently updated to the latest version of Wordpress and I’m having issues uploading images in my gallery. Every time I try to upload an image it says, “Cheatin’ uh?”.

I’ve tried to create a new gallery and upload the images again, but it’s doing the same thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am working on theme and trying to modify some features. Could you please help for the following:

- I want to remove page slide feature (I do not want pages to slide from bottom to top on page load) I tried finding related jquery. Could you please let me know how to disable that page slide animation.

- I want to modify thumbnails generated by timthumb php. Currently timthumb creates thumbnails automatically and some of those looks wierd. I want to be able to create thumbnails by myself..
