I am looking for a new theme for my photo blog www.edwud.com and this is the one of best I have found after hours of searching. I really need to know if it would work / how well it would work (with regards to Gallery / Portfolio pages) with the YAPB (Yet Another Photo Blog) plugin?

I really speak to you, it is better to wait because we are going to update the theme with latest upto trend options, it may take month end or next month first week.

Can you change where it say “latest photos” on the home page?
yes, you can control it from theme options settings. go to Theme options > frontpage settings.

- Is there any way I can take out the captions and context from the home page slideshow images? The person I am working with is adamant about not having that there.
- How can I add more images under the portfolio lightbox (I am seeing the Dobin sample site and I see multiple videos and images once the portfolio image is clicked on, can I get more info on that?)

Hey we are working on all my old theme to latest versions and to date option panel, so if you can wait for few more weeks then you can get new updated files.

I have been working on this website for the past month and I am towards the end – the person I am working with really wants to wrap it up by the end of this week, and I was able to take care of what I mentioned earlier, all but the image specifics with the portfolio.
Do you think you could please help me with the image setup of the portfolio page? That is really all I need help with, and the informational file you included with the theme gives very little specifics on that with the portfolio.
Please, if you could please help me with more info I would gratefully appreciate it.

I am trying to integrate aweber pop up light box on my home page so I can start collecting emails. Can you explain how I might add the java script code. I watched a tutorial but the tutorial called for putting the code in a widget but the only widgets are available in the sidebar which will not work. Can you help?

I am having trouble with the slider. It is currently NOT on my homepage even though there are slides. How do I activate it?
Go to wordpress Dashboard, Settings > Reading , here select frontpage as posts.
Go to wp dashboard Settings > Reading and select the post as frontpage
What post? My homepage is a page, does it need to be a post? If I set a post as the front page my slider still does not appear.
Go to “Theme Options > Frontpage Settings” where you tick the checkbox which page you want to displya as home page

Hi! I just downloaded the updated version of this template to use for a project of mine. I got a good start on the set up and went to work on the visual elements.
For some reason I can not get any of my .CSS stylesheet changes to take effect. I have double checked the file permissions on the necessary files and folders. I have been using firebug to track down the necessary lines that I would like changed, so I know I am changing the right thing. I also know that the local copy on my machine has the changes and it seems to upload and overwrite correctly….then when I refresh the page none of my changes are there…..
Is there a way for me to get this working?
I notices that is has the stylesheet listed as filename.css?ver=1
I feel like that is not right….is this something to do with the cache files in my browser?
few css styles come from custom-skin.php where you can add colors from Theme options> Custom skin.
Can you tell me exactly where you get the issue, I mean which section you are trying to update?
So this seems to be some sort of a caching issue. Please let me know what code to disable so my style.css does not get a version number. I looked for the most likely places like functions.php or the header, but I can not figure out where it is coming from.
This is the first theme in all these years that I have had do this to me….Let me know what to delete or mark out. The only way I can see my changes apply is if I clear the browser cache and cookies then close, restart the browser and open the site…..even this only works about 50% of the time. If I restart my computer after the above steps before restarting the browser, then I can see my changes. I really don’t want to have to restart my computer every time I need to make a font changes or a color change.

if you do not want the custom skin from theme options and you can feel that you can manage style.css, then open function.php and find a link for custom_skin.php and remove it.

Hi there – hope you can help. When I set up a Gallery page I select Gallery-Portrait (as per the readme notes) and then click ‘insert media’, i select the pics I want and then click ‘inset into page’ (the only option available to me, it inserts the pics as a the lightbox gallery (which I expect) BUT also as normal images in the page so I have duplicates – is there any way to stop this from happening? I am on Wordpress 3.5.1 if that helps. Thanks in advance
what you are doing is correct, but you do not insert images in to the editor, just attach the images to the page and remove if any images you inserted. no images should be in the editor.
