DK For Photography Creative Portfolio

Hi! Im still in the process of building my website and im enjoying every moment of it thanks to your user friendly interface which makes everything so simple. Great job guys! And I hope that your future updates get even more interesting and include additional features.

I need a small change for my pages. The body in the page, may it be for the text or the gallery colums, includes a white background. I need to change that to transparent or may be an opaque so I can see the static image as my background.

How can I achieve this? Would appreciate your guidance on the same. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Before purchasing, have you tested this theme with a membership plugin such as s2member? I am required to have that plugin so I want to make sure it will be compatible without any issues.

Hello, I Absolutly LOVE your theme… ive been using it for about six months now. I just have two questions,

1. How do I change the color of the text in the menu header from that grey color to another color? Ive tried looking everywhere to no avail, so can you please let me know if this is possible and what file to find this in so i can make that adjustment.

2. Is it possible to host the music file for the music player somewhere else, for somereason my music file isnt uploading and i would love to have music in my backround like the demo.

Is there a way to set the gallery to have random images? My homescreen is set to my gallery and I don’t like the images always showing up in the same pattern.

Hi I am trying to get the image thumbnails that appear at the bottom of the homepage underneath the media player controls to appear after clicking the little four squares logo that is next to the social media icons but I cannot seem to find how to do this. At the moment the images are not appearing and only a question mark is showing in their place. Any suggestions? I would have thought these would automatically be generated as smaller thumbnails but this does not seem to be happening..

I currently have DK V1.5 installed, is there any easy way to upgrade to the latest V2.0 theme? When I upload it, an error message appears saying it is Forbidden.

Also this is for a business website where I will be offering different services. Each service will have its own page. Is it possible to do a slideshow of 3-4 photos on each page where the photos are unique to that page? Or do all pages have to use the same images?

I will ask you a simple I believe question. I am new into wordpress and I’m trying to understand how hierarchy of items works. What I want to do is to create a portfolio page that will include different types of my photography i.e. landscape, portraits etc. In addition to this, I want every time you press on portfolio to be able and see the subcategories of it as gallery items. How can I do this? One more question, could you please explain what is portfolio feature and sets?

Hello, I am considering using this theme for a clients large business site. I would like to change out some of the images with some of the clients images and present to them as an idea for their business. Before purchasing, is there a way to download some sample files to test?

Resolved by copying over the previous template-gallery-attached.php file, assume there’s some error on the one shipping with version 2.0?

can you tell me why the image thumbnails are smaller compared to the video ones? I’ve tried to make a thumbnail at the correct size as featured image but when this is clicked the same image pops up.

Hello, i have a problem with google maps. I have tried more than 5 plugins but something goes wrong with the template. Although the plugin is active and i can see it’s borders, the map isnt shown. I tested in other websites and everything seems ok. Any idea?

Hi – I am trying very hard to edit text colour on http://farrisabooud.com/san-francisco/ ..right now the page title ‘San Francsico’ does not show because the text is black, against a black background. I’ve been using INSPECT ELEMENT to try to find the correct CSS to change but have not had success, please tell me the file and line number / section that need editing.

Hi, I recently purchases the DK theme. Everything worked perfect but for some reason the Contact form is not working. I searched in the web first but couldn’t find an answer. The contact form is just doing nothing. I have the latest DK and WP Version. Thanks for your help.
